Called several different companies to refinance my auto loan. All of the hoops they wanted me to go through and back-and-forth. It just wasn’t worth it. I reached out to SoFi in a matter of minutes I was approved and I paid the entire car off. I don’t have to pay their auto loan refinance fee. I don’t have to go the hassle the other companies wanted me to go through. It was straight forward and easy. I’ve already paid off my SoFi loan in a matter of a couple months. I will be using them again in the near future. On top of my loan, I also switched over my bank accounts to only use them. Their savings interest rate is incredible! Also, they Make dipping my toes in the water for stocks easy as possible.

I was referred to Sofi for their referral program, through which we both were to get a referral bonus within 7 days. Now they are saying we have to wait 21 days. Hands down, the worst customer experience and no one seems to know the requirements of their own referral program.

I am SO thankful for SoFi. I had no credit card debt until I had my baby. I chose to stay home with him and take a year off work and acquired debt over that time. I am an RN and make a great income, but the CC interest was making me feel like I was drowning and couldn’t get ahead. I applied for multiple consolidation loans and didn’t get approved until I found SoFi. I now have a plan to pay off all my debt, at a rate I can comfortably afford, and no longer wake up with my throat feeling tight thinking I’ll be in debt forever. I’ll recommend them to everyone!

I was doing a rewards thing from a link off of a mobile game and they claimed that SoFi would do a 100% free credit check that would not effect my credit score and it would also look at all my expenses and help me save money and build a better credit. When I tried to go through the link it gathered all my personal information and refused to fallow through with the offer. I contacted SoFi customer service to find out what was going on and all I got was someone trying to pimp me a bank account offer like a car salesman.

I've had an account with them for about 6 months, all of a sudden I get a notification that my account is restricted and under review.
They are preventing any deposits or withdrawal with 0 information as to why or when it will be fixed.
Typical barely English speaking support with no actual information at all.
Stay with a bank that has actual locations.

When I contacted SoFi customer service, my call was routed to a call center in Nicaragua. While they were courteous, easy to understand, and successfully resolved an issue with my SoFi-linked bank, the fact that they operated outside U.S. jurisdiction left me uneasy about entrusting my life savings to SoFi.

I refinanced my student loan with SoFi in early January 2025 and although the loan was promptly funded (of course the company is willing to collect interest as soon as possible), my original loan also serviced by SoFi is still not paid off. It has now been 16 business days which exceeds the estimated payoff time stated in official loan documents. I'm now being charged double interest.

It seems to me that the company is focused on standing up too many ancillary financial services businesses to satisfy investors and elevate stock price. This results in a lack of focus on basic customer service quality. For example, my main dashboard app page now includes both loans in my net worth calculation. It's just a mess. A few days is ok, but weeks in this limbo period is absolutely unacceptable. Go with a different provider for your refinance.

They are absolutely horrible with freezing my account for “fraudulent purchases” when I’m abroad and refuse to assist to fix it and allow me to make purchases. You will be left stranded in a foreign country with no debit card for cash if you use this card. I got it for the zero foreign transaction fee, but that’s useless.

Applying for a loan was easy and fast. I did not get approved on my own, but I understand why. I applied with my son and immediately was approved for a substantial amount. Thanks to this loan, I am able to smile again and plan my payments to dig myself out of the hole I felt for been irresponsible. I am happy now and thanks to SoFi. Planning to move my checking to SoFi soon.

The process was so smooth and such a great experience. It was very streamlined. I applied and got my pre-approval within seconds. The next step was to review my loan options and select what I felt fit my life style. Finally, I provided a picture of my drivers license and I got the formal offer, I accepted and within 24hrs I had the funds in my account. I was a little skeptical as the process was unlike any other loan process I have experienced before. I have since paid off my credit card balances and my credit score has jumped 65pts!
