Had an internal transfer of funds already in the bank's possession scheduled for the 15th. Three days later it still shows as "processing." Clearly they are just holding onto your funds to earn interest on the float.
In my other bank, internal transfers happen overnight.
It's even worse if you are transferring funds from another bank. Then it takes five days.

I cannot believe middle management is unaware of their own failure to serve customers. Numerous with LCs and other business issues. We applied for an additional TD business credit card for one of our employees on Jan 10. It is now Mar 14th. Have spoken to 3 different acct mngrs with the promise to complete the task. Still nothing. Called again today to leave VM and 5 hrs later received email they have arranged another tel appointment 5 days from now with a different account mngr. I asked our admin dept today to see how difficult it will be to switch our banking to another to another bank. I refuse to deal anymore with this incompetence.

But I see these days, there is a long que of customers, front lines are overwhelmed to setve them, and managers with other staff are gossiping, loughing, enjoying, they don't bother to give hand to serve customer.
I had to wait 1 hour just to rech the cashier stand. So frustrating.
Absolutely dissatisfied. Almost lost my house waiting for bank to approve my mortgage while they were lying about approving until last day. They are easily pay my money to unauthorized company and I have to fight to return my money back. Don鈥檛 recommend to anyone!

Disrespect
I have been a customer of this bank for 30 years, and I was tolerant to multiple occasions of mistakes, disrespect and brushing off behaviour.
Came for assistance to my branch, they forwarded me to customer service. Customer service contact me after 3 days, and told me to go back to my branch, which I did. At my branch they told me to contact customer service again. This is only one example of disrespect. My branch has several workers that would go above and beyond to assist customers but few bad one ruined all good impressions created by compassionate workers.
After 30 years, have to consider other bank to do my business with.

Worst bank service when you travel
I have been with TD from the past 13 years, recently I found it offers worst service if I have to use TD debit card while travelling. It does not work as expected.
Do not trust this bank while you are in Europe particularly. My minor kid suffered a lot without sufficient funds. the Bank does not even bothered to help us out when we visited the bank with the problem.
The bank(Merivale branch) staff does not know how to solve the problem. They gave us all false information prior to my kids travel.
I have all investments and mortgage with them, I think it is time to say good bye to the bank.
If there is a problem if they can't solve it then there is no point doing business with them.

Worst bank ever to deal with
Worst bank ever to deal with. They suspend my debit card every time I tried making online purchases. They freeze account so all of your auto payments freeze and get returned. Everything is fraud to them. Dumbest people on banking.

Worst experience I've had with a bank
Worst experience I've had with a bank. I opened a checking and a savings account on 3/7/25, I used a cashier's check for the checking and cash for the savings. On 3/8/25 I received an email telling me that "your available balance has exceeded our overdraft treshold of -$50. Which means you may receive an overdraft fee". I went to the bank to find out what is going on, They decided that the cashier's check is fraudulent and don't want me as a customer and closed both accounts. I can't get my money back for another 15 days. I have to go back on Monday to see a manager. This is shameful!!

Complete scumbag criminals. Withdrawing/ depositing funds to other accounts without authorization on multiple occasions spanning decades. Attempted theft of over 215,000 of our families money. Unauthorized credit checks. Deletion of credit cards without notification. Never mind laundering billions of dollars of cartel Drug Money. The service is bad , they made in my account by mixing my SSN number with someone else and also my name , change my PIN .. he took them a while to fixed it , and sure never did bank open manager not present to assist you have to come back the next day when the manager is present ,

They do not process direct deposit
They do not process direct deposit , was waiting about important government funds that were to come in as it is used to pay rent and everything but td鈥檚 does not allow direct deposite on saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday which means it needs to be done on monday or tuesday to receive it on thrusday or friday but otherwise direct deposits takes over a week which is worse than trash really uterly disapointed!!

So bad and hear me out
So bad, the customer service # is such a hassle, you'll never to rarely have a chance to talk to anyone who can actually help you, you'll be entering the same information that 9/10 the customer service bot read incorrectly and will ask you to put it again! I'll tell you right now when I got some down time, MY TD bank accounts will be terminated and go elsewhere with my banking, a truly frustrating expierence

Go to a credit union and dump TD No - TRUST. bunch of scammers. *Actually many former TD staff are doing that- closing their accounts and moving to a better, safer option to invest as they have become aware that this bank cares zero about its Canadian customers.

Terminated our account including all credit cards February 2017, because TD closed our branch here in Saskatchewan.
Now, Feb.2025 we got a letter, we have to pay fees,if we don't use our visa card(???)
Couldn't solve the problem with the provided phone number and were told to go to our branch. Really pissed off!!! Almost 8 years later!!! Not a bank I would recommend...
