Awful company. Real cheaters. Their paying system is created in a way you are misled to buy more products without understanding you did. And when you want a refund, they tell you you cannot have one. Their sells and customer team are only money makers. I don't know what can justify such a behavior. Otherwise good product with almost scam sells.

Don't write many reviews but have to leave 5 here as I see people don't review the app correctly. Me as totally newbie to video editing it is an amazing app and to score 1 star just cause it has paid options and cant be used all free seems so silly to me. I would like to know from the reviewers then if they would work for free?????? I have used it for quite some time and do all my editing with this and it has been very easy for me to use. I used in beginning free but now I got the pro version. I do not mind paying for something I get good value of.

It’s a SCAM!!!
It’s a SCAM!!!! Don’t purchase any of the options they give you. I used the app to edit one of my videos and it asked me to purchase a plan in order to export my video. I purchased the standard plan, paid for it and after still didn’t let me export my video until I pay another amount again for a standard plan. This is an absolute SCAM. I have the receipts as proof. I am going to report them anywhere I can if I don’t get my refund back. I contacted the customer service and they refuse to give me my money back although I couldn’t use the feature I bought the app for.

I purchased for $9 the standard version…
Revised! I just went ahead and purchased Pro. So far big improvement. I really detest the way I got here. But I have to say working cross platform so far seems ok. I will revisit UX once I have used for a bit. I am improving rating to 4 stars. Saved me a fair amount of time.
First Review. 03/04/2025 I purchased for $9 the standard version of Capcut. It indicated I used a "Pro" feature and would have to upgrade for another $17. a month. WHAT? I never selected any pro feature and to top it off trying to figure out how to turn off and actually be able to post a video I just spent 30 minutes editing. Nope NOT HAPPENING. I detest this kind of bait and switch. Product Manager that thought this up should be summarily fired along with any poltroon that approved this nonsense. DO NOT USE CapCut! User beware.
Oh and I tried to reach out to CapCut to discern how to fix and then searched online for a fix. NOT HAPPENING. I am going to post online how annoyed I am with this nonsense.

CapCut is a solid free video editor with a user-friendly interface and great tools for quick social media edits. It has fun effects, auto captions, and smooth transitions, making it great for casual users.
However, it lacks advanced editing features, and exporting can be slow. If you’re doing basic edits, it’s fine, but for professional work, you’ll quickly hit its limits. Good for beginners, but not for serious projects. 🎬

I purchased the Pro version of CapCut…
I purchased the Pro version of CapCut expecting a better experience, but instead, I ran into serious issues. After upgrading, the app constantly crashes whenever I try to export videos, regardless of resolution or file size. I’ve followed all troubleshooting steps—updated the app, restarted my phone, cleared the cache, and ensured I have plenty of storage—but nothing helps.
I contacted CapCut support, hoping for assistance or at least a refund since the Pro version did nothing to fix the issue. Unfortunately, they refused to refund me, even though I paid for a product that doesn’t work as advertised.
I’ve spent over 30 hours on a project I now can’t even export, making this entire experience incredibly frustrating. If you’re considering paying for CapCut Pro, I strongly recommend thinking twice—there’s no guarantee it will work, and if it doesn’t, you won’t get your money back.

SCAM! Do not pay for pro!
I don’t know what happened after the TikTok ban (they own CapCut too) but it’s been a scam ever since! When my membership renewed they never gave me the pro features. After multiple conversations with support there is no resolution just generic responses and no refund. To top it off now you can’t even export a video without paying for pro! All my content is stuck in this app and I can’t even get it off! Do not spend your money here!

Urgent Complaint Regarding Missing Invoices for CapCut PRO Subscription
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the ongoing issue regarding the invoices for my CapCut PRO subscription for our company account.
I subscribed to the PRO plan in December, and it was renewed in January and February. Since the initial purchase, I have been repeatedly requesting the corresponding invoices, but no invoice has been provided to date.
What’s more frustrating is the complete lack of proper customer support:
Occasionally, I receive the same automated email asking for billing details, which I provide immediately, only to receive no follow-up.
At other times, responses come from different CapCut email addresses, claiming that they are not responsible for these issues or stating that no such CapCut products exist, which is absolutely unacceptable.
After reading multiple complaints online, it’s clear that this is a recurring issue, which only adds to my frustration.
It is outrageous that a company can sell a product without issuing invoices, especially when dealing with business accounts that require proper documentation for accounting and tax purposes.
If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will be forced to escalate the matter by:
Filing complaints on multiple platforms and consumer rights organizations.
Publicly sharing this experience so that other businesses are aware of this unacceptable practice.
Taking any necessary legal steps required to obtain the documentation we are legally entitled to.
I expect urgent action on this matter. Please send the pending invoices for December, January, and February without any further delays.
This situation is completely unprofessional, and I would like to believe that CapCut will resolve it without forcing me to take further actions.

Its been almost 5 months and they are still charging me
Its been almost 5 months - they keep charging me and sending me the exact same instructions to cancel - instead of helping me.
My account says the service was cancelled 5 months ago but yet I keep getting charged and even though I keep giving them evidence they won't cancel or refund and keeps asking me for new documents and not reviewing the past documents and keep telling me the same thing - which does not work.

Still No Receipt – Capcut, What's Going On?
I've been really let down by Capcut. I made a purchase expecting a smooth experience, but after sending two emails about not receiving my receipt, I'm still left in the dark. It feels like basic customer care is totally missing here.
It's honestly frustrating when you’re paying for something and can’t even get a simple receipt. I reached out twice, and not even a single response came through. This lack of communication is just not cool.
If you're expecting prompt support and a hassle-free experience, you might want to think twice before trusting Capcut with your purchase. This whole ordeal has been a major letdown.
