Otto is the only online company I use for large items electric goods any problems with any item has always been dealt with and returns accepted.

At home we call Otto "uncle Otto" as when I had very
little it was the only way I could grant my children's wishes.

False discounts, they cost as much as elsewhere without a discount, at a normal price. My mom ordered a lot of things, she thought how much money she saved, they haven't arrived yet, so I can't comment on that. These -50-60% are all bullshit, just deceiving customers.

I’ve lived in Germany for 6 years. I recently moved from one city to another. I decided to buy most of items I need for my new apartment on Otto. Before this, I had never shopped on Otto but I had heard a lot about this platform. I also decided why not patronise a German brand. Since then, Otto has caused me only nightmares. From late deliveries, to no delivery at all, to refusing to process refunds and just blatantly lying, I have experienced it all in the last 4 weeks. I had to re-order most of these items on Amazon. I have received these orders and started using them. Otto has still not delivered and still not refunded.

Whatever voice that told me to shop with Otto will never find me listening to it ever again. Hell!!!

One day you will have to make a decision. To shop for your product either on Otto or another e-commerce platform like Amazon. You should silence the voice that tells you to shop Otto or you will experience only hell.

Not correct and not professional

I find Otto is one absolutely not professional and not correct seller, it’s not enough they put dates of receiving your purchase from the moment you choose your articles to make your plans and know how much time you need and I specifically ordered something directly from them and not third seller to be sure they have this in warehouse and then starts the lying- every time when it comes near to the final date of delivering they change it right away for weeks more longer ! I ordered something in November ( German product, Otto direct seller) and delivery is changed for third time now for the end of January! I don’t recommend Otto at all, you can only break your nerves and never get what you ordered

We generally do everything we can to adhere to the stated delivery times. However, we are also dependent on the manufacturers and suppliers, which means that delivery delays can never be completely avoided.

Otto grants wishes that other companies do not

Otto is the only online company I use for large items electric goods any problems with any item has always been dealt with and returns accepted.

Unfair Shipping Policy and Lack of Transparency

I recently placed an order with Otto for six items, but I was extremely disappointed with their shipping policy. The order was shipped in four separate parcels, and I was charged shipping fees for each one. This was not explicitly clear at the time of checkout and only became visible in the confirmation email after the order was placed.

The shipping costs ranged from €3 to €5 per parcel, which is unacceptable. Customers should be informed upfront if an order will be split into multiple shipments and charged separately. Charging multiple shipping fees on a €125 order is not fair to the customer and not how online business should be conducted.

After 3 years bill 1300

After moving to another country for 3 years, I am receiving a debt collection (INKASSO!!) bill from Germany because a purchase was not paid for 3 years ago (which was paid for), Otto no longer has any evidence because it was too long ago and he wants to do nothing else with it. Not obvious, but after 3 years, asking 1300 euros for something that cost 300 euros and was paid for. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm definitely not done with you yet. You can send the bill via inkasso, but cant have you administration/evidence right.

No money collected, sent to debt collectors

I bought a mirror beginning of this year and I assumed the money came out of my bank account, like in all online shops I’ve ever used. I received some emails after a while asking me for money which looked like spam to me. After another while I received a letter from debt collectors and it sounded surreal to me. I then transferred the money to Otto, which they returned back to my bank account and the finance team never responded to my emails asking why it was returned. The more time followed the higher of course the debt was growing l, whilst I was waiting for answers from Otto finance team. I today ended up having to pay double the amount than the item I purchased was valued.
I got recommended by the customer service team to pay the amount to debt collectors and open a new Otto account.
Definitely not returning as a customer. Very sad it ended like this

Awful Delivery. Not recommended. Try Amazon.

They sent the furniture through Hermes. It says in the website they were supposed to deliver it to my apartment, but left the furniture downstairs and left, told me either I sign or send the furniture back. Awful. Never ordering from them as long as Hermes is their delivery partner. Complained but they did nothing about it. Sent an email too. But gave me a weird reply. Do not recommend anyone who does not speak German.

I tried to order a Nintendo Switch from Otto, as my first purchase experience with them. I live in Germany and have done for several years. I have no debts, but they keep cancelling my order right after it's made. I work full time. It's ridiculous. I just bought the Nintendo from Media Markt because it was literally instant and no hassle at all. Otto wasted my time.

OTTO SCAMMED ME FOR 2.800€

We bought 2 iPhones from OTTO.de store and after a while we returned them using the return labels provided by OTTO.
After more than 1 month and half, they ignored all my emails, didn't want to help me and told me to just wait, that the devices are currently INSPECTED.
Well, almost after 2 months, I got an email from them saying that they got 2 empty boxes and that I won't get my money back.
When I ask them for pictures of the package, for proofs of what they received, they just ignore my emails. I tried to contact Hermes several times but no replies from them. Now I am without money and phones.
Oh, also Otto asked me for the receipt when you send the packages, I sent it to them and after that they started to ignore me again.
Scammers and scammers.

EDIT: I contacted kreditcenter for more than 30 times, 0 replies, nothing.

Even ashamed to give a single star

Even ashamed to give a single star, i opted Lastschrift payment and ended paying 270€ for a perfume worth 32€ shame on them for running such an insensible and useless service.
