In today's world a lot of companies do not train their staff to deal with seniors, making it difficult for people like me 76 to understand different processes. My dealing with Hagerty was simple and easy.
I have waited 60 years to get my first Streetrod & finding & buying a beauty like I got was stressful enough, dealing with Hagerty was a pleasant surprise
Thanks Gerry

Having only made one claim in probably 30 years, I can tell you that I felt like haggerty was on my side and appreciate the way my case was handled. I realize that these cases can be very traumatic and difficult due to some uncooperative third parties, but in the end everything was resolved and we walked away content with the settlement. Big thank you to Kristy Wesley in particular.

I've been with Hagerty for many years now. It goes beyond just insurance.
They really do cover the collector market extremely well and supply articles, valuation tool and other feature that make i
t part of an overall experience. The Hagerty magazine is currently one of the best available. Add in very reasonable insurance rates and coverage, you can't lose.

Recently denied comprehensive coverage…

Recently denied comprehensive coverage for having a roll bar in the car, not a roll cage, as I tried to explain this is a very common addition in classic convertibles that have no protection from roll overs, the custom car agent told me that they consider the number of points to define a roll bar or roll cage, and that they consider anything over 2 points as a roll cage! This showed a lack of basic knowledge of this component, a 2 point roll bar is a cosmetic item, and cannot provide any structure to provide safety from a roll over. Absurdly if I compromised passenger safety by removing the roll bar I may be able to get coverage, or if the bar is 2 point and purely cosmetic I may be covered. Hagerty also did not like aftermarket full back seats with 3 point harnesses, and would instead prefer unsafe seats with no head and neck protection and lap belts without cross shoulder protection.
