Small issue which I emailed got a call within half hour or less, Joe walked me through suggestion of issue, and solved it adding a new network, problem solved within minutes.

The prospect of faster speeds for a lower price induced me to investigate Lightspeed. They also offered a contract buy out option at the time, so that was a plus. Meena explained everyhting and we booked an installation date (this was delayed 1 week due to engineer sickness, but this hiccup was well communicated and in the circumstances understandable). Installation day came with a visit to the outside by cable engineers who were very friendly and made themselves known to us. Installation engineer arrived later in the morning and everything was installed in consultation with us, the equipement explained and app' set up before he left leaving the work area clean. Not a single negative exeprince in the journey so far
Called for support with TV not connecting to WiFi, Joe was brilliant. Really easy instructions, explained what he was doing and 15 mins later all TVs in house connected and working. Excellent service, Joe is a star ⭐!!!
Just spoke to a lovely man called paolo at lightspeed who was so friendly and explained the whole process of switching from our currently provider to lightspeed. He helped every step of the way and only finished the call once he was happy I understood everything and had talked me through everything I needed to do

Excellent service!
Had their broadband connected a short while ago. After one cancelled appointment, due to engineer calling in sick on the morning of our appointment. Which is out of anyones control, which we were compensated for (which they informed us about). The appointment was rearranged straight away and all sorted the following day.
The engineer rang the day before to let us know when he would be there, and in the morning to let us know he was on the way.
The installation took a couple of hours, due to running overhead cable from the other side of the road, and was very neat and tidy. Went through the set up and made sure we were happy with everything before he left.
Contacted customer services to order a beacon (answered very quickly) and they arranged for an engineer to bring one round that very morning. He offered to Install it but as it's very straight forward and done with the Nokia app, I did it in about 5 minutes.
The speed of our new connection is around 60 times what we had with Sky, and very stable with upload speed to match.
Overall very impressed with the level of service, (something that seems in short supply these days) and have no hesitation in recommending Lightspeed if you are in one of the areas they supply.

Amazing and constant speeds.
We moved to Lightspeed from one of the other Gigabit providers as their service simply wasn't up to scratch.
Have to say Lightspeed's service has been 100% stable, no speed degradation what so ever.
We were using another company where their 1 Gigabit speeds were so up and down, dropping as low as 7mbs, getting kicked off Zoom, Netflix and Youtube.
Lightspeed are a constant high speed service.
The customer service team are brilliant, quick and efficient.
I highly recommend Lightspeed Broadband.

LS gets my 100% recommendation
I had been eagerly keeping my eyes on the roll-out page as I had been waiting for fiber to come to my area for quite a while. I signed up as soon as the service was available and the process was easy.
I was the first in my area to sign up, so a week before my installation date I had some of the LS team call by and install the fiber up to the property. They were respectful, clean and quick. Top marks!
On the installation day, David called by a little earlier than scheduled but this worked for me. He installed everything cleanly and was very helpful in setting it all up. He made sure to follow my requests when it came to installation location and wiring. I could not have asked for anything more on the installation front. I have been receiving 1030-1045Mbps since! Fab!
I run my own network (with router, switches and APs) as I have a lot of smart connected devices and the processing power of typical ISP equipment is not up to scratch for this kind of thing. Unfortunately, LS do not currently support putting the Nokia router into bridge mode which means I would be double NAT'd. So I decided to try connecting my network directly to the Nokia hub. With over 50 client devices, I have been running the network 100% reliably for a week now. This Nokia hub is no joke, certainly the best router that an ISP offers. I suspect the wifi extenders that LS offer will also be very good, should you need them.
tl;dr - installation process was smooth and professional. speeds as promised. ISP router is by far the best I've come across. LS gets my 100% recommendation.

