SCAM

Someone contacted me via WhatsApp, claiming I could earn commissions by completing 38 tasks that help improve product ratings. I completed the tasks and earned $94, but they told me the
minimum withdrawal amount was $100. They asked me to wait until the next day to complete another 38 tasks, so I could earn more commission and withdraw my earnings.

While working on the tasks the next day, my account suddenly froze when I reached the 25th task, and my balance showed as -$71. I asked the recruiter for an explanation, and she said I had received a bonus gift. However, to continue and resolve the negative balance, I needed to deposit money into my account. She also claimed I was “very lucky” because my commission would supposedly double after making the deposit. That’s when I realized something was suspicious.

Before starting the tasks, I had to complete a few on her account, which she claimed was linked to mine. She said this allowed me to earn 25% of her commission. There were no contracts or formal agreements—just messages on WhatsApp. They even added me to a WhatsApp group where other people pretended to share their “success stories,” ask questions, and encourage participation to make the scheme look legitimate.

It’s a very sophisticated scam, and I’m sure many people have fallen victim to it. Luckily, I didn’t deposit any money.

I ordered the shoes, paid at the bank and sent Allegra an official confirmation of payment. After more than a week, they constantly refuse my requests for help and do not give explanations, but the mail is automatically rejected. Of course I didn't get shoes. Do not order anything from them.

When I repeatedly asked for clarification on what these order tasks were, I was finally told that I had to pretend to order products to write fake reviews to boost the company’s credibility. When I inquired about how I was supposed to finance these 38 orders or if any funding would be provided, the response was dismissive and unhelpful.

The lack of clear information, the expectation to pay for products out of pocket, and the dismissive attitude raise serious red flags. This entire scheme appears to be a scam and fraud. I would not recommend engaging with this company.

Allegro, I already have an allergy to that name. This business or company absorbed smaller companies that were better but today they fall under them and literally destroyed them. Allegro, these are such low-quality flat scumbags, products and services. They say how they protect the customer, but the person will not receive help. I pay for Smart and why no advantage. I lost both the goods and the money when I filed a complaint, Allegro rejected my request saying that I should solve it myself with the seller. So I ask what the Allegro buyer's protection is for if not for this. No verification of what sellers are selling. Badly packed goods, damaged goods, goods different from the photos and description, unrealistic photos. Allegro literally opened a store where all the low-quality things that were once sold as fraud on the street are now sold on the allegro website. I listen to avoid this site completely. Allegro brothel, chaos, poor customer service without help. Above all, everywhere they advertise how wonderful they are, but they are just the same scumbags who were once on the streets and lied to people.

Do not order anything from them!

Do not use this service at all

Do not use this service at all! Ordered an item, has paid for it immediately, never came! Week later they wrote me an email it has been cancelled by them (that's 3 days after it shall be delivered), took them 2 weeks to return the money even they had a ref number, my bank details etc... shocking communication and real bad customer service!

Awful experience

Awful experience. Never ever again! You placed an order with a promised delivery date (Friday) and the parcel was not even sent out. Delayed by weeks. When you contact Allegro support they say WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING as we are a marketplace and you have to deal with the seller. Insane.....All these marketplaces shouldn't be operated at all. It just kills the market and honest online sellers....

As a seller

As a seller, we were eager to list our products on Allegro, a marketplace with significant reach in Poland. Initially, everything seemed to be progressing well with a few products listed, but things took a turn when one of our listings—a painting of a wolf—was flagged for not complying with their business policies. This was just the beginning of a series of frustrating events.

We were then put through an identity verification process. I followed every instruction meticulously, sending all the requested documentation: both sides of my ID card, a selfie with the ID card in hand, and even the agreement with our supplier. Despite this, the only response we received from Allegro’s support team were template emails stating that our verification was unsuccessful, with no clear explanation as to why.

They continuously pointed to vague reasons like “security” and “the effectiveness of the verification process,” but failed to give us any specific feedback on what went wrong. We were left in the dark, wondering if they truly believed our documents were fraudulent or if we were being unfairly penalized.

This process dragged on for weeks without any real resolution. The lack of transparency and poor customer support from Allegro left us incredibly frustrated. We’ve made every effort to comply with their requests, but it feels like we are being punished for no reason.

If you’re considering selling on Allegro, beware—this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. If you value clear communication and transparency, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Be cautious with payments

Be careful when making payments to allegro, especially with Apple Pay. It can show 1 price and then charge you another price. You won’t see this until you have made the payment.

This should probably be investigated by some authority responsible for scam protection.

The allegro support team confirmed that there is an issue and I got charged indeed more than what the payment was stating and this is not related to shipping costs. This is related to coupons in the iOS app. Support case number 46437007

Used to be good

Allegro used to be the to-go place for me, but recently, as most online places, they've got hit with "enshittification".
"Smart" for families removed, free "smart" shipping minimum purchase costs raised.
Long time ago, you used to be able to normally browse products, some time ago, they've done something, and you could only see their weirdly "grouped" products when searching removing the turn-off button, but that was bypassable with incognito.
Now you are forced into the terrible "grouped" search. What happened to you allegro… you used to be okay… now I'm just disappointed with you.
There's no date of experience to be inputted, I buy a lot of stuff from allegro, as there isn't much of an alternative for new stuff.

