Don't bother to contact them on Whatsapp
You would expect a corporation such as Vattenfall to have a team for customer support that is kind and moreover responsive... well think twice. To put it shortly, unless you have no problem waiting a minimum of 2 days for a person to get on the other end of the chat only to ask you about authentication information followed by another two-day break before being asked about the reason for contacting, nevermind trying to figure out a solution than Whatsapp is the way to go.
I've tried both Whatsapp and calling customer service. Whatsapp would be more convenient if there was someone taking care of it, however, if you want things to be done call them. Customer service reps were (in my experience) nice and helpful, WhatsApp on the other hand takes ages and gives no concrete answer.

I have a contract with Vatenfall for about 3 years, but unfortunately I gave up on this supplier because they are real thieves. I installed solar panels and asked for a lower subscription, but they raised the price much more than what I have now. Stay away from this supplier because you have to pay for a meter of gas almost 3 euros ... how is this possible???

Extremely disappointed, after 3 years with them, we want to renew for 3 years, the answer given is a much higher rate than our old subscription.
What's more, they list a lower price on their site, and when we asked for the same rate, the answer was only for new customers, so loyal customers pay more... We insist that we want the same rate, but to no avail. Once again, the answer is: that's how it is in the energy business, lunar... We immediately get in touch with the fraud authorities, to find out if it's legal to offer a lower rate on their site and give us a higher one when we ask for a renewal. to be continued!

Regarding the gas and electricity costs, the price has fallen in recent days. I asked Vapenfall a few questions by e-mail about whether they can adjust the price or switch, but unfortunately I have not received a response, tried to contact vattenfall
via WhatsApp communication which is mentioned online was ridiculously tried to call customer service.
The customer service has explained me verbally, but I still made a request to confirm in writing by email, unfortunately this is not done yet and will not happen from experience, probably there is something behind it that they won't to make it public.

The website rejected my meter reading submission to terminate the contract because it said I submitted the wrong amount (lower than they expected). After that, I tried several ways to submit the meter reading again. The company charged me extra for using more than I paid for the installment. However, I didn't stay home during the months they charged extra. I contacted customer service, but they asked me to pay instead of solving the problem.

A monopolist's customer service gone wrong
This company exploits its monopoly in 'stadsverwarming' to not only overcharge but also provides incredibly poor automated customer service. Vattenfall directs nearly all customer inquiries through a Whatsapp bot, making it their preferred, and often sole, point of contact. This approach is questionable, especially considering that not everyone uses WhatsApp, alienating a segment of potential customers right from the start. Despite multiple attempts through calls, emails, and even WhatsApp messages, it took months to finalize a contract—a process filled with unnecessary hurdles and inefficiencies. Even after expressing a clear desire to become a customer, the pathway to actually achieving this was excessively complicated, requiring numerous interactions with staff to resolve what should have been straightforward requests. Furthermore, the company failed to honor its billing commitments, with the first invoice arriving 12 months late, showcasing a lack of reliability and respect for customer agreements. This experience highlights a significant need for improvement in customer interaction and service fulfilment.

worst service ever
The cable of my electric vehicle was stuck in the charging station, which was hosted by Vattenfall. I first called in the error at 07:55. They could not find the charging station and could not reset it remotely.
They told me that they would send a mechanic and that I would be contacted. I called again at 08:30, I would be called back within 15 minutes...
All in all at 10:00 (and being multiple hours late for work already) and after several phone calls I finally spoke with an actual mechanic. He just heard I was there and could come to me in 40 minutes...
In the end I waited nearly three hours to get my cable back.

Slecht kantservice!! Been 6 years long customer. Showed the clear evidence to the customer service that i paid for 2 monthes. And still she said i only paid one month. They don't check well and insist that i should pay one more month.
