Excellent service at the time of start and end of trip.

CanaDream were easy to deal with and the RV was amazing. We had a great time in the RV - and all our camping needs were met.

People on site: very gentle and nice
Condition of camper: clean & good, except

front sensor not working within

no adaptive cruise control
even no cruise control at all
no emergency front braking system

The fault was clearly indicated in the display but the boss (not present at site) didn't admit it as a fault and asked two technicians to remove the functionalities from the menu. Without success, just losing time and getting closer to sunset.

No excuse, no replacement RV, no compensation offered

Leider hatten wir einen Unfall und mussten die Erfahrung machen, dass die vom Personal geschriebenen Whats-up Meldungen und die Aussagen des Managers bei der Schadensregulierung nicht gewürdigt wurden und man sich nur auf die vielen zwangsweise zu unterzeichneten kleingedruckten Dokumente berufen hat. Fahrwerk und Lenkung sind nicht state of the art der Fahrzeugtechnik. Unfortunately, we had an accident and had to experience that the whats-up messages written by the staff and the manager's statements were not taken into account when settling the damage and they only relied on the many small prints that had to be signed. The chassis and steering are not state of the art in vehicle technology.

No dream but nightmare:
We have rented a camper van in August 2024 in Vancouver and made a roundtrip with family across BC. We would never again use this company.
Why? At the end of our roundtrip another van slightly hit our van at the left driver mirror (Ford F450 driver chassi). The other driver left without notice and we had to deal with it. Luckily only the glass of the mirror was damaged, nothing else of the mirror and no other car parts. We just had to fix the mirror back at its original position and were able to continue with our journey. As Canadream’s conditions enforce a notice of any damage we reported it. I looked up the part on Amazon and found it for 85$, you can simply clip it in yourself without any tools. Our journey was at the end and we were not able to order in time, so needed to leave the repair with Canadream.
It ended up that Canadream charged us 779,04$ for the exchange of the glass part!! Mutiple exchanges did not lead to compromising. Sorry, Canadream this was no dream but our last time booking and surely advising any future camper to look for more customer friendly services. Watch out!

The camper itself was OK, in general. For winteruse, the capacity of 4 - 6 people looks a bit overrated to me, as you will be inside a lot.
Service during pick-up en drop-off at Calgary is great and efficient.

One thing is that the heater-fan makes quite some noice and tends to keep you out of your sleep. Appairently this could not be resolved.

We lost a wheelcap while driving, without noticing this. No further damage or collisions or anything, so in my opinion, it could not have been fixed properly, or this should be considered normal wear and tear. Nevertheless you made me pay for this and I do not consider this correct. We took great care of your camper, and this was an unpleasant surpise at the end with a nasty aftertaste.

Canadream is a dream come true

We had a fantastic trip thanks to Canadream. Amazing RV (4 season, very clean, comfortable vehicle) which enabled us to explore the Rockies at our own pace. My wife, our son and me went sight seeing, alpine skiing, trekking and camping. The RV was truly a wonderful vehicle (home away from home). My wife was skeptical at first when our son and I presented the idea to her of an RV trip, but now she's convinced that this is the way to go and we are planning to purchase a (Canadream) RV. We live in Québec, so we flew into Calgary and we picked up the Canadream RV at their location. The employees/people working for Canadream were extremely professional, courteous and helpful throughout the entire process (pick up & drop off). Sincerely one of the best customer service experience I've had in my life (I'm 54 yrs old). THANK YOU SO MUCH for an amazing experience/trip.

We booked our rv from the end of September till mid october. When trying to book we had a pop up warning us for winterised rv’s. We opted for a winter-rv so that we could use bathroom and sink. According to the website, features of the winter rv include amongst others Vent pillows,Insulated curtain and Fleece sheets. Upon pickup however, those items were not present in the rv, nor was it possible to have them added, as apparently the full features of the winter rv are only available upon pick up after the 1st of october. After insisting we were given some extra blankets.
We had a few freezing nights. The insulating curtains and vent pillows would have come in handy.
Apart from that we were happy to have the winter-rv. It is quite large for only 2 persons, but the extra batteries, generator, and a spacious shower cabin, and heater were highly appreciated.

It was a great Trip. And the Pickup was a nice expierence, it was really comfortable to drive and to stay in the car. Also the Service from canadadream was excellence and professionell. Thank you, it was a CanaDream!

We had a great experience with CanaDream. The staff was very nice - both at the pick-up as well as the drop-off station.
The vehicle was in a very good condition and the equipment on the kitchen was great - we had everything that we needed!

We would definitely choose CanaDream again.

The RV was of very good quality and had an ideal lay out for us, we had the MH-B with 2 slide outs at the driver side and the (very spacious) bathroom in the back.

We had booked a Saver-2 Camper through a German travel agent and got a 22 ft Deluxe Camper Van at the Halifax location. The equipment (bedlinen, cutlery and crockery etc.) supplied was excellent. One exception: although it was known that we had booked the camper up to October 19th we would have expected, that the staff knowing the climatic conditions at this time of the year additional blankets could have been supplied or at least recommended this. At the specified collection time at Halifax the camper was ready and the fuel tank was completly filled. It would be nice, if a shuttle service could be provided from the accomodation to the CanaDream location. In our case it was a hotel near the Halifax airport.

We picked up our camper at the branch in Montréal. We had an reservation on the 10 of october at 01pm but arrived at 11:45 am. After all we decided to pay the 75CAD for an early pick up.
- when we inspected the vehicle there was a small door broken under the bed. They tried to fix it without a result. Finally we could leave at 12:45 am. That means we payed the early pickup for 15 minutes!
- the lighter they gave us was empty. We had to buy a new one.
- the broom was broken.
- two towels of our pakket where used for cleaning the camper and layed down the passenger and drivers seats.
- the windshield was dammaged in front of the drivers vision.
- gastank was not filled up.
- we heard that there should, at this time of the year, be a small electric heater. It wasn’t.
- the morning of 11 october our furnace stopped working. After a lot of trying and mailing we recieved two adresses in Remouski NB. The Nomad RV Co did the reparation. After all we couldn’t use the furnace for 5 days!!! Lucky we bought in a hardware store a small electric heater.
In May this year we did also a relocation for CanaDream starting in Toronto and dropoff in Calgary. Strange, without any complains. I have my thoughts about branch Montréal. Staff in Halifax couldn’t give us a compensation because the reservation was made by a travelagence.
Anyway CanaDream stays a fine company.
