Today I went to the Shoppers Drug Mart- Canada Post to send a registered mail to India. The sweet girl at the counter treated me very well. Being a Senior citizen, I had several questions about how long it will take for this mail to reach India, how to track the item and other related matters. However, the girl- her name is HAJIRA- took enough time and patience to answer all my questions patiently. I am so impressed by her customer service. I am sure she will be an asset to Shoppers Drug Mart at Chinguacousy and Sandalwood branch (10661 Chinguacousy Rd). I rate her with a 5 STAR for her courteousness and service.
excellent job Hajira !!!!

NEVER purchase gift cards from Shopper’s Drug Store 579 Lakeshore Rd E. Cards have been scammed. I am now dealing with Amazon to get compensation for 3 Amazon cards worth $200 each that were purchased at this location. Shopper’s management showed ZERO interest in helping me or in making changes within the store to deal with this issue.

I went to Shoppers Drug Mart at 11965 Hurontario St. Brampton ON L6Z4P7 to buy some perfumes by redeeming my PC Points but was very disappointed because I got very poor service from the staff at the counter. I told her that I am a senior citizen but she didn’t care. My experience at the store was horrible and will never go to this store again. May be they treat the customers who want to get something by redeeming their PC Points and not the cash customers. Really disappointing because some staff members give a bad reputation to a reputable organization

On Tuesday, January 7, a prescription signed by my doctor was submitted to the pharmacy desk at the Owen Sound East store. Staff indicated the product would be filled by Friday - we were assured the product was available at their warehouse and staff inquired about the preferred flavour. When we called on Thursday to re-arrange the refill schedule - no problem. On Sunday (today) staff indicated there was 'no such order in their system'. the prescription has been lost and we need to start over again getting a new doctors signed script.
Exceedingly sloppy and unprofessional with no accountability.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE
Shoppers gets 0 stars for customer service.
Please don’t buy gift cards here. I have been buying gift cards the last few years every month and spending at least a 1,000$. For my son’s stocking I bought what I thought was a gas gift card for esso. The card has not been used and turns out to be discount card. Of course the “not a gift card” is in small lettering and in the same print color. Shoppers sent me to their 1-800 number which I waited online 1.5 hours two separate times combined to get no help. No exchanges or refund. I had receipt and cards in perfect condition also.
I also really wish customer service people would stop apologizing when they are not able to provide any help to a misleading product they have in their store. IF ITs Not A Gift Card Why The Heck Is It With The Gift Cards???????

I will no longer be shopping here. The least shoppers could have done was direct me to call esso.

I did decide to call Esso and explained the situation. With little hassle it looks as they will be helping me.

I had an extremely frustrating experience

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Shoppers Drug Mart’s online return process and their in-store customer service. I ordered the Ozdust eyeshadow palette on November 30th (Order #902029690), and it didn’t arrive until mid-December—too late for the event I originally planned to use it for. I decided to return the item, but the process has been unnecessarily complicated and inconsistent.

When I inquired about returning the item in-store for convenience, I was told by the Morinville, AB location that I could only receive store credit instead of a full refund. This policy was not clearly outlined anywhere, and it feels unreasonable and restrictive, especially given the shipping delays caused by Canada Post during that time, which were beyond my control. I then chose to ship the item back using the provided return label, but the package has been sitting in Edmonton since January 3rd with no resolution.

Despite the delays and misinformation I received from in-store staff, Shoppers Drug Mart is now deducting a shipping fee from my refund. This feels unacceptable, especially since I was refused a proper refund in-store and was forced to ship the item back. I was also told I would only be refunded if I mailed it back, which is inconsistent with their stated policy.

To make matters worse, their response to my complaints (Case #20329921) has been dismissive, and there seems to be a lack of accountability or clarity in their return policies. I’ve asked for the shipping fee to be waived and for a full refund, but so far, no one has addressed these issues properly.

This entire experience has been disappointing, and I urge Shoppers Drug Mart to improve their communication, train their staff better on return policies, and streamline their processes to avoid inconveniencing their customers. I will think twice before shopping here again unless these issues are resolved.

Writing a review about the worst…

Writing a review about the worst passport photography and customer experience I had ever with Shoppers.

Issuing a passport for my new born baby, I had to take photos first at shoppers Midtown Mall in Saskatoon, the photos got rejected from Canada service because there is shadows in the white background, I have waited like 2 hours in line to get in Canada service, i did refund.

I took another time new photos at shoppers Market mall, also after waiting like 2 hours to access service canada, the photos got rejected again because they were highly exposed to light which do not pass on the system .

Moreover, when I passed by to refund they claims that I paid with another credit card making me open my bank account application and show the transfer that I made from my own card.

Of course, The refund is not satisfying me, i had lost 4 hours waiting time, like 20$ fuel going back and forth. Every time asking my guarantor to sign on the back of the photos (now this will be the third time, and those are additional commuting).

This is really the worth experience ever for me with a non professional staff, please if you don’t know how to take photos don’t sell this service. My review here is to get you know that, but i will not stop here, I will tell my story on elsewhere on multiple social media and channels until i see how you will react to fix this.

I received a $10 coupon # 2237841 good until Jan 9/25 from your stores in Owen Sound at 1183 16 st. A few days later I tried to redeem it at the other store in Owen Sound at100 10th St West and they wouldn't honor it. The said I had to go back to the store that issued it even though the coupon said it can be redeemed at any shoppers drug mart. I am a senior and the clerk, after contacting the manager, made me feel very embarrassed as there was a long line waiting behind me. You need to train you staff better. We seniors do a lot of shopping at you store and I would expect better treatment.

