In January 2024, our flight was canceled just a few hours before departure, and we were not offered any alternatives. We initially bought our ticket through GoVoyage but none of them wants to take responsibility. We’ve been struggling to get a refund for our tickets ever since. We're like a ball of ping pong between GoVoyage and Condor Airlines. It's been a year and nothing has been done. Not even an apology.

After long conversations with the hotline, we managed to find out that all flights to Málaga had allegedly been canceled. However, tickets for these dates were still available on Condor’s official website.
Condor makes no effort whatsoever to help its customers get another flight, even though they cooperate with Lufthansa, which flies this route three times a day! I hope the court will rule in favor of the customers and that this company will never manage to get out of debt.

CONDOR FLIGHT NIGHTMARE Frankfurt - Puerto Plata 1 star is still too much. We had requested wheelchair assistance for my 86-year-old mother. After a short bus ride, we entered through a side entrance to make our way to the plane. We had to push the wheelchair ourselves because there wasn't enough staff. We were briefly directed to the lift up, then right, and after customs to gate 48. Upon arrival for boarding, we reported to the disabled care where they let us through to check paperwork. Something was wrong, and we had to go back behind the tape. He said he would resolve it but was busy with other things. We were ignored during several attempts to make contact. After 30-45 minutes, another person came who I managed to approach, and he let us back in but saw an error message.
Condor had made a mistake and had not debited enough money and we had to make up for that. This had already been arranged the day before. I had proof of copies with me. It would not have been paid and my evidence was not interesting. Paying double if necessary was also not a solution. There I was with my 86-year-old mother and son. We were told if we wanted to stand behind the tape again. After a lot of wrangling, only my mother and I would be able to come along and my son had to stay behind to come 4 days later. Unacceptable, we have done nothing wrong and are treated like this. My 86-year-old mother was crying and almost in shock. She tried to separate us to stop my son from leaving. There was overbooked and absolutely no place left. I didn't settle and was very angry, after a lot of stress and harsh words, my son was finally able to come along.
Once we arrived at the Dominican Empire, it turned out that suitcases and trollys had not come along. This took so much extra stress and time with an 86-year-old mother.
We were the last to come out of the airport.
Just terrible.
But it could be worse
Because after 4 days without suitcases we received the message today that they had forgotten our suitcases and it will take until next week.
No more CONDOR !!!
It was a big drama, our holiday is largely ruined.
We went for my granddaughter's first birthday but the presents are in the suitcases.

We hadden rolstoel assistentie gevraagd voor mijn moeder van 86 jaar. Na een korte busrit kwamen we ergens bij een zij-ingang binnen om ons naar het vliegtuig te begeven. We moesten de rolstoel zelf duwen want er was niet genoeg personeel. Kort werd ons de weg gewezen lift naar boven dan rechts af en na douane naar 48. Aangekomen voor boarding ons gemeld bij invalide zorg daar kwam die ons doorliet om papierwerk te checken. Er klopte iets niet en we moesten weer terug achter het lint. Hij zou het oplossen maar was druk bezig met vanalles. Wij werden in iedergeval genegeerd bij diverse contact pogingen. Na 30-45 minuten kwam er een ander die ik wist te benaderen deze liet ons weer binnen maar zag een foutmelding. Condor had zelf een fout gemaakt en zelf te weinig geld afgeschreven en dat moesten wij aanvullen. Dit was al de dag ervoor geregeld. Ik had bewijs van afschriften bij me. Het zou niet betaald zijn en mijn bewijzen waren niet interessant. Ook desnoods dubbel betalen was ook geen oplossing. Daar stond ik dan met moeder van 86 en zoon. Of we weer achter het lint wilde gaan staan werd ons gezegd. Na veel geharrewar zouden alleen mijn moeder en ik mee kunnen en mijn zoon moest achterblijven om 4 dagen later te komen. Onacceptabel we hebben niets verkeerd gedaan en worden zo behandeld. Mijn moeder van 86 huilend en bijna in shock. Ze probeerde ons te scheiden om mijn zoon tegen te houden zodat het vliegtuig kon vertrekken. Er was overboekt en absoluut geen plaats meer. Ik nam geen genoegen en was ontzettend kwaad na veel stress en harde woorden kon mijn zoon uiteindelijk toch mee.
Een maal op de Dominicaanse aangekomen bleken koffers en trollys niet meegekomen. Dit koste zoveel extra stress en tijd met een moeder van 86.
We kwamen als laatste uit het vliegveld.
Gewoon verschrikkelijk.
Maar het kan nog erger
want na 4 dagen zonder koffers kregen we vandaag het bericht dat ze onze koffers vergeten waren en het nog tot volgende week gaat duren.
Nooit meer CONDOR !!!!
Het was een groot drama onze vakantie is grotendeels naar de klote.
We gingen voor de eerste verjaardag van mijn kleindochter maar de cadeautjes zitten in de koffers.

