Negative Experience with Holvi Payment Services
My Negative Experience with Holvi Payment Services
I want to share my deeply disappointing experience with Holvi Payment Services.
My Holvi account for my company is scheduled to be closed on November 4, 2024. During this time, I have received multiple complaints from my clients who did not receive outgoing payments. These payments were marked as successfully executed in the Holvi banking system and account statements.
After being notified about the account closure, I immediately requested an up-to-date account balance and a detailed statement, along with providing my bank account details for the transfer of remaining funds. Despite sending more than three inquiries to Holvi, I have not received a single response, nor have I gotten my funds back.
The business practices of the Holvi team are highly unprofessional and disrespectful to their customers. Moreover, Holvi operates in a dishonest manner, withholding its clients’ money without justification. This company lacks transparency and engages in what I consider deceptive practices.
I am now preparing to report this matter to all relevant law enforcement agencies in Germany and Finland to hold the responsible individuals accountable for what appears to be fraudulent behavior.
I strongly advise anyone considering using Holvi to think twice. Dealing with this group of scammers under the Holvi brand name has been one of the worst decisions I have made. Protect your business and steer clear of their services.
Holvi replied here on Trustpilot for me to contact them, but this answer was as always a show for the public. I have not received any answers to my official requests. Which confirms their fraudulent nature.

Really bad customer service, and service in general:)
Really bad customer service. I've been their customer for years and when had to reopen the account with new business id they denied to verify it. When I'm ALREADY their customer with the same business owned by the same person. No help no support, just basically saying - go f888ck yourself. Happy to close my account with them and use some better bank (thankfully there is plenty)

16500€ lost due to Holvi
My German company was scammed by another holvi customer for 16500€. Even though I have reputable company and am long term customer of holvi, their support ignored multiple requests to prevent scammer from withdrawing money from their holvi account.
The scammer is imprisoned now in Germany but the money was already spent when police finally seized his accounts.
Holvi is complicit in thismloss of 16500€.
I cannot recommend them.

Scam and worst service ever!
Scam! We opened up a bank account. It said that they need 2 days to review all the documents. After 4 days they said they need 6 days. After 7 days they said, that they are "checking it" and are going to write me an Email. 2 minutes later they blocked my account. That is just shi**y behavior. I can highly recommend BUNQ or WISE. I am going to share this experience in the social networks.

Would rate them 0 stars if possible. Their customer service is basically non-existant. We had trouble with a SWIFT payment, and while the problem was obviously with HOLVI, they sent us on a wild goose chase trying to blame everyone else for their mistake.
Their mistake directly cost us about 250 EURO. Plus a lot of time trying to sort out it out, and not being able to pay one of our suppliers on time, which has a cost that's difficult to asses.
But the worst part, they do not own up to their mistake, does nothing to rectify the situation, and it's clear that the same mistake would happen again, because they do not care about sorting out the root cause of the problem.
Update after their reply: They say they take they will take this seriously and will investigate, but basically what they have done is to make me investigate for them. It just gets worse and worse...
New update: They wrote that they would investigate, but absolutely no action has been taken by them 3 weeks after this happened. They answer our emails, but it's clear they don't bother reading the content of them. Horrible customer service that completely ignores the fact that they cost us money.

From the start, Holvi offered a functional banking solution and have added more useful features ever since. Their customer support is real (caring and helpful) and reasonably prompt. I don't say perfect but for the buck it is the best I've experienced. Has worked super for me in the past five years.
