So around 2 weeks ago I shipped my ram back to caseking due to it being faulty (which is not their fault of course), the problem is I have sent out emails through their customer service line more than a week ago and I have yet to receive a response on if the ram has arrived or if they are shipping out a replacement. There could be reasons as to why they are not able to respond but the amount of time its taking for them to respond worries me

The support is absolutely not existing! Not only they send me the SSd nvme in a random box just wrapped with bubble wrap now the SSD is not even on the page. I didnt even bother to test it if its used for them not to find any excuse in case they decide to appear. In my own good will i contacted support with pictures as soon are i received the SSD and the support is not replying!

Its really shame because the delivery was very fast and i was planning to order more things from them.

5 Days later and still the support didnt reply to my emails!

After waiting a month for my pre built gaming pc to arrive, it showed up not fully built, and additionally doesn’t work, showing a black screen upon turning on.

Fast shipping and a lot of items in stock

Ordered twice from caseking and each time the order arrived in perfect condition to Bucharest. Some cases they have it stock are really hard to find anywhere else and the prices are decent. They also put a small pack of Haribo gummy bears inside the parcel which always amuses me and find it a nice touch on their part.

Highly recommend them so far.

Initially failed to provide my AMD free game promo code

Update 19/10/22:

Caseking have arranged with AMD to provide the codes which I have now received. I have therefore changed the review to 3/5, I am still not as happy a customer as I would have been had this problem not occurred, and I am quite sure that it took the bad publicity here on Trustpilot to motivate caseking to rectify their mistake. The initial replies from caseking customer service amounted to "them's the breaks".

My advice to anyone looking to redeem codes from a GPU purchase or similar from caseking: Chase them repeatedly rather than relying on them to remember to send you the code after their 14 day wait period.

Original review 13/10/22:

I bought an AMD RX 6000 series graphics card in August 2022, with an associated promotion for 3 free games under the AMD 'Raise the game' promotion. I emailed caseking on the day the card was delivered asking for the codes, they told me to wait 14 days and they would send the codes. They didn't send the codes, when I contacted them about this they sent an expired code and I have missed out on the promo. They accepted that they totally failed but cannot do anything to put this right.

This is poor customer service and I would be hesitant to ever use them again.

Dear "Gamer",

Update:

We have received an update from AMD. Please go to https://www.amdrewards.com/support, create a support ticket (do not select any of the FAQ answers but just click "next"). Briefly explain your case once again in the form and indicate all your personal information along with all the required data about your purchase.

AMD has briefed their staff in order to enable the redemption of the voucher code in your case despite the promotion having ended already. Please contact us again if there are any problems.

Original Response:

We already apologised for our mistake and I can only repeat that we are deeply sorry for this. Yet it is simply impossible for us to reactivate these expired voucher codes, since they are provided by the product manufacturer AMD.

We have contacted AMD to find out if they can somehow make an exception, but if that's not possible, we did not fulfil our purchasing contract and the sole legal consequence of that is a right of withdrawal on your part. We already offered to take back the card and reimburse the purchase price in full.

We also already offered to waive the shipping costs as a little gesture of goodwill, however we are unable to compensate you for those game codes in a monetary way and will never be able to do so. There is also no legal basis for that request.

Perfect choice for building a PC in Ireland

I've built three PCs using CaseKing now and I can't fault them. I haven't found a better place to order parts from to Ireland. Their prices are fair, they have a huge range of items and their website makes it very clear when items out of stock will be back in stock.

Their next day delivery option is expensive but so worth it if you're in a rush. I ordered at 13:37 on Monday, I then received an email at 16:38 the same day saying it had been dispatched, and it arrived on Tuesday at 14:02. I think I missed the cut-off for next day in this case, I expected it to be sent Tuesday and arrive Wednesday but they still managed to get it out the door on Monday. Very impressive.

Would order again!

They informed the shipping company as soon as I ordered.
And the products, an atx case and a cpu cooler mount, arrived well packaged after a week.
Detailed information on their emails.
Outstanding overall, freebies too :)

Worst RMA Service I've ever had with any European Store

I've been a customer of this store for some time now, and until recently I have been satisfied with the experience I had.
I bought from them multiple graphic cards and they are all doing well apart from one that started manifesting a fan that is oscillating like it would fly off the cooling system.

I have contacted their RMA department and asked them if they are able to either repair my defective graphic card or if they would be able to send me the fan set to replace it myself ( I didn't say, but I was prepared to actually pay for the spare parts just to have the original fan set which is recommended by the manufacturer). Either way, I've been contacted shortly after and informed that they are not able to provide me with spare fans, but I was encouraged to have a short video recording of the malfunctioning fans.

