I feel like I was scammed
I feel like I was scammed. Here's why: Mighty fix offers a monthly box called Mighty nest. The ad claimed that you get your first box for $5. Now, I thought that is a great deal! And I signed up for the membership. Little did I know that I was not receiving a box at all. I received an envelope with 5 dish cloths in it. Ummmm. Not cool! I have signed up for monthly boxes before because they offered a discount on the first box, but usually I get whatever the monthly box is that is sent to all customers for that month. Usually, you get several items in a box that are either sample, full size, or a mixture of both. I paid $5 and received $3 worth of dish cloths. Keep in mind that the monthly box is $13.95. So, it wasn't that unreasonable to think I would be sent a box with a few items in it. I wouldn't have been bothered by it had it not been advertised as "get your first box for $5". Transparency is what keeps customers. When a company is honest, it makes people feel good about who they are supporting. What a disappointment. I don't know how they have almost 5 stars with that kind of false advertisement. Maybe they're paying for reviews.
