Canada Post is a costly national disgrace and a man made disaster. Canada Post in its current form must shut down immediately. Its service is totally unreliable useless and the worst in the world. Mail and packages are lost, fully damaged never delivered; this happens 99%of the time. Unbelievably I the tax payer am paying for this crappy non-service with my tax dollars!! Shame on the leadership for this useless service! I would give a worse rating to Canada Post if possible here. Pls immediately privatize Canada Post so it is run properly!

If you ever decide to send a letter or parcel, please, please I beg you, do not even consider using such a carrier as Canada Post. These people, all together: employees and management are complete antagonists of what should be considered as mail delivery system in parts or in whole. Moved to Canada in 2005. And in 20 years their service turned from horrible to super horrible. In my hatred they superceeded lawyers, dentists and politicians. The worst part is that there is no leverage to correct or fix it anyhow. So improvement is impossible. Run away fast!

Canada Post vs U.S. mail system
If you think Canada Post is bad try the U.S. mail system. Ordered something from company in Maine. Items were shipped January 6 2025. Today is January 15 and the package is not even in Canada. from Maine it went south to Connecticut, then north to 2 different places in New Jersey where it sat for 3 days. Today's update Jan 15 it is now in Jamaica, New York. Further south and east. No where near Canada. Do the people in the U.S. post office not know where Ontario Canada is? This package has been handled so many times it will be lucky if there is anything left of it when/if it arrives. Shipping cost for their priority mail $36.40 cdn. I have never had this problem with Canada Post. Hoping it goes smoother if it ever reaches Canada Post.

They actually raised the prices today…
They actually raised the prices today January 12th 2025. By 25% WoW! I get notices saying "delivered" at the end of the day but it's not there. Only to show up the next afternoon. I know they work hard but. Don't mark it if it's not delivered. Carriers do deserve more money. They don't get paid much and take all the heat. $17-$20 per hour is not much compared to others that make $34 per hour to be warm and CEO MAKING WELL OVER 500-600K a year, not far at all. But if you want our support (The people) Don't ever go on strike like the way you did and hold us hostage. It only adds fuel to the fire. And gains miss trust. People still get checks in the mail. Which you DID NOT hold your word. Shame. Do it right. It's CANADA POST... C.A.N.A.D.A!

An excellent example of socialist unionist enterprises. The worst mail-parcel-delivery service in North America. Very similar to the workings (or not workings) of the CBC. But, fantastic employee/executive benefits!

Dishonest Company Standards/ Not outlined on the mail forwarding application
This is my 2nd time purchasing mail forwarding services from Canada Post and I could not be more disappointed and feel like I've been ripped off and that Canada Post as a company are sneaky and don't go above and beyond for their customers and that in itself is disappointing. So according to google and Canada Post, if there's prior mail in the open mailbox, they don't forward it, this is not written on the application, which I find sneaky and deceiving. 2ndly, I've had my mail forwarding over a month and still haven't seen a pay stub!! So let me get this straight, they're allowed to be backed up in mail, but any mail under your name from before in the open mail box doesn't get forwarded and let me quote on google that due to some ''Mail Forwarding limitations'' you don't get the rest of the old mail sitting in the open mailbox from before. I find this dishonest & sneaky, which are not good principles for any business. If you're going to deliver a service to anyone anywhere, at least point out your ''limitations'' about your service on the application, be honest upfront. Extremely disappointed in Canada Post and am reevaluating the next time i need mail forwarding!!!! This should be included on the application fineprint or what not!!!!

Package shipped Nov. 18 & still not delivered
On Nov. 18, 2024, I shipped a package from Victoria, BC to Bay Tree, AB - 1,300 km straight north. Tracking on the package shows the package left Richmond, BC on Nov. 19th and then sat in Prince George from Nov. 20-Dec. 24. Then Jan. 4 it was in Edmonton, AB; Jan 7th it was in Grande Prairie, AB (100 km from destination), Jan. 8th in Manning, AB (driver must of not had a road map or GPS), and as of Jan. 10th it is now in Kamloops, BC (1,000 km from destination). Expected delivery date on their notice dated Jan. 10th states expected delivery to be Jan. 2nd. The service is horrible. Since original post it has now gone to Kamloops, then to Prince George and today it is at originating sort facility where package was 2 months ago.

Poor service even without the strike
Thanks to the normal slow service and recent strikes everything I sent for my grandchildren for Xmas has only just started arriving.
Sent another parcel using DPD and UPS and it arrived in Calgary from the UK in a week.
I will never be using any postal service that uses Canada Post again.

I paid for expedited service and received no Service
I paid for expedited service. Received notifications that delivery was in the local post office and delivery was expected on Jan 9th. ID and signature required. Spent this day at home only to be notified at 5:30 delivery delayed until Jan 10. Again remained at home waiting for delivery. Spoke with virtual assistant and told that a ticket will go out and I should hear back by Jan17.
The local post office is less than 2 km away. I have requested that the package be pulled and I would pickup. Vaguely told no.
It’s now 5:10 on Jan 10…no delivery. You have disrespected my time.
Canada post you are withholding my property for no reason.
If you, Canada post are unable to manage the business, you have no right to accept parcels for delivery.

They completely and totally messed up
They completely and totally messed up. Firstly, my package was delayed for what seemed like weeks and I had a flight to catch which was fine since the package should have arrived before my flight. However, delays caused my package to arrive late and after my flight so now I had to cancel el my flight as this package is to valuable to leave home. Secondly, they messed up my order, they gave me the wrong package and I had to sit through the lengthy process of getting a refund. Finally, The workers were absolutely atrocious and mean, they would never be kind and honestly I would never use Canada post again. Terrible service and Amazon will always be better.

Returned an item to Amazon, used canada post to support local, then due to strike, my parcel didn't arrive within the return window, and now i don't get a refund, to boot I had to pay for the return to sender! Out over $200.

Bs raises
Liars here they just have no moral character here. Just get paid and then lie about everything. Worst service since they all went back to work yet refuses to send out packages holding them hostage for bigger pay. These people are still not working despite the lies they say. Two months and only flyers means they not doing anything. They biggest problem i have it the fact I know these packages are here in this town yet they will scan it to a town that farther away that's 45 minutes away that will take them 3 days to get to due to lazy workers yet it will go cross country in one day! The thing is it's here as when it usually scan it here in this town 10 minutes later it's here in this town but since this grinch style entitled attitude they have now they are not doing a damn thing all i see is the same people getting packages and I don't even get my bills or anything but flyers. Keep it up people you will see what going postal will get you pos.
