This was my first experience with the dutch expat and I couldn't be happier! My goodies shipped and arrived faster than I expected:) Everything was in perfect condition, and packaged with care. Very pleased!

They just don't come back to me, like they have gone bust.

I have had a delivery from them on Wednesday the 6th and it contained only half of it.
I hav
e been trying to contact them with numerous emails and the contact form doesn't work I only get, 'invalid form key refresh page'. Also no telephone number on their website.

Hi Andis, thanks for ordering. Shipping weight is different from the product weight. Product weight is apprx. 500 grams as shown by the product description. Sorry the difference was 60 grams.

I’ve ordered a couple of times from this site and I can’t fault it. It’s great to be able to order there and it’s affordable. Shipping is 5-6 days to the UK and you’ll get many updates inbetween. I’m really glad I found Dutch Expat to get my Dutch goodies from!

Easy to order and usually received within 5-6 days (UK-Scotland) in very good order and super well wrapped and protected.

They don't want to resolve it.

Dutch Expat Shop Provided Fast Delivery to the U.S. of my favorite European drink!

My wife and I took a honeymoon to Europe in fall 2023 & in Spain I fell in love with the soft drink Schweppes Limone.

But upon returning to the U.S & looking for it, I was disappointed to learn it wasn't sold here.

Around the 1 year anniversary of our trip I decided to search online for a way to get the drink sent to me from Europe. After many dead-ends, I found Dutch Expat Shop.

While the shipping cost was extremely high for someone to order a small quantity, it did become much more reasonable by ordering a higher volume.

I placed an order for a total of 48 cans of Schweppes Lemon (the name is slightly different in The Netherlands it seems) & the total was less than $5/can which I felt was totally fair.

The order was placed on October 17th 2024 & amazingly it was in my hands by October 29th 2024.

I am extremely happy with Dutch Expat Shop and will be a customer again in the future.

Order sent and received quickly. Queries before order were answered quickly and clearly. I have been using this company for many years and they keep their standards up and often go the extra mile.
We are now ready for a Dutch chocolatey Christmas.

What is this payment method

What is this payment method? Either you want buisness or not! Your software people suck! I have been trying to pay for my order and all it does is prompt me to sign up. Figure your things out.

Great experience!

I ordered for the first time, and I'm very satisfied. One product wasn't available, and I got a refund for that on my bank account. The shipment was quick (it took 1 week from the day I ordered everything to get it in my home). The small bottle was wrapped carefully with lots of bubble foil and plastic.

I also liked that the website was clear about how much weight I could add for the same shipping cost.

I'm definitely going to use their service again.

Issue is resolved

HORRIBLE!!!!! Do NOT order from this company. I ordered six bottles of vodka and paid extra to have them special wrapped. Very poorly bubble wrapped. All came in smashed with liquid seeping out of the packaging. Company will NOT respond to me after requesting they do so. Am reporting the company to Paypal and my credit card company.
NOTE: After reviewing pictures of the damaged items company issued a full refund. Issue is resolved.

Untill now, we have not received the photos in a correct extension which we can open.

Best Experience

I recently ordered from Dutch Expat Shop and couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. Living in Dubai, I've been craving my favorite drinks from Belgium and Holland for four years. When I discovered Dutch Expat Shop, I decided to give it a try despite some negative reviews—which I now believe are entirely unfounded.

Was a very happy customer, until there was an issue...

They were very helpful when I couldn't get the payment to work. Order shipped quickly and was received in the U.S. in 10 days. The only thing I would change is some delicate items were crushed, but that was mostly on the shipper - but they could have been more protected. Bought items I can't get in North America and wasn't overcharged like some places try to do.

Edit: Some of the snacks arrived crushed. At first they seemed eager to help, but after receiving the photos and asking how they could fix it, I said that most of the damaged ones were okay except one item and could I get either a refund or credit for the one item. No response after that. Disappointing that they haven't responded to a couple messages sent weeks apart.

Edit 2: Response took a while, but issue is resolved.

3 emails at the custumer service and no answer.
And they have the cheek to send me 2 e-mails to ask me to leave a review.
Now I did, and it's because I haven't the possibility to give zero star that I put one star

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Been waiting for my order since January. All I have been told by them is that FedEx lost my package. No assurances that I would get my order and when and no offer to resend it to me. Horrible customer service. Not sure how they are still in business.

Belgian beer not available in Greece

I ordered two bottles of Belgian beer, that I couldn't find in Greece. I checked the reviews after I placed the order and felt a lit bit anxious due to the fact that most of them are negative. I received tracking of my order and the shipment was very quick, as my order arrived 1 day earlier than the estimated. The box was in perfect condition, the bottles were very well packaged, and I received what I ordered for a reasonable price.

My order is damaged and they never reply to emails

I ordered a large quantity of food early in December but never received it. FedEx says the package was destroyed in transit and asked me to contact Dutch expat shop.
I have emailed and emailed and got absolutely no response. I have called but no one picks up. Is the shop still in business? I am going to write a letter and contact the credit card company to claim back the payment.