I WILL NOT USE ALLEGRO AGAIN, allegro breaking the law and WANTED ID SCAN upload FOR REFUND money after PURCHASE NOT SEND 5 WEEKS LATER

over 5 weeks ago I ordered item with my wife from her account. we have been going on holly-day by car long way and have stretched time before journey. after paid purchase we messaged the seller to post asap as above, we really needed bottom covers around engine and front wheels, to prevent damage accessories around engine when rain. Seller didn't send item or answer any requests. After two weeks we put refund form and complain provided by allegro help section. I thorough all money is returned up to today when I checked, but absolutely nothing from allegro or seller.
I started process over again with this purchase using again allegro refund form with problem description and complain and when pressed proceed button at end of filled form the red error with highlighted window pop up to UPLOAD SCAN OF my WIFE ID card to complete refund money to account , obviously uploaded my selfie taken by laptop camera with middle finger on it:) THAT'S LAST TIME USED service.
PS from years I using aliexpress , ebay or amazon and refunds are processed after few clicks with no problem. but asking for ID scan is a SCAM. You don't have law or force to ask for ID scan or sensitive data, account was opened and used with address and payments, everything in account is right. what for do yOU need ID (dowód osobisty) ? Chyba trzeba to nagłośnić że jesteście SCAMERZY. Żadna podobna tego typu platforma nigdy nie raczyła nawet zapytac o skan ID przy weryfikacji, otwieraniu konta... A CO DOPIERO PRZY ZWROCIE NASZYCH PIENIEDZY ZLODZIEJE.
w urzędzie i banku to oczywiste, a prywatna firma bezprawnie zbiera scany dowodów? Może sprawa dla odpowiednich służb? , jest to niezgodne z prawem żeby wysyłać poufne dane ze skanami dokumentów włacznie. Nie jesteście urzędnikami lub bankiem żeby mieć do tego prawo. WON , jak nie oddacie pieniędzy to skontaktujemy się z bankiem i z karty kredytowej która było zapłacone dostaniemy i tak zwrot. Z opiniami to się dopiero rozkrecam na wasz temat bo mocno mi to weszło za skórę i się nie zawachacam użyć sporych środków.

I bought a printer worth 890pln and…

I bought a printer worth 890pln and after few months it stopped working.

I opened discussion, sent printer back to seller, now he does NOT want to repair replace or refund. And worse that I neither have a printer now, nor money, seller says he sent it back but I didn't receive it. I lost all money.

I had terrible experience with Allegro. I ordered a decorative bark for my garden total 150 kg in 10 bags of premium, branded product. The seller send rubbish in poor quality hand-tied bags, which were even not properly packed. It was clear from the photo that I received not what I ordered. The seller did not deny it. The support from Allegro protect was appalling. First they said I have to send the rubbish back to the seller, so the seller can evaluate the content and then decide whether to refund me or not. Courier came and refused to collect the bags because these were not well packed. Allegro advised me to repack all 150 kg of order so the courier will accept the parcels. With no doubt I was conned by dishonest seller and Allegro Protect should have refunded me for this purchase as it was evident that I did not receive the product I ordered. Allegro insisted that I repack all 150 kg order so the courier would accept the goods for shipping. As the bags were rather heavy,it was already a third week since I opened a discussion with Allegro and the unsightly bags were lying on my doorsteps, I disposed the bags. During the whole process of discussion, the quality of responses I received from Allegro team was appalling. Total lack of support and understanding I lost time and money as Allegro protect did not refund my purchase I do not recommend Allegro to anyone.

What Allegro is doing with CZC is…

What Allegro is doing with CZC is crazy, the website is uncluttered, uncontextually strange and uses the wrong things, the UX and UI are completely chaotic, the user instead of getting what he needs gets a strange approach, I don't know how it is with delivery, but I definitely don't like this approach.

This is a disaster

This is a disaster. I have just made an order with DPD pickup point. A few hours later I got a message that the DPD point does not exist and I should cancel order and create a new one. This means pay for the product twice basically with no guarantee for getting money back. Their website is terrible, like from the old ages of internet. Filters, sorting etc does not really work. The look of the website is not trustworthy. As a bonus, they bought great Czech e-shop czc.cz which they slowly transforming into disaster too. A real nightmare!

I have 5 from 10 items purchased

I bought 10 products from allegro... 3 have been returned to sender without me ever being able to collect them... One of those 3 has been returned twice without me every getting a notification that it was waiting for pick up.
The feildmann grinder on/off switch was faulty from the start. One of the chisels broke in half the second time i used it.
It took me 3 days to get in contact with the delivery company who said they would find out what is wrong with one of the returned products I never received and they would get back to me... I still haven't heard anything back.

HORENDOUS customer service, poor quality products.. out of 10 items ordered I have 5.