Said and done, I have opened my personal computer and made a short video showing exactly the described defect. I was then assured that this is very annoying to have and they gave me a shipment label and encouraged me to send them back the graphic card so they can have a look.
The next day, I packed the graphic card in the original package and send it to the National Post Service so it can find its way back to the retailer. I was satisfied that my problem is going to be handled by professionals and that I don’t have to order the required fans from who knows what online store and carry out the repair myself. So I thought…
After approximately one week, however, while browsing my mailbox, I discovered an email sent from their RMA department in which I was informed that my warranty claim has been rejected because I was using my GPU for cryptocurrency mining.
I replied to the email denying the accusations and reminded them that they cannot prove that I have done what they were saying.
Shortly after, I received a reply in which apparently according to the law in Germany, starting from 01.01.2022, after one year under warranty, I have to provide evidence that I didn’t damage my own good and in this case that I haven’t been using my graphic card for cryptocurrency mining. I was also accused of dubious purchasing history and that I have bought from them only graphic cards and no other computer components. The reason for that as I reminded the agent who replied to my ticket was that other computer components were simply cheaper elsewhere and it’s my right to buy whatever I want from whoever I want.
In conclusion, I would think twice before ordering anything from this retailer. Apparently, you have to record your usage of the ordered goods 24/7 so you can provide them evidence you haven’t damaged your own product. And we’re talking here about a set of fans, not about a burned graphic card or something more expensive to repair. In my opinion with this retailer, you have no warranty because as a normal user you are not able to provide them evidence of your claims and they will reject any RMA claims whatsoever.
They are very friendly when you are purchasing something but after that they not helping you with anything. And we’re talking about a customer who has ordered from them a lot of products in the last 2 years and who as well recommended the store to a large number of friends from my position of owning a rather big gaming community.
This last experience made me feel like I haven’t received the proper respect I deserved as a customer being accused of unproven deeds and being found guilty by default. By the way, I don’t know how it is in other countries, but at least in mine, when you are appearing in front of a court of law, there is a thing called presumption of innocence. Apparently, at Caseking RMA, you are guilty by default and the so-called 2 years warranty which is supposedly provided by the selling agreement is just a marketing tool, nothing more. After you have purchased the goods they are reselling you are on your own.

Dear "ThUNdR GO",

First of all, we're sorry that we didn't properly address your enquiry. We should have told you right away that we are probably going to reject the claim due to suspected misuse in order to save you time. However, in the theoretical event of a material defect, we as a vendor are first entitled to inspect the defective purchased item (Federal Court of Justice ruling of 19.12.2012 - Ref. VIII ZR 96/12 as well as Federal Court of Justice ruling of 1.7.2015 - Ref. VIII ZR 226/14) in order to verify the validity of a claim itself in accordance with the material defects liability and to carry out our right of supplementary performance in the most economical way possible.

We also should have explained that we are rarely capable of sending out spare parts for graphics card cooling systems since the respective manufacturers do not even offer such parts for purchase and we're also simply not a graphics card repair shop with hundreds of different GPU coolers for every model just lying around. ASUS as a company unfortunately also just doesn't offer any GPU repairs any longer which is why, in general, the only way for handling GPU claims is through replacements and refunds. (We do not have anything to do with ASUS, the manufacturer of your GPU.)

On the difference between Seller's Warranty (Gewährleistung) & Manufacturer's Warranty (Garantie):

I will gladly again explain the legal situation according to German law. The legally mandated liability for material defects ("seller's warranty" or in German "Sachmängelhaftung") prescribed by German law in §§ 434 ff. of the German Civil Code in accordance with EU directives (which always require an implementation into each country's national law which usually results in slight variations) generally refers only to defects whose seed or cause already existed at the moment of purchase, but never to defects which can be traced back to improper handling, use contrary to the intended purpose or damage caused negligently or wilfully, unnatural wear and tear as well as natural attrition occurring later.

After the expiry of the first six months after purchase (pertaining to your order date, it's one year only for purchases made since 2022), the seller's burden of proof for the absence of defects upon passing of risk existing up to this point in time ends in accordance with § 477 BGB (German Civil Code). Thereafter, the buyer of the goods must provide legal proof that the seed or cause of the malfunction or defect of the product already existed at the moment of purchase (passage of risk), which then entitles to a settlement within the scope of the liability for material defects. If evidence provided is not plausible, a complaint is unfortunately generally excluded.

We usually do NOT request such evidence from normal customers, but your purchasing behaviour is highly unusual. Due to the aforementioned and so far unexplained, implausibly high amount of gaming graphics cards you purchased from us (like many other cryptominers did), we were thus very keen on inspecting the allegedly faulty cooling system for documentation purposes, also to protect us from further unjustified RMA claims in the future. We are of course very accustomed by now with unjustified RMA claims of that sort which should somewhat explain our harsh initial reaction given the atypical condition of the cooling system in relation to the relatively young age of the product.

Gaming graphics cards used for cryptomining:

Graphics cards which were used for mining cryptocurrencies might, at best, get accepted by us as a complaint case with manufacturer handling (manufacturer's warranty) out of goodwill. From the outset, the cooling system of consumer graphics cards is not designed to withstand permanent load, which results in damage due to negligence and misuse thus voiding any rights pursuant to the legally mandated liability for material defects. As a gaming graphics card explicitly advertised as such, the product's cooling system is designed solely for this intended use of gaming with sporadic load, whereas in the case of the apparent misuse, continuous high load must be assumed, which in this case can be discerned directly from the condition of the cooling system.

