Lost power and heating on Xmas day.
There was a delay in getting an appointment time but the electrician came 3 days later. On his first visit he got some sockets fixed and fitted a temporary solutio
n to provide heating and hot water. On his second visit he quickly traced the electrical fault and fixed it so the electrical system and heating and hot water were operating properly. The engineer was extremely competent and thorough and did a great job.

It was easy via the website to book a repair. The engineer contacted me early with an eta and arrived on time. Smartly turned out and groomed he showed his professionalism by quickly diagnosing the problem and repairing. He has good communication skills and clearly explained what he had done and gave me a thorough safety briefing. Excellent service, thank you.

Brit Gas engineer came to fix our not working radiator.
It didn't take him very long to fix problem.
He clearly explained what was wrong and how he fix it.
Was very polite and friendly making it
a very nice repair experience.
Would highly recommend British Gas services very much.

My heating went off on new year's eve and I didn't think there was the slightest chance of getting an engineer out that day under my maintenance plan. To my surprise an engineer was in attendance by mid afternoon. He sorted the problem out in no time ,and proceeded to establish what had caused the problem in the first place. This was also sorted. I am 85 next and can't thank British Gas enough for their brilliant service. Thank you British Gas.

The engineer, Josh, contacted me and arrived on time. He carried out the work quickly and efficiently. He explained everything to me,was professional, courteous and helpful.

Boiler breakdown

Contacted BG on evening of 29/12/24 after I returned home from visiting family for christmas and heating was not working. Engineer came Monday 30th, checked boiler and ordered part required. He arranged to return on 2/1/25 to complete the job (1st January being a bank holiday). Came 8.30am and got boiler working. Very professional, no mess and checked everything.

Two boilers

In April 24, the boiler in Dudley Street, Lu7 8SE was mended and the job was done well. I presume that boiler is up for servicing this spring. As for the boiler in my first home, All Saints Lane, CT1 2AU, I had several random phone calls, but the signal on my phone where I live is very weak, so I was unable to respond. I managed to answer whilst driving on hands free, but was curtly told that the company did not undertake calls with people driving. Whilst this is a good thing, nobody ever called again.
Similarly, no one considered arranging a visit via email. Neither do those contacting me ever state the address of the boiler being discussed, so I don't even know which address this review request is about!

Dont bother paying for BG Homecare

Dont bother paying for BG Homecareb I rang them this a.m as an emergency. My boiler has stopped working. I have no heating or hot water. Theyve given me the 7th January to come out & fix. l need to pay an excess of £60. Ive made £400 in payments & not even the annual service has been done yet that was due in December. I'd recommend saving your cash find someone local to you not these big rip off companies with their flashy ads on tv.