Employee needs attitude adjustment

Shoppers on Kerr st Oakville
I asked a sales person for help finding something only to be told that she was on her break!!! (She didn’t even look at me) I was flabbergasted! When I got to the cash the Assistant Manager was on cash and I told him that an employee needed an attitude adjustment and I described her to him. She is the Manager! 🤬 she needs to find a job away from the public.
If you are going to shop while on your break don’t do it in your uniform.

Poor costumer service

I was at the store today December 27/24 around noon, I took nail polish, there were just few left and the price was $12 with some change. I bought one just before Christmas and I was told that they were on sale because they were discontinued. So today I thought I will buy another one in different colour because of the good quality and price. I was charged $23 and then I mentioned that the price on the shelf was different, she said that computer shows $23. When I ask if she can confirm about the price she said, No… and then she said “ Do you want it or not? “ I was like WOW! What a rude service. Well, I said, no thanks, not when the product is on sale, why should I pay the full price…. She didn’t even offer to go with me and check the price to make sure. Seriously, I never had that experience before ever because when ask about the price of any product anywhere else, always the sales clerk will make sure the price is correct. Except at Shoppers Drug Mart at Southcentre Calgary Ab… poor costumer service, to lose sale like that

Purchase could not be refunded

I purchased a blanket for my daughter for Christmas at the Shoppers Drug Mart st the Dream Centre in Edmonton, AB on November 28,2024. The total of my bill was $195.41. I told the clerk it was a Christmas gift. On Christmas my daughter received another blanket and did not need the one I purchased. I took it back on Dec 26 2024 for a refund or exchange and was told by the tall young man on the til no Christmas purchases could be returned from the aisle that held specialty Christmas items. I was not told this when I purchased the item and I went back to that aisle today and there was no sign today either. My daughter and I get all of our prescriptions and many other items at this store but I will be thinking twice about other items in the future. This young man was extremely rude and would not listen to a word I had to say. The store was not busy and there was no reason for the way he treated me

Upon walking into the shoppers at burhamthorpe and 427 found a girl in makeup doing nothing, no customers anywhere and asked for a Kleenex. It was on obviously too much work to help me, she pretty much told me no on the spot and walked away. While the prices keep going up the quality of service is abysmal.

Rude Customer Another SPECIAL ONE !

I was in Shoppers at Lake vista ( south end Oshawa ) Saturday morning and witnessed just a awful abuse from a woman customer ( id say in her 40s ). The older Cashier was putting lottery tickets in the lottery board when this woman came to the counter and just started to load many items onto the counter. The cashier asked her nicely to give her a second to put the board away. The Rude Black woman just started to push her items towards the Cashier which actually hit the cashier. Then I could not believe what I heard next, The Black woman replied I am not here to buy tickets, then she says to the cashier I know you, You are just a Racist B.! I could tell by the Cashiers look on her face that this hurt her. I have been in this store many times in the last 10 years. I have seen this cashier many times, always cheerful, and always helping customers!. this was witnessed by other customers and also another shoppers employee. Karen I do not know how you do it! This Rude woman ( I am being very polite calling her a woman ) should not be allowed in this store or any SDM store. Its just another example of CANADA Gone to HELL!

Unfriendly Black Woman pharmacist maybe

The Black Lady who I believe is a pharmacist was quite unfriendly and I'm a black woman and I was bubbly and so on expecting somewhat of the same from her. I also experienced an unfriendly East Indian man who I believe is also a pharmacist. They really have to try better they are not superior to others as it seems they think they are. A smile is tender way to lift people up. The Black lady is very pretty but not superior, sometimes people forget who they are. Remember who walked before them and why it is possible for them to be here. Enough said, yes today I'm an unhappy customer....

Will never order online again

Shopping at a physical store would give 5 stars but as far as shopping online they are pathetic. During the mail strike they mentioned would be using alternative carriers to deliver so ordered only to find out they used Canada Post to ship so was stuck there. Got in touch with them and said pull it out and send to our local store by name to be ignored. Turns out the alternative shipping method was to select postal codes that they never made metion of when ordering. Now told can expect perhaps start of next year. As a shipping label is scanned when picked up see ours is still sitting at Shoppers so good luck to us ever seeing as Canada Post began picking up 2 days ago from companies.

Shoppers drug Mart has a huge selection…

Shoppers drug Mart has a huge selection of Chanel products and that’s fabulous but unfortunately not one single piece of Chanel wrapping paper ribbons or bags nothing that actually says Chanel so you’re paying the same amount for the products if you go down to Yorkdale or another store where they give you the Chanel bag and a ribbon and I just think it’s a rip off When the bags are really part of the whole Chanel experience and they give you the shoppers drug Mart bag and I think that’s wrong !

Dangerous design

Email I sent, this review is to make others aware

Hello, I am emailing you today to inform you of your dangerous product design for Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol 70%. I am shocked and concerned with your dangerous product. The bottle was bumped and fell from maybe 2 feet off of a side table causing the very top of the lid to blow right off and the liquid was everywhere!!!! Not only could I hardly breathe while cleaning it up, I burn candles and I have 3 cats who are always by their mom's side, by divine intervention alone they were not close by when this happened. Had one of them ingested or had this splash in their face I would be filing a lawsuit for dangerous packaging. To add the fire that could have ignited from the alcohol, YIKES!!! I strongly suggest you come up with a safer design ASAP and please put proper email addresses on your packages as well, they are not valid which is why I had no other choice other than searching up your product to submit a form.

I will be posting a review sharing this dangerous experience

Disappointing

Every year I personally purchase or gift perfume discovery boxes. Normally, the sample bottle are miniature replicas of the larger bottles. This year, it’s the samples spray bottles you get for free at Sephoras and to top it off, they’re half full. The certificate can only be redeemed for a 50 ml bottle, which is less than $170 (tax included). So it’s cheaper to buy the bottle that you want rather than this dinky set. Total scam and disappointment.
