Elvis table-great product and service

We ordered Elvis table from the company, they agreed to make a custom table for us due to specific dimensions we needed. Their customer service was always helpfull and available. The table itself is beatiful, we love it. It arrived in 4 packets, very well packed and was easy to assemble.

A NIGHTMARE.. PLEASE AVOID!

I would like to start my review stating that I know this review will most probably get a rude reply from the customer service, same as all their negative reviews in here. Basically, with this company, if all goes well then grand, but if something goes wrong, forget about ever getting anything sorted as their policy seems to be THEY are always right. I know we will not get a solution from writing this review but I would just want to warn people about the terrible way this company works to avoid them go through what we went through.
Earlier this year we bought a cabinet for our washing machine with this company. We went to their showroom to get their assistance and explained them what we needed (a washing machine cabinet with an additional upper cabinet of the same size, roughly worth 1000euros). The assistant created an online account on their system and inserted the order. As we wanted some non-standard additional shelves inside the upper cabinet, the assistant said he would do it the following day and send us an email so that we could proceed with the purchase. He did so, we proceeded with the purchase and waited for a month for the cabinet to arrive. To our surprise, when it arrived the cabinet was narrower than our standard washing machine, so it was useless. When we informed them of the situation they did not try to find out how this had happened but from the first minute started accusing us of having changed the size of the cabinet online. We explained them that this was not possible, as the upper cabinet with the shelves had been inserted by them manually because of the non-standard shelves (so it couldnt have been modified by us) and this had the exact same width as the other cabinet. Hence, had it been us, we couldn't have modified the
width of both elements. They insisted it was impossible for us to prove it was their mistake, and hence if we wanted we could buy a new cabinet with them for a small discount - all the communication from them in the rudest way possible (obviously this would never happen, as after this experience I WOULD NEVER buy from them ever again). We contacted a lawyer, who sent them an email asking for a solution (they never replied to him). We contacted the European body for small disputes and suggested a mediator from those available online (they never replied either). We will not open a lawsuit because it is simply something we want to forget and leave behind. The stress of facing these people again is just not worth it. I wish I had read the negative comments and the rude replies the company provides to them, so that I would have never had to meet them in the first place.

You received the items you purchased.
You placed the order on your own, on 03/19 at 21:36 (through your device and IP).

We never said that it would be “impossible for you to prove it was our mistake”: we simply stated by email that “it’s not possible to know whether the articles in the order were exactly those that were configured with our consultant (on the previous saturday), or instead they were incorrectly modified, by you, in the following days”.

The description of the articles purchased is very clear.
We hope you won’t find this “rude” (because it’s simply a “frank truth”), you ignored this clear description for 4 times:
1- when you opened your Basket;
2- when you placed your order in the Check-out;
3- when you received the order confirmation by email (it’s only in that summary where you find information to pay through Bank Transfer);
4- when you requested your invoice (a few weeks before the delivery).

This is the Oasis laundry column you configured and ordered (full description on the portal is definitely more clear, but here we have a limit in the lenght of our reply):

Also, images 31 and 32 in the Gallery do explain through a visual approach the multiple differences among various columns…this also has been ignored.

With this said:
- we offered a highly discounted price on the purchase of a new column;
- we’ve never been contacted by any lawyer (we always reply to every single claim).

It’s all very clear.

One last note about negative comments.

It’s true that for all negative comments we receive we do write our frank description of events.

Our version of the story is always more detailed than the complaints (and this is very important, as “the devil is in the details”): the author might not like what we write, sometimes he/she might update his/her review based on our reply, but we NEVER get a direct factual response to our arguments as our replies are always based on facts…what is written on the portal, dates, emails, pictures/video received by the client.
Facts, not opinions.

Our Customer Care team strives and “fights” every day for happy clients.
Every colleague doesn’t operate based on personal opinions or “company costs”, we only operate based on facts: “are we late with delivery?”, “has the client followed our Delivery Procedure?”, “what is included in the order?”, “was information provided correct?”.

When “not ideal service” (or worse “bad service”) has taken place, we always try and find ways to have a happy client (understanding, refunds, store credits,...); when all checks of good service are in place we still always offer understanding, explanations, assistance, but we are not open to accept that “2+2 = 5”.

A possible client now reading this reply should also know that quite a few orders do have problems (we do focus on highly customised solutions and this comes with a percentage of issues to be solved). Orders with issues are actually quite a bit more than those orders which bring us a negative comment…but the point is that most orders that do have issues are actually managed for the best, and those clients either publish a good review, or sometimes they simply don’t share their experience. Many positive reviews are by clients that actually tested our service while solving issues.

We are not saying “we are good”, or “we are the best”, this is simply what we have to do in order to fulfill our contractual obligations and to thank all our clients that put their trust in us.

First collaboration with diotti - not my last

First collaboration with diotti - ordered 2 wardrobes and 1 sideboard. From beginning to the end a professional accompanied journey (thanks Raffaele!). Products are of good quality, well packaged, well sorted and marked. Reachability and availability of diotti referent steadily provided and guided through the process from ordering to delivery.