The very high temperature development resulting from mining applications causes unnaturally accelerated wear of the overloaded components (dead fans as well as silicon degradation etc.), which does not occur with this consistency when used in normal application scenarios. The applicable terms of use of all graphics card manufacturers expressly prohibit any use of their products outside the specifications for good reason. That is why we generally do not even mention "mining" in the product descriptions at all, but the word "gaming" quite often.

In addition, the chip manufacturer NVIDIA is also trying (sometimes in vain) to stop the misuse of the GeForce RTX 3000 series, which is only designed for gaming, with a mining lock built into the graphics driver and new chip versions with a hash rate limiter implemented on the hardware itself (but you notably never purchased any LHR card). All these countermeasures by the GPU manufacturer underline the danger of misappropriation through cryptomining or high-load scenarios.

If you want to reach me directly, you may do so via email to "mike@caseking.de".

Kind Regards
Mike

This is my go-to shop for PC components

This is my go-to shop for PC components in Germany. The processing and shipping are extremely fast (promised 3-5 days, shipped in the morning and delivered on the evening of the second day), packaging is flawless (with an extra Haribo surprise) and no hassle customer support. Their prices are very good and I would rather pay an euro more here and know that in case of a defect they will have my back than buy from some unknown shop and be stuck on my own in trouble.

A very good experience

A very good experience, the only thing causing a slight worry is that the delivery company they sent my order with was different than what I chose on the checkout. however, the delivery was on time and the components arrived in good order. :) I wholly recommend to anyone.

overall a good experience with Caseking

I have only ordered twice from this site.
Once a front pc case panel and recently a gpu.
The front case panel(mesh pannel for a phanteks eclipse p400s)i could not find it anywhere else.
The gpu(rx 6800 nitro+) had the lowest price i could find on any pc hardware store/site.
On both orders good packaging, product as advertised, fast delivery and good communication via e-mail.
cheers

Products were shipped almost instantly and everything working great. Small misunderstanding with the delivery company, as they didn't have my phone number in their system for some reason, but that was sorted out quickly.

Dear random dude from valorant,

(You have indicated a publicly visible e-mail address which you should remove immediately for your own good and it might also violate the Trustpilot rules. I cannot proactively send you an e-mail which is why I'm responding here.)

On topic:

You can set our shop page to English and just put any system into the shopping cart where you can select Slovenia as the destination country. However, the product descriptions are mostly only available in German. The shipping speed itself varies depending on the parcel company selected/available which in turn also depends on the size and weight of an order. DHL, for example, do not even state a general transit duration to Slovenia at all so I would guesstimate 1-3 weeks. Some systems even require being dispatched via freight forwarding which will take much longer than driving the mere distance in a car because of the logistics involved.

If you prefer a build-to-order (BTO) system you can always send us an e-mail to "systems@caseking.de" and name your budget and desired components. Please give us 2-3 business days to respond with an offer. We offer pre-built "Express" systems and configurable systems which are not pre-built. Let me give you a rundown of our build times and delivery times:

1. Express Systems:

- Pre-built and ready to ship
- Picking and packaging starts once the payment has been fully booked
- Dispatch within 1-4 business days (Mo - Fr) if shown as "All parts in stock"
- If an operating system is added, installation & setup will delay shipping by 1-4 business days

2. Configurable Systems & Configurators:

- Need to be assembled by hand after being ordered
- Build process starts once all components are in stock *and* the payment has been booked
- Build process, setup and testing takes at least(!) 10 business days for air and AiO watercooled systems (no estimates for custom-watercooled systems can be given, it depends on too many factors)
- Packaging will also take 1-4 business days depending on the size of the system.
- Shipping times depend on the transport company

BUT:
There is an express build option for some systems which decrease build time to 4-5 business days and there is express shipping (which will be very expensive to Slovenia unfortunately) which also speeds up delivery by an unknown amount of time.

So all in all our systems will not arrive fast, but they'll be powerful hand-built gaming systems. If you've got any specific questions you can also reach me directly via "mike@caseking.de". I can also update you on the progress of a systems order if you've placed one.

Update: If you consider picking up a system yourself in Germany, you can of course do so as soon as a system is ready. However, we currently disabled the pickup option for our Berlin store in our online shop system for reasons that had to do with the Covid pandemic, which is why we would have to arrange this for you in advance. Contact me if you consider this as an option.

Kind Regards
Mike

Dear Samuel Vigouroux,

We offer DHL, GLS and UPS. All of them can be selected for international shipping, but the options depend on the amount, size and weight of the goods ordered.

That being said, we are sorry if the delivery didn't go as well as you would've liked. The service quality of all shipping companies can vary greatly from region to region or simply from delivery to delivery and there is nothing we can do about that in general, but we are aware.

Fast, nice and fair

I bought some components for my new gaming pc a little bit more than a year ago (April 2021) because they had everything I wanted in stock and offered fair prices. About a year later (February 2022) the AIO didn't work properly anymore. The support was nice and they offered me to send it back to them, they check it and if it is really broken they will repair it or replace it. Not even a week after I send them the AIO, I got a new one without any problems. Fast, nice, and fair support.
