An excellent editing tool, I've been using it for a few years now and I'm more than happy with my professional looking results. I've often spent many a happy hour using it. It's very easy to use with it's user friendly interface. There is loads of exciting stuff to play with.. music/stock footage/stickers etc.
My only grumble with filmora is that when it comes to editing vertical/portrait videos I use something else as I find it easier. Apart from that I love it.

I signed up for Filmore for 1 year. It was meant to be a small once off amount. They have been deducting amounts from my bank account for months. I cancelled my subscription, but still the payments went off on my card. I tried to contact them several times but was unsuccessful in reaching them. I eventually had to contact my bank to cancel my credit card after they have been deducting money from my card for 4 months.

The software is okayish for beginners. The problem is they don't tell you that once you buy their annual subscription, you won't be able to use their video templates or pictures. You will have to pay an additional $20 monthly to use their features. It would be great if they told you about the additional cost, instead of getting you to buy their annual subscription, which doesn't give you a lot to work with in editing your videos. That seems like scam to me. It is so hard to trust anyone these days. They definitely lost my trust.

And maybe it is a great video editing software. But the fact that they don't tell you upfront about their hidden costs, just shatters their credibility!

the watermark is too big a can not see…

the watermark is too big a can not see the words i put
not helping not convenient for student i dont recommend this application to students too expensive for an average type application

An excellent editing tool.

An excellent editing tool, I've been using it for a few years now and I'm more than happy with my professional looking results. I've often spent many a happy hour using it. It's very easy to use with it's user friendly interface. There is loads of exciting stuff to play with.. music/stock footage/stickers etc.
My only grumble with filmora is that when it comes to editing vertical/portrait videos I use something else as I find it easier. Apart from that I love it.

CLICK BAIT - BEWARE OF SIGNING UP

I signed up for Filmore for 1 year. It was meant to be a small once off amount. They have been deducting amounts from my bank account for months. I would definitely not recommend this…

I would definitely not recommend this product. When it works it is actually good, but I found that constant project stopping glitches would suddenly appear from nowhere, and the help you get is dreadful and time wasting. I uninstalled and reinstalled Filmora 3 times, on the instructions of the helpline, all for different glitches. The final glitch was the Audio Ducking not working. I told the helpline (which I am convinced is AI - I asked the question but never got a reply) that I cannot just keep reinstalling. It's a bigger issue. I was spending more time trying to fix issues (or work around to save time) problems then editing for my travel vlog, while on the road. Eventually help gave me instructions to send a compressed log to them. I followed instructions but the log did not automatically compress as it should have, but was repeatedly asked to redo the same thing. To cut a long story short, after weeks of this, I managed to get them what they wanted. The reply was that the technicians claim that the Audio Ducking is working , but I need to make some adjustments. I had already told the helpline that I had previously manipulated those same adjustments, but they did not help. The audio ducking is NOT working, you can hear it on my channel posts (I tried too refer help to that - no interest). I have now given up as I cannot waste more time with useless and time consuming help, and have started to use another program. I will write off the balance of my subscription, and given the time it took to get no help tells me I have absolutely no chance of even discussing a refund. Life is too short.

They will let you down!

Absolute scam!

Absolute scam!! Trash software with no support whatsoever. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!

I downloaded this crap program so I could screen record as it was recommended an a google search. I have the program installed on my laptop. I opened it & it updated to the latest version. I chose the screen record option. The screen record dialogue box opened. I started it. It counted down from 3, 2, 1, & started recording (supposedly). After I finished, I could not find my video anywhere & did not see anywhere to stop the screen recording. Thought I did something wrong. Tried again. Same result. Tried a 3rd time. Same result.
After wasting about 1 1/2 hours of my life, I tried to contact customer service. Got the number & called. They said it would be about a 5 minute wait. A little over 4 minutes into the call, a recorded voice came on & said no one was available to help me. The phone hung up. I called back several times but got the same recording telling me no one was available. I called from a different phone & got the original 5 minute wait recording. After a little over 4 minutes, I got the same no one is available recording. When I called back it went straight to the no one available crap.
This program is a total waste of time & there is no customer support. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!

In regards to Wondershare Filmora's reply. You were not willing to help me until I posted a negative review. Correct the issues & maybe you can assist another customer when they need it. I have uninstalled the program & have no further use for it. This is classic company not providing basic customer service but replying to a complaint to make it appear that they are doing everything they can to help. Nobody is fooled. Consumers see this type of tactic every day. Nice try but goodbye.

Thieves

Thieves, nothing more. I cannot find any other word for their practises.

I did use the tool for one month because i needed to create a movie. But that is all. Of course on the purchase side there is no option to buy access only for 1 month. You have to make it a subscription.

As currently i don't need it any more (i don't create movies on daily bases. I just had one need) i've cancelled the subscription (i have notice today on my bank account that next payment was made)

I've asked the support for refund of the unused subscription. I had such situation multiple times with various suppliers (Amazon, Netflix and so on) and there was no issue. Those companies simply refunded me the unused period as clearly their business model is not about stealing money for service they will not provide (as customer doesn't want it)

Unfortunately this company has it upside down :) So no refund is possible. I will start chargeback procedure as clearly payment is valid only when the product/service was delivered. And the service will be not delivered as i don't want it.

Good support and fast resolution to auto upgrade issue ...

Using the software for about a year now with no real issues. Encountered a bit of an upgrade problem after a computer change. Software performed as required but the program no longer received and installed any new software upgrades. Contacted customer support and was provided with a new download link with a newer software version. After installing the upgraded version automatic updates are being received and installed again. Thank You from KassDays for the support and quick resolution.

Once I was able to talk with her things…

Once I was able to talk with her things were great. She was kind, Knowledgeable and patient.
Problem was that I was on hold for 27 Minutes before I could reach her and that was not enjoyable.

I purchased a lifetime license

I purchased a lifetime license, but if I update any more, a watermark appears, so I have to purchase the license again, and I was disappointed that there was no sound effects to use in the video.

However, users who own a lifetime plan since Filmora9 or an older version can upgrade to the latest version for free.