Fantastic communication from the…

Fantastic communication from the beginning. Despite an online furniture shop, I was able to understand precisely what was offered and adjust the requirements to my needs. The review of the order was also very useful, exchanging drawings to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted.
I received all the goods a little in advance and I was very pleased with the quality. Being originally from the area where the manufacturer is located, I can tell diotti offers definitely good quality products. Free delivery, given the amount, made definitely super competitive their prices: you just need to be sure you can fit what you buy. Also, there was a little damage in a couple of shelves, discovered only when opening the boxes (most likely because of the delivery company). Diotti, promptly sent a replacement for those parts without any problem.
Overall, excellent service and quality! I will definitely use them again in the future. No comparison to the London prices of italian furniture for exactly the same quality if not better.

A+++. I ordered several items for the bedroom and hallway. The quality and design are excellent, so as the customer service. From designing to delivering (800 km away), everything was done to meet my needs. Special thanks to Jessica who was impeccable. Professional, competent and attentive to my requests, she came up with incredible solutions to better arrange the apartment. And thanks to Andrea who followed up on the logistic side, not an easy task, but greatly performed. I highly recommend them.

Excellent service and perfect products!

I ordered several bedroom closets @Diotti and I am really really very satisfied! Great service from Raffaele as in the beginning I was a bit careful to order directly in Italy. However we had a very good contact with Raffaele and he was very helpfull. The ordered closets were delivered in time and the quality is even better than expected! Building them together wasn't very difficult and I can highly recommend Diotti. It saves a lot of money to order directly and after all I am really glad I found them... next furniture will certainly be bought here. Greetings from the Netherlands

It’s just getting WORSE.

UPDATE: (please be known that I’m aware that this isn’t reddit and I wouldn’t be writing and update unless I found it necessary)
So I’ve finally received the last parts of the salon/ living room table and it’s safe to say that my mind hasn’t changed for the better.
The last parts that were missing were little suction cup- screws that we received. I also expected some proper stickers or parts for the bottom of the cement feet, but that wasn’t the case. I stuck some felt stickers on them myself (they were meant for the mean time) so they wouldn’t totally scratch up my floor. And even before putting these under the table
So besides that missing, the suction cup-screws didn’t really stabilize or help keep the glass on the cement. So I’m not even confident enough to use it to it’s actually use, of just putting stuff on it.
The cement feet are also so rough and prickly that I’ve caught a SPLINTER.
So again: DON’t ORDER FROM THERE AND ESPECIALLY NOT THAT PRODUCT.
Because I just want to return it.

You can send it back to us (or carry it yourself if you wish). In this specific case you don't even need the original packaging, you just need to make sure that it travels safe and protected.

Too notch company

I needed a a kitchen table with chairs and a lamp. Raffaele was amazing at knowing exactly what would work with the style, colors etc in the kitchen!
He was always available when I had a question until the very end!
I love love the result and the quality is superb! Good value for the money!
I can highly recommend Diotti to anyone that wants to avoid an interior designer to come to the house, but still is looking for expertise in interior design! It saves a lot of money…

As an Italian living in the Netherlands…

As an Italian living in the Netherlands I was struggling finding the Italian design and quality at an affordable price in the Netherlands. Then, I came Diotti across on the Web. I totally loved their online showroom and I took a chance. I called first and sent an e-mail, and I felt immediately reassured. Francesca became my first point of contact, explained how to use their software to design my library and assisted me every step of the way. Eventually, I bought also a large Wall-tv-cabinet which is absolutely stunning. The quality is definitely superior. I was also able to follow the process from production to delivery online and I finalized the delivery by communicating with Francesca by e-mail. The price was all inclusive, they did not charge extra costs to deliver my orders to the Netherlands. My husband and I were even able to assemble the furniture without any help. And we are not very handy! I can recommend Diotti 100%. Stunning design furniture from a very reliable company.

Exceptional product and service.

A huge thank you to Diotti.com and in particular Elisabetta. Naturally hesitant to purchase wardrobes from a supplier in another country I purchased a cheap flight to Italy. My experience was exceptional from start to finish. Elisabetta took the time to walk me round the impressive showroom and discuss my requirements in detail. I am delighted with the finished product, the quality of the materials used is excellent and the final look did not disappoint. The customer service provided from Elisabetta throughout the process was first class. Overall my experience with the company and product is first class. - Thank you. Definitive review: Rude and incorrect therefore strongly not recommended!

They delivered without the necessary holes and carpentry for assembly (based on their own instruction manual). They tried to take time not to let me send written notification of a replacement request within the time-barring 15 days! Upon receipt of the registered email, they claimed that I had to pay for the transport when it is the opposite given the European Consumer Code. To date they don't even dare to respond to this review. They even had the courage to insult me and offer me money to shut me up. When I reiterated that I demanded the replacement of the modules, they failed to reply.
I confirm everything: Ignorant of the legal matter they should know to practice their profession, rude and incorrect since they do not comply with the European regulations.
They are just mail order sellers without professionalism and who do not respect the statutory duties.
Rather than buying from them, go to your favorite furniture retailer and then to a tiler or marble worker; you will earn in time and money.