Expect teething issues
Some teething issues, but overall happy with the service especially considering how much you pay for the bandwidth you get compared with other providers. When we do encounter issues, the support feels personal and highly responsive.
Things I wish I'd known before:
- You must use the router provided
- You don't have full access to all the settings in the router
- LightSpeed can, at any time, remote into your router with full permissions. Although super useful for most people as support can fix issues quicker, I'd like to see this locked down for the privacy-conscious where we customers must grant explicit permissions first.
Despite the cons, I'd still wholeheartedly recommend choosing LightSpeed. I fully expect their service to get better as time goes by.
A locally based business, finally bringing gigabit speeds to our forgotten small towns. I can get behind that!

Great service. Great customer support.
Amazing so far after 2 weeks being connected. After ditching BT 3 years ago and surviving on 2 4g connections because I could get no fibre at my address. Enter Lightspeed. As soon as I could get connected that was me sold. Installation was clean and smooth. Engineer was a top bloke (Darren) and it's basically been faultless from install to now. 947Mbps up and down at all times. That's coming from 90 down / 45 up on 4g (12 down / 1 up with BT) so as you can imagine pretty darn stoked about it.
Update 22/08/2022.
Nokia Wifi app no longer seems to connect, even though I have a wifi connection, and seeing as the browser ui has very limited functionality I cannot now make changes I want. Just installed new motherboard in my gaming pc and now have different ip address and mac address. I had it all set up previously as static ip and portforwarding for xbox live. I cannot change this now as I have no access to the wifi app and the browser ui page is completely useless.
The service is great. The hardware is utter pants.
Update 24/08/2022.
So I was emailed elevated login details for router gateway and can now change things I want. App still doesn't work but I can live with that. Keep up the good work LS.
Update 19/08/2023.
Noticing a few disconnects while gaming. Constantly having to re-enter login details on apps even though I have stated this is a trusted device. Down to not being given a static IP I would guess. All in all doesn't seem to be working as well as when I first got it.
Update 27/05/2024
So they now offer a static IP which I have taken up for an extra £6 p/m. I have let it settle down now for a couple of weeks and can say it was well worth it. Initially had a few hours offline due to a misconfiguration but as ever they were very apologetic and helpful. This is how support should be. They really care. Despite that sketchy switch to static I can only praise this company for their support and service. Back to 5 stars for me. If they are available in your area get it.

The best kind of ISP.
Lightspeed are great, customer service from both the CS team and the engineers is top notch. When I had my fibre installed, they discovered an issue in the street which meant my service didn’t go live after the router set up. Whilst the engineer was setting my router up, the problem was escalated and there was another engineer fixing the street fault before my home setup was even finished. Great value for money for gigabit and even at peak times my speeds are reliable!

Professional and efficient service
Waited for three months for a competitor to install my broadband. Called lightspeed on a Friday and they had an engineer carring out a site survey on the following Tuesday. Install was completed the following week and it's worked seamlessly since. They are very professional and efficient. The installation was carried out quickly and the engineer performed the speed tests in front of me so I could verify the speed. Better than I have ever experienced from any other provider.

New Connection
The communication has been first class from the day that I placed my order throught to the engineer arriving today.
The engineer was extremely helpful, was respectful in our home and did not leave any mess behind. He explained everything to me, carried out speed tests in front of me, which I am pleased to say are still extremely good.

Really impressed with Lightspeed, the staff on the phone have been great and friendly.
The Engineers were excellent very professional and polite.
They had a issue with the fibre line and returned in force the next morning to rectify it.
I had a call today from them saying they had detected a issue on my line is it ok for a engineer to visit, i said yes. a engineer was at my house within the hour. he had to replace the full fibre run due to a fault.
Excellent again, he kept me informed of the issue as was very thorough at his job.
I highly recommend Lightspeed. they have massive investments behind them and are rolling out to other counties now.
My speed test is at 1055Mbps Download and 921 upload. A lot better than the 12mb with BT

The speed is exactly as advertised. Very low ping as well. There was apparently a fault on the line once and the engineer was here before we even noticed there was a fault (slower speed).
He fixed it in less then 5 minutes. Very happy with them.
