This airline has terrible customer service. They destroyed our edition luggage and wanted to compensate with 20€. Save yourself time and money. Book somewhere else!

Totally damaged suitcase reimbursed with only €20.
Sundair totaled my suitcase, and because they insist that I should present a receipt for the purchase from 3 years ago—which I can't—they will only compensate the suitcase with a value of over €150 with €20.
I don't expect the suitcase to be reimbursed at the value of a new suitcase, but I would expect a depreciated assessment of the price/value.
DO NOT BOOK WITH SUNDAIR—THEY DON'T GIVE A S**T!!!

DO NOT book “Comfort” as it does not exist. €30 per person and there is no extra leg room available in the whole plane. Budget airline almost as good as a bus.

Airline uses old and not well maintained Air Berlin plane. Flight time is inflated, so the actual delays are covered and you arrive "on-time". Minimal food offering in the plane, literally no service. Online Check-In not possible, massive overweight surcharge. Website is rock bottom basic. My luggage was damaged so I filed a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). Followed up with the report, couldn't reach anyone by phone, they just drop you out of their hotline. When I eventually did after long waiting time, they claimed they never got the PIR and my deadline to notify them has passed. Borderline scam airline, book someone else who follows rules, standards & law.

Never again. ... at the counter charged me 150€ extra by forcing me to separate my sportluggage into two pieces. No other airline ever complained. Not even is the sportsluggage more expensive with this airline in the first place but they do also rip off customers by offering less by enforcing stupid made up policies. Hopefully going bankrupt soon. Tell your friends or whatever.

It's a very bad airline and I don't recommend it to anyone, I flew by SundAir from Dusseldorf airport to Beirut, at Beirut airport I didn't receive my baggage because they had sent it on another plane, ten days later they didn't reply to my emails To them, when I phoned SUNDAIR the employee was very rude and told me "you can't get your bag back, go to a lawyer".

Catastrophe!
It is one of the worst companies ever! Customer service is a notion they have never ever heard of! Their customer service is soo rude! he talks to people as if they were cows or pigs... I recommend everyone to avoid this company!

This is a very biased review. After reading the majority of the reviews that are bad, I tried Sundair airlines from Düsseldorf to Beirut. For a 110 euros direct flight including 25 KG luggage and carry-on, the flight was very smooth, the hostesses were very friendly, the pilots were very skilled.
Food and beverages are served for an additional on-board cost, the plane interior is old and could use a bit of cleaning and renovation.
But for a 100 euros charter direct flight, I would definitely use it again.

I had a flight booked to the canaries. This became a covid risk area and I couldn't take the flight any longer. Further more Sundair changed the flight schedule so it also wouldn't have been possible for me to take the flight even without covid. Sundair didn't offer a change of the booking or a refund. Didn't take the flight and didn't get any money back. Not even taxes. Customer support was super unfriendly.

This was the worst flight I’ve ever been on.
This trip was a disaster. First of all I had a 2 hours delay and not to mention the bad boarding service. On the plane no one was wearing a mask during the pandemic even though I kindly asked the flight attendant if it’s possible to speak up. Bad hygiene and worst service.
Not recommended at all.

I saw that people before me had the same complaint. We booked a direct flight from Bremen to Heraklion and stopped un Rhodos. We decided to only book a non-stop flight since we wanted to avoid human contact as much as possible. However, in Rhodos some passengers left the airplane and new passengers joined. That is absolutely unacceptable. Nothing was communicated. I literally heard about the stop in Rhodes when I entered the plane. This airline operates like a bus with stops on the way. The only difference is that on a bus at least I know how many stops to expect before entering...

The only reason I chose this flight is that it offered a direct flight from Heraklion to Bremen (I don't even live in Heraklion but in Chania so I had to travel there) and because I want to avoid unnecessary transitions (at the moment where covid patients are increasing). So, my only criteria was the duration of the flight and the fact that there is no connection. A couple days before the departure and without being asked, the company decided to first stop in Rhodes which is completely in the wrong direction where we had to leave the aircraft and wait to be cleaned. So, to make it clear, the only reason that I booked this flight is the fact that it was direct since there is a global PANDEMIC. Just to make more money I was exposed in unnecessary risk, while feeling as a hostage in this detour that I never agreed. I expect my full refund and additional compensation for this incredible inconvenience.

Flight canceld. Can happen. But not paying back seats reservation charging 120€ for that is inacceptable. Customer Relation does not respond since 8 weeks. I am going to pass over this to my attorney next week.

Nice new German Airline. I take the 3. Fligth from Kassel to Heraklion and five days later back! On both flight we have a good Pilot und a very nice Crew. The Airplane is good. next year I fly again!
