Out of curiosity, I had to book a meeting with my pension advisor for me to gain more knowledge about my pension -- e.g. How my pension is being invested and what I should expect when I go on pension. Johnny Holm is the pension advisor who was assigned to me. During our meeting, I never had an issue with Johnny as he was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and very accommodating for any question I asked during our meeting. The atmosphere in the meeting was very light, open and natural -- so I was able to ask questions and got the right answers.

Private customers are totally abandoned, no one cares.
I changed my job so I needed to get a new offer for my pension plan.
I booked a meeting for a month later as that was the earliest time available. When I had the meeting, the person told me that I have to submit a request online, and it took 30 minutes for this person to find the link.
Anyway I applied, I got an auto reply saying that I will get a new offer in 10 working days. No news until 11 working days later, so I called, they said they will inform the team about it and prioritize my request.
It has been over 1 month since I submitted the form, still no email, no call, not a single thing to tell me that sorry for having me wait, or at least they will NOT make this offer as it is not in their interest or whatever.
My request was just abandoned as no one in this company has time for it or no one cares.
My bank on the other hand gave an offer within a week so I decided to move my pension there.
I strongly recommend NOT to use Velliv if you are a private person, they simply don't care about you at all.

Unreachable customer support
Cannot contact them. The phone waiting takes forever and the "contact us" form is broken with a faulty validation on the phone number: It won't accept a Danish phone number in any format, with or without int'l prefix

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service! I have contacted about one issue and can not get any help from them. They promised several time but break their's promises eventually .

Happy about my advisor.
It took a little longer than I expected to book a meeting, but I got a great advisor. I don't know about the other advisors, but the one I got was very good, professional and friendly. He spoke in great English with me and answered all my questions. It helped a lot that I informed myself about my pension before the meeting. He has send me in a prior email what info I should read and where can I find it.

I would rather choose something else
Not happy, neither with their support, nor with their way of doing business. So I am moving to another company.
This "change" is going to cost me 2050,- for their "ekspeditionsgebyr" and this reflects their policies that I am talking about... AKA too expensive for such a small thing

Thank you for taking the time to report us and point out that you have had a bad experience and that you are dissatisfied with the fee.
It is true that there is a fee to move your pension scheme. But there are some exceptions that may apply in your case - for example, if it is a smaller pension plan you have. Then it is possible to ask your new pension company to request to move your savings here in Velliv as a "small free policy", then it will be moved without a fee.
If you are about to move your pension plan to another company in connection with a job change, your new company may compensate for the fee. At Velliv, we have chosen to do this. When customers move their pension savings of DKK 50,000 or more to us. Maybe your new pension company has the same practices as us?
I would suggest that you contact your adviser at your new pension company so that they can tell you about your options.