Lost baggage, shameful customer service
Our group booked a Condor flight from JNB to FRA, then a Lufthansa connection from FRA to ZHR, all through the Condor website. Our connection was subsequently cancelled, and we were rebooked on a much later connection. Instead, we decided to take the (much quicker) train after we were informed by Lufthansa that we could have our check-in baggage delivered to our homes.
Unfortunately, our check-in baggage then became lost in limbo. Despite persistent emails and calls both to Condor and Lufthansa, nobody could (or wanted to) assist us in any meaningful way. Our request was treated with impertinence and impatience, and consistently downplayed or dismissed. Each airline referred us back to the other, and no person took responsibility for our situation. Our clear requests for resolution were obfuscated by bureaucracy and procedure. All this is after Condor made it exceedingly difficult to locate a number by which to speak to a real human being in the first place. Despite our names being on the baggage, nobody has tried to get in touch with us to try to reunite us with our belongings. We will therefore now be engaging lawyers against Condor.
I wholeheartedly recommend against flying with Condor, particularly if your trip includes a connection with another airline or if you value good customer support. The staff and management of this airline should be ashamed of themselves.

Terrible Customer Service, Baggage Handling, and Onboard Experience – Avoid Condor Airlines
I wish I could give Condor Airlines zero stars. My experience with their baggage handling, customer service, and onboard experience has been nothing short of a disaster. My bag was lost on a direct flight from Frankfurt to Antigua—a route with no layovers, where losing a bag should be nearly impossible. The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency from Condor has been appalling.
After six days of emails and follow-ups, I still don’t have my bag or a clear plan for when it will arrive. While I received an email stating my bag was found in Frankfurt, the lost baggage report has not been updated, and no one seems to know how or when it will be delivered. Meanwhile, I’ve been forced to buy essentials—clothing, toiletries, and other items—since my bag contained critical gear for my trip, including hiking, snorkeling, and scuba diving equipment.
Adding to the frustration, Condor has no representatives at the Antigua airport to handle these issues, and their response has been to direct me to a third-party website that provides little to no useful updates. When asked for contact information for the person handling my bag, I was met with silence.
On top of this, I’ve incurred significant additional costs—taxi rides across the island to buy items, pricey laundry services, and inflated prices for basic necessities in the Caribbean. To make matters worse, most local businesses here don’t issue formal receipts, leaving me wondering if Condor will even reimburse these expenses. Their website vaguely states passengers are entitled to purchase urgently needed items within a “statutory maximum liability,” but Condor refuses to clarify what this actually means or how much I can spend.
The onboard experience wasn’t any better. The food served during the flight was the worst airline food I’ve ever had in my life. It was bland, tasteless, and barely edible. For an airline positioning itself as a quality long-haul carrier, this was beyond disappointing.
The most shocking part? I’ve met other passengers in Antigua who have been waiting for their bags since December 17th! This demonstrates that Condor has no reliable system in place to handle delayed baggage, nor do they seem to care about resolving these issues promptly.
My holiday has been completely disrupted because of Condor's incompetence. Instead of enjoying my time, I’m stuck dealing with the stress of washing the same limited clothing, coordinating with an unresponsive airline, and spending money I didn’t plan for.
Avoid Condor Airlines at all costs. Losing a bag on a direct flight, providing abysmal food, and showing complete indifference to customer satisfaction is beyond unacceptable. If you value your time, money, and sanity, fly with a different airline.
Verdict: Unreliable, unprofessional, and not worth the hassle. Condor has no excuse for this kind of service. Save yourself the stress and choose another carrier.

Online check-in : website is not user friendly, can't book excess baggage online, you need to call them. Almost impossible on the website to find the information for this.
Seating : ridiculously small leg space for long flights
Earphones: you have to buy additionally
Flight attendants: had 2 different people, extremely rude and keep bumping you in passing
Watch selection: limited options
Multiple people were checked in under incorrect names and airlines causing extreme stress as people's luggage got lost as the baggage was sent to incorrect countries due to incorrect check ins.
Will never fly this airline again ever.

