Great sofa, customer service was good and delivery was good. The only thing that let it down was when we visited the store in Leeds they categorically told us they never do sales, so it wouldn’t be worth us waiting until Black Friday, Christmas or January to purchase. 1 month later I see the sofa we purchased but £300 cheaper. So what I’d say is, good sofas, but if you’re debating whether they do sales, they absolutely do!

Guildford store is lovely and spacious and really well laid out. Staff didn’t harass you whilst browsing, very friendly, chilled vibe and helpful when it came to responding to questions and taking an order. Very pleasant experience.
I visited the Redbrick store in Batley numerous times before purchasing our sofa. Every time, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Emma’s service was particularly outstanding, her knowledge, patience and advice was very reassuring (although everyone was incredibly helpful). Such a lovely relaxed experience without feeling pressured into buying anything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Loaf to all of my friends and family.
Thank you so much.
You do have good designs, vibrant colours and quality, but I don't agree with your delivery charges, as you do charge enough for Loaf products so in my opinion you should not charge delivery, especially when it's £100 or over. This is an honest Loafer's suggestion. Thanks

Delivery good. Returns not so much
Delivery was great. Return process frustrating. X10 automated emails so far telling me “we have it in hand”. Same message in each one, which reads incredibly patronising after the first few automated messages…
“Rest assured that our Brand Ambassadors are committed to getting back to you as quickly as they can. Thanks for your patience”
Wearing a bit thin after 10 emails. Can I just get my cash back please?

A charming experience
From receiving the swatches in the lovely box along with a very welcome hot chocolate mix (it was very cold that day), to the prompt service when I called, it was all excellent. Cannot wait now for the sofa. Thank you Loaf

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. We have had to have our table delivered 3 times as it was broken twice. On the final replacement loaf did not book a collection of the broken table, luckily Wincanton the courier were able to sort it on the day. It has taken 3 months and many calls to rectify and each time their customer service team seem to have no idea what's going on and we have to re-explain our case. We have been very disappointed by the loaf customer service team and have not had sufficient apology.

Josh called to resolve a pricing issue within 30mins of me emailing customer service. He swiftly sorted the situation, was softly spoken, courteous and generous with his Christmas wishes for me and my family. Happy customer!

Really poor
Really poor. I ordered £300+ of cushions in early November and payment was taken at that time. By early December there was still no sign of the cushions arriving and no update from Loaf as to when they would arrive. As such, I contacted Loaf to cancel the order and requested a refund. Loaf responded promptly to say that the order was cancelled and I would be refunded but then the cushions arrived anyway on 10 December so no refund was issued. The cushions arrived in an enormous box which has been sitting in my house ever since with Loaf failing to arrange for them to be collected but refusing to issue me a refund because the cushions haven't been collected. At this rate, Loaf will have had my money for more than 2 months before it is returned. Really slow responses to my emails and no response at all to my 2 requests for a manager to contact me. Very disappointed.

A deeply disappointing experience
I had a deeply disappointing experience with Loaf. For a company charging 3 times what their competitors charge you’d expect premium service, but from start to finish I have been let down.
First, there were significant delays in delivering the sofa I had ordered - not once, but twice, with no other reason given other than ‘sorry, we can’t get it to you’ meaning a sofa I ordered in August 2024 did not arrive until late November. When it finally arrived it was damaged, meaning that I could only functionally use half of it.
Despite reporting the issue immediately, Loaf had to outsource the repair to another company (Emmiera) to rectify the problem in mid December, (for interest, the next slot they had available after that was well into 2025) meaning their delays had me without a sofa for almost 6 months. To make matters worse, Loaf promised me a vague incentive or compensation for the inconvenience but failed to follow through.
The sofa is fine. The slapdash ordering experience was however incredibly frustrating, and therefore ultimately not even close to worth the money I paid. I expected better and would strongly urge others to think twice before purchasing from them - there are other companies charging far less for a more reliable service and for similar products.

Please save yourselves a lot of hassle…
Please save yourselves a lot of hassle and wasted hours with LOAF no one can help you when things go wrong. They are totally incompetent and their own management team are NOT ALLOWED due to internal procedures to ring the delivery team, unbelievably bad. Loaf Holdings Ltd shows a number of directors, directly contacting them may be the only way to actually get anyone to listen. The company number is 13189464 and a companies house search shows all of their names. Good Luck everyone.

Disappointing customer service after great in store experience
Staff in store (Wilmslow) were very helpful when we viewed various chairs, looking at fabric samples etc. Frustrating that can't phone a store directly as wanted to speak to staff when we decided which one to order. Ordered easins chair online, postage was£49. Rang to check this as online said armchairs and biggish items like single mattress etc were £29. The sqish bag chair which is slightly bigger than easins is £29 delivery?? Don't understand why they are different as basically same chair with different back design. Was fobbed off with first phone call, very unhelpful... Was told it was£49 as they would assemble it, the chair is already assembled and has just got 2 cushions! Second phone call was more helpful and said would look in to it and get back to me but so far haven't heard anything.....very disappointing customer service after great in-store experience... Don't mind paying delivery but spending a lot of money on a chair in first place I feel a premium company like loaf can do much better than this and treat customers better.

Fantastic products, fantastic service.
Phone was answered quickly. Ffion was extremely pleasant, polite, knowledgeable and helpful, she listened to my scenario and questions and advised me accordingly. She then happily and efficiently took my order over the phone as I requested and emailed me the order confirmation straight away as promised. I know my son will be really thrilled with his new sofa and I am thrilled at being able to take advantage of the sale whilst it’s on. Overall a fantastic experience!
