App almost never worked. Never got notifications for motion on my cameras. The system would be armed but app would say it was disarmed. The "24/7" monitoring was completely useless. We had our alarm go off for a solid ten to fifteen minutes from a tripped motion sensor by my cat (which we were told wouldn't set it off) without a single phone call. Don't waste your money. Spend the extra amount to get a better system.

NOT so pet friendly motion detector. I forget ONE TIME to lock the cat away in the bathroom and he triggered the motion detector. To make matters worst, I did not respond to the call about the alarm, as the call was from an unknown caller and went straight to voice mail. Result, the police was dispatched for no reason. Although it is good to know my police service reacts quite fast, hopefully this waste of time for them won't affect negatively any future response time when it is truly needed... The person that helped me set up the system was nice enough, but told me to put their 1-855 number in my contacts so that I would know when they called. Unfortunately, the number they specifically told me to put in my phone was NOT the one they called from when the alarm was triggered! That one is a 1-866 number. I was pretty mad. So any good review I would have given has been quite dampened by that event. They should give the right info upon setup. And stop the false advertisement about the "pet friendly" motion detector.
I was a long term customer with a very simple system. Never had issues. Now we upgraded to have more features in a new house. So far everything seems fine the person who walked me through the installation was great as was the rep who answered all pre purchase questions. Only disappointment is the cameras need power from an outlet which is an issue in our case. Would love it if they sold smart locks as well.

The transition from our older system (3G8 to my new updated system (5G) was actually quite smooth with the help of the technicians! It did take a bit of time but we were able to do it when it suited us (evenings). We are happy with the equipment and find it very user friendly. Their customer service is very good as well. I would happily recommend this company!

Very recently installed a Think Protection alarm system... so far, so good! I have a few questions about app functionality, which is just due to me getting used to how it works, but other than that—all good!
It's an easy to install DIY system, guided (on the phone) by a Think Pro technician who clearly and patiently takes you through all the necessary steps.
Customer service reps were friendly and didn't try to upsell when I making the initial purchase.
The system itself (and its accompanying app) is easy to use and can be expanded to include home automation, etc.

Took a long time to set up - lots of calls and delay
Not registered with Police - taking a long time to receive an email for this to get set up.
Found out the sensor in our basement is not working.
Called to change the sensor name. Spoke to a representative and then it was not done.

I was impressed by Customer Service and would have to recommend Think Protection. There were a few minor difficulties with my initial order and beck order but everything was addressed and dealt with in good time. As an existing customer with wired system I expected that my system would be inactivated automatically when my wireless system started but that did not happen and we dealt with it by calling support. It would have been a nice touch if new system would include a backplate to cover the wired system touchpad area because that looks grotesque when removed and ismissing any paint. Putting a pin pad in the middle of unpainted border would look silly.

The technician was really good at install guidance. Garage door tilt sensor and pin pad did not work though. Literature that people can read up on before actual install would be helpful and fasten the process.

I needed to upgrade my 4 year system after moving to a larger home. The flexibility in doing so including some free transition months, device discounting and excellent customer service by folks like Shacquan did more than just ease the process. Your customer service is the worse I have ever come across. I had a family member die and was busy trying to arrange things for her funeral. My Costco MasterCard had been changed to CIBC. They were not able to get in touch with me due to the death. The person that I spoke with was very rude and I would never recommend Think Protection to anyone. I'm currently looking for another provider. As soon as I get one I'm cancelling their awful service.

We had an issue with the Costco CCs and they would not allow us to simply move the monthly fee over between banks; this happened on hundreds of accounts and the team did their best to get ahold of people and fix the matter. We listened to the call and while I am sure we could have handled the issue better/ been more empathetic, the advisor was professional.