We (family of 3) been travelling from Canada to Germany this year in march and I have to say we had an amazing experience. We booked economy and when we are about to check in we have the chance to upgrade to business for all three of us for just a few hundred bucks. The service was great, the stewardess been super friendly. We will be using condor again next year. The only trouble we always have is with the customer service department on the phone, they barely speak English and if they don’t like what we have to say they just hang up on us and we have to call in again and again. They don’t let us know when they put us on hold and sometimes talk to us like kids. Very terrible customer service

Condor better than you think
Ive flown Condor twice between Phoenix and Frankfurt r/t and loved it. Last month I was booked on American to Lisbon returning from Madrid and I much preferred Condor over AA. The entertainment system is worlds better, the food is similar all flights were on time, but Condor pricing was less. And Frankfurt is so much easier to connect in that London or Dallas. My bags were delivered undamaged with Condor not so with AA/BA.I have no idea who so much hate is directed at DE but for me I love em and in May they are taking me to Athens and back.

complete scam!!! They severely damaged my luggage September 2024. I immediately submitted a claim online. I have been calling and emailing Condor without receiving any follow up until today, November 21, 2024. Condor rejected my request for compensation stating that the claim needed to be submitted within 7 days, WHICH I DID!! I will never fly with this horrible airline again and should have read reviews before booking my flight.

I have a rebooking option in my confirmation and they are not allowing me to change my flight due to "technical issues". I didn´t think airlines could get any worse but I should have known that an affiliate of Lufthansa can only be as bad as they are.

I flew from Berlin to Dubai in November
I flew from Berlin to Dubai this weekend and back! 7.11-10.11.Thursday, I took the overnight flight with premium economy and on the way back I had an emergency exit row seat in economy. I have to say, I haven’t had such a nice crew and impeccable service in a long time. I fly a lot and in various different Classes from business to premium economy to economy. The crew those two flights was so professional, friendly, exceptionally witty and just made everyone feel very welcomed. The price for the flight is really good and it is a direct flight. Of course you cannot expect extreme luxury for that price category. That would be foolish to assume. All in all, it was a great experience, good deal as of money and one of the friendliest and authentic flight attendants I have experienced in a long time.

This is the most unpleasant flying experience, and it is also the worst airline I have ever flown on. I advise everyone not to fly with this airline.
When I took Condor Airlines from Vancouver to Frankfurt on Sep 05 to transfer to Zurich, the destination time provided by that flight was wrong (one hour later than the correct time). The flight was a new one and was slower, and it took another flight to Frankfurt. I arrived an hour late and missed the connecting flight to Zurich. So when we rebooked, we explained to the counter employee why we didn't get on the plane, but he didn't accept the reason, charged us another 300 euros, and gave us the wrong ticket, not to Zurich until the boarding gate knowing they had booked the wrong ticket, we hurried back to the original counter to rebook it. With such a delay, we arrived in Zurich 6 hours later than originally planned.
When I got home, I contacted Condor Airlines. They said that the failure to catch the connecting flight was the customer's fault. However, they did not pay attention to, acknowledge, or apologize for the wrong destination time provided by the plane. They did not take responsibility for this, so they all No compensation was received, Only apologized for booking the wrong flight.
This trip cost us not only $300 in euros, but also a waste of time and energy, and made us feel very tired physically and mentally. This is a very bad company.

Worst airline in the world
My flight was delayed by several hours without any explanations. The weather was perfect and there were no strikes. I missed a connection causing me a huge financial loss. I asked for compensation according to EU regulation 262 of 2004 but never received a proper answer.

The worst company ever! best is 0 star i booked a flight online had to cancel it , did that 20 minutes later after booking .The flight was book on the 02 of juni and cancel on the 02 of june 2024 same day but flight dapature date was in august over the condor telephone service the lady i spoke to I made it clear that the flight should be cancel ...... she never explain to me that it was not possible , about 7 days later i receive a bill i then called back condor service asking why i receive a bill for a flight that was cancel less than 24 hours the lady i spoke too was one of the most rudes person i ever spoke to frau Karo from Condor service however she offer to cancel the flight free of cost if i rebooked a different day i said
no ! and she boldly demand me to go and get a credit card to pay it immediately .. when calling condor service they ask if you would like your calls to be recorded however i did accept that my call should be recorded . Since i am asking condor for further investigation i even gave them the date and time with screen shot of the time the call was made ,asking for them to listen to the calls on that very day because i had agree that the call should be recorded till this day they refuse to remove the bill for a flight that was cancel within 24 hours of booking . now am receiveing letter from inkasso ... this is the worst company