No allegations, only supported statements but you have no evidence supporting your alleged timely report and, more important, your alleged replies!
You failed to reply to my Google review after 2 months, insulted me and now you are not even able to defend your defective furniture!

I can provide waybill, invoices, photographs, Instruction manual and any type of evidence supporting my review and the defectiveness of the furniture.
Sangiacomo is the real the manufacturer of the furniture (as per Instruction Manual) and you are only a reseller, who are not even able to assembly a module and the drawers (as per photographs and instruction manual).

On the basis of statutory duties, you MUST replace the defective modules as per my supported registered email (PEC). Stop trying to offer money to avoid your duties! I don't want your money but only not defective furniture!

Hanno consegnato un settimanale senza i fori necessari per il montaggio e senza la ferramenta necessaria al montaggio (sulla base del loro stesso manuale di istruzioni). Hanno cercato di prendere tempo per non farmi inviare la notifica scritta di richiesta di sostituzione entro i 15 giorni di legge! Alla ricezione della PEC, hanno asserito che dovevo pagare il trasporto quando è il contrario visto il Codice del Consumo Europeo. Ad oggi non hanno neanche il coraggio di rispondere a questa recensione. Hanno anche avuto il coraggio di insultarmi ed offrirmi dei soldi per zittirmi. Quando ho ribadito che esigevo la sostituzione dei moduli, hanno tagliato le comunicazioni.
Confermo tutto: Ignoranti della materia legale che dovrebbero conoscere per esercitare la loro professione, maleducati e scorretti visto che non rispettano la normativa.
Sono solo dei venditori per corrispondenza senza professionalità e che non rispettano la legge.
Piuttosto che comprare da loro, passate dal rivenditore di mobili che preferite e poi dal piastrellista o da un marmista; guadagnerete in tempo e denaro.

The reconstruction provided is instrumental as it contains multiple false or non-verifiable allegations.

- 15/11/2022 we receive a report from Massimo Fischetti on the difficulties encountered in assembling the chest of drawers received;
- 16/11 we give written acknowledgment of acceptance, later in the day we receive a reminder;
- 11/17 we receive a new threatening and aggressive reminder...the phrase "since 3 days have already passed" (when it was barely 2) does show Fischetti's intellectual honesty;
- 20-21/11 several phone calls take place to try and understand the issue and we propose alternatively 1- to proceed with the assembly with self-threading screws; or 2- to bring the pieces to our warehouse to drill the "perhaps missing" holes (to date we are not sure); or 3- to wait a few weeks, necessary for the production of new elements...but unfortunately Fischetti excludes every possibility, demanding immediate replacement ("impossible" since we are dealing with customized goods, made to order);
- 22/11 we confirm that based on the information collected, the chest of drawers supplied can be assembled correctly, that if the customer deems a piece supplied to be "defective" the piece can be sent to the factory for the appropriate checks, and that if any anomalies are found they are resolved under warranty;
- 22/11 (later) the exchange of Certified Mail (PEC) begins, only to repeat and formalize the exchange already made by ordinary mail;
- 23/11 we reply with the solution proposals already described;
- 24/11 we confirm that "once the disputed defect has been verified, we will be happy to replace it free of charge and reimburse the costs incurred for the return; alternatively, you can pack the parts in question perfectly and bring them to our office" (proposal perfectly compatible with the Consumer Code);
- 24/01/2023 Fischetti publishes his assessment on Trustpilot...but having rejected every possible solution proposal, it is indeed confirmed the instrumental purpose of the alleged anomaly found (and the purpose of this comment)


"They tried to take time not to let me send written notification..." is a mere ranting, confirmed by our timely report.

"To date they don't even dare to respond to this review" is unfortunately another blunder, since this reply appears online only 1 hour after the publication of the comment.

"They even had the courage to insult me" is a blatant falsehood... we confirm that we hypothesized that the problem could lie in a possible inexperience in the assembly (a concept very far from insulting, potentially "true" or perhaps "not applicable", but we don't know about it because we were unable to verify the state of the pieces).
Indeed, Fischetti did speak with at least 4 members of the team ... this in our vain attempt to try to satisfy a customer who believes in the potential of shouting and insults to obtain some kind of benefit...for example our Customer Service Manager had to suffer an elegant "I'm an insurance technician, I know these things ... but who are you? GO DIG THE GROUND!", an attitude towards others that says a lot about the matter in question.

"Offer me money to shut me up" is another blatant falsehood... when a customer suffers a real inconvenience it may happen that a Purchase Voucher is offered in order to apologize for the problem encountered: on top that the purpose would certainly not have been to "shut up", we confirm that in this case we have never offered any Gift Vouchers to Fischetti...was it Fischetti's only aim from the start?

"When I reiterated (...) they failed to reply"...upon receipt of the fifth Certified Mail message (identical to the previous ones), after our four timely, clear and constructive replies (which confirmed the possible solutions already anticipated starting from 11/22 ) on 11/28 we consciously chose not to proceed with further feedback.

"Rude and incorrect, therefore strongly not recommended"...it really does apply to this supply.
