I have the opportunity to make sure that my writing is plagiarism free, and with a lot of AI generated content around, I can ensure my writing does not get flagged as just another to the bunch.
I do technical writing where there are only so many ways to describe concepts and ideas. However, Originality.ai gives me the opportunity to personalize my writing even more, which is an advantage. With some time, I can give my content a sense of uniqueness.
I also like the added tools, Fact check and others, which I will test.

Despite an initial glitch which was quickly resolved, OriginalityAI does everything it says on the tin and does it particularly well compared to other tools that promise the same and at a reasonable cost. The detection of AI written text and the Plagiarism checker were both very helpful to me.

Originality is always so quick to respond to my questions and lend a helping hand. Very good tool for detecting Chat GPT use on academic papers, especially with the "view writing" feature which shows the text being typed by the student as they were typing it.

AI is accurate compared to free choices and the support staff like Ellie are very helpful. The interfacte is easy to use and shows a % chance of the work being AI. Also, nice that it shows what parts may be AI or not.

Promptness of reply and transparency about what the software can and can't do was really impressive and helpful...though I have to say, that it would be nice if the tool were more definitive about the "origins" of scanned text...seems like A LOT of gray area. When I scanned work I KNEW to be original, it only barely shaded into the area "likely original."

Originality's AI checker and plagiarism detector are absolutely phenomenal—by far the best I have used (yes, I used all of Winston, GPT zero, etc.). The Turbo mode is CRAZY good! It does feel ultra-sensitive, though, but nonetheless, I think it beats most tools out there. I used W's AI checker to scan an article I generated in Gemini and edited in chapGPT, and W's AI checker said it was 100 human generated. Meanwhile, Originality's lite-mode said it was 86% AI, while Turbo mode came back and said it was 100% AI generated, which was accurate. Bottom line: it can be a little harsh though, but it does the job of accurately finding what's AI-generated and forcing you to be creative and be the best version of yourself. I'm committing to life-long use.

Meanwhile, support was phenomenal. Ellie was very timely, courteous, and responsive in attending to my questions. Highly recommend!!!
