It's a big scam. They put lien on the house if you get their services. They promise for lot of things but you won't get anything. Still waiting for the rebate that was promise 3 years ago. When I started my service I was paying $40 by weekly but all of the sudden my payments went upto $81 by weekly, from 2.99% it went up to 11.99%. Please avoid this company.

This company made promises and they didn't follow through on. It takes many tries and perserverance to finally get a hold of anyone and all you get is the run around and empty promises. They owe me an $8,000.00 rebate wich I have on paper and when I do get to talk to someone they say that the rebate section is working on it and someone will call me. I have had my work done going on 1.5 years and still no rebate.

Flee from Provincial Smart Home

Assuming it s possible to give this company a -5 stars I would. Please beware of Provincial Smart Home. It’s a scam company. They will scam you and run. They would promise a government rebate, scam you of your hard earned money and flee. We are a victim and it’s very painful.

OUR Experience with Provincial Home

OUR Z
Ok, I guess we are another couple that got scamed by this company. When my husband was contacted by phone by Adelle Javid 647-594-7770 He agreed to have them come out to see him.
The person explained everything on a piece of paper saying that we would get a 10,000.00 rebate from the Government and then only have to pay 160.00 per mth. for the heat pump water tank and doorbell. My husband agreed and sent a void check to a company as he was told. We were to have a government auditor come to inspect our home to see if we qualify for the rebate.
The next day, Provincial came to our home to dimantle and replace the equipment we have to the above mentioned appliances.
At 2:00 that same afternoon an government inspector showed up and was not please that Provincial was already setting up the new equipment.
It took 3-1/2 months to receive this information. In the meantime, we continued to call provincial concerning the interest free loan info that was to be suppled but to no avail. Now the phone number we call Adelle Javid goes immediately to voicemail
This company is operating a scam on people and need to be stopped. We will be contacting the Fraud line for the OPP but we are still left with a 19,000.00 plus interest of 10-1/2 % over 10 years which will end up being over 32,000.00 for this equipment. Buyer beware is all I can say. The company who Took on this Loan, Vault pay says there is nothing they can do as they took on this loan in good faith. They also told us that they have had many of the same calls of this nature and that they are sorry for our trouble.

There is a group trying to get things arranged to go after these fraudsters.
There is also an MCoulter doing a piece on these crooks for the Toronto Star. We need to get together en masse and make things ugly for these thieves so they don't get to scam any more people

Defective Tankless Water Heater

Provincial Smart Home services installed a tankless water heater in my home, on March 3, 2024. Had no hot water on August 25/24. After many, many phone calls I finally got someone on the phone. They promised a technician would come within a day. After many more calls, and no hot water, I finally had a service technician on September 9/24 who got it working, but he said I needed a new mother board and it would be ordered right away. Finally September 12 he showed up and installed the mother board. Now upon looking closer, my heat exchanger has mold and moisture. Says I need a new unit. Plus the fact that this dangerous. Now, after many more calls - between Sept. 16 and Oct 14th - promises, promises - never fulfilled. It was supposed to be delivered on October 10th. for sure. Nope - not delivered - no message about a different date. NOTHING - Now when I call the company, it says this number is not in service. So they have scammed me with a defective tankless water heater - never did received my Enbridge pay out, or my Bill Credit.
Always promises, promises, but no action. Also, you can't email them because they never answer an email. What a scam!!!
