Utterly awful. I booked a changeable flight and tried to change it about a week before my flight. It wasn't possible from their lame website, so after sending emails to 2 different email addresses I found on their website, I eventually called their Swiss number from my Swiss mobile phone from Australia. I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR AN HOUR before the guy told me it wasn't possible. So my changeable ticket was not. I asked the guy what email address I could use to email ebookers (Expedia) and he, the Expedia guy, WASN'T ABLE TO FIND ONE. Check the ebookers/Expedia websites for contact numbers and email addresses they're deliberately made hard to find and don't work when you do.

Hi,
We booked holidays (flight + hôtel) 2 months before our holidays and we payed Everything.
When we arrives in the hotel, we discovered that it has not been booked by the platform ebookers.

hey propose as a relocation in one hotel mentioning that it was the only possible option, in a city very far away from the original one where we booked our first hotel. We were obliged to accept not to sleep on the streets. When we asked again to be relocated to the first city, they refused. We ended up spending our holidays in another city, because they failed to book our hotel in the first place, and to relocate us to that city, even though hotels where available at no extra cost for them, compared to the new hotel. We had a very bad customer experience. We do not recommend to use ebookers at all. Very bad customer service.
I spent 5 hours between chat/calls with them with no result.

Atrocious company. I've spent hours on their terrible Chat service trying to claim a genuine refund on a cancelled flight ticket (backed by the terms and conditions of purchase) and keep getting told it will be 7-10 days then 3-5 days....but nothing comes. There's plenty of other agencies you can buy tickets from and I'd definitely recommend you use an alternative!

Vary bad experience

Hi,

No info about hotel cancellation

No info about hotel cancellation

Booked a hotel, received a confirmation and the next day a message from the hotel via ebookers with advertising for the shuttle service.

A few days later I checked my account and found the booking canceled. Calle ebookers=> there was an issue with the card (might be, payment should have been made in September).

However, I would have expected an email/information regarding the credit card issue - so that I would have had a chance to provide other card details. Would have been a thing of a few minutes and it would have been done.

Or

If they just cancel directly I would have expected at least an information/email that the booking was cancelled.

Ebookers support 1st level was just "Your card was the problem" (repeatedly) and very impolite, not understanding my issue with not having received an information (might be that he was just not able to understand what I was saying as his German was very poor), according to the requested (English-speaking) supervisor a notification should have been sent - well, I received no email from the hotel directly or ebookers (also checked spam).

I'll cancel all my other reservations and will try to book with other providers in the future. That's really bad service...

Beware of ebookers: Unreliable and Unhelpful Customer Service

I recently had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with ebookers, which has left me deeply dissatisfied with their services. I booked my flight tickets through them, expecting a smooth and reliable process, but unfortunately, that was far from reality.

After my flight with Air France was canceled, I was informed by Air France directly that I was eligible for a refund. Relieved by this news, I contacted ebookers for assistance with the refund process, hoping they would facilitate it as they claim to work closely with airlines like Air France and KLM.

However, my experience with ebookers' customer service was nothing short of a nightmare. They not only failed to help me with the refund process but also gave me incorrect information, misleading me about my eligibility for a refund. Despite Air France's assurance, ebookers rejected my request within less than 24 hours, leaving me puzzled and frustrated.

To make matters worse, the customer service agents at ebookers' chat support seemed to be more interested in avoiding the problem rather than resolving it. It was evident that they lacked the necessary expertise and training to handle customer complaints effectively.

Instead of providing clear instructions or helpful links, ebookers simply asked me to "submit my request via BSP Link Refund Application." This vague response not only wasted my valuable time but also showcased their disregard for customer satisfaction.

I felt like ebookers was simply trying to wash their hands off the matter and push the responsibility onto someone else, suggesting I contact IATA without providing any helpful guidance.

As a customer who placed trust in ebookers' services, I am deeply disappointed by their lack of integrity and support. Their actions were deceptive, and they failed to deliver on their promises of assistance and cooperation with Air France and KLM.

In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering booking with ebookers to think twice and be extra cautious. My experience with them has been nothing short of a complete letdown, and I would not wish this ordeal upon anyone else.

I hope ebookers takes this review as constructive feedback to improve their customer service and uphold the trust of their clients in the future. As for now, I will avoid ebookers and seek more reliable travel booking options.

I booked a Flight and Hotel to Ansterdam on Ebookers . the flight part was all good .But then when i arrived at the hotel „New Century „ in Amsterdam it was a shock
Crackhouse atmosphere the first room they gave me smelled like rotten cheesy feet all dirty temperature in the room about 35 degrees celsius you could not open window 2. Room in first sight all clean but the state of the hotel was beyond bearable . i left my baggage in the room went shopping when i came back i took a shower and the i entered the room it was infested with bedbugs and fleas …Nightmare i left took a another hotel the i contacted ebookers and i’m still waiting for refund ..they say they waiting on request of the hotel they should refund directly

I would not even give one star - wordt booking service ever - I want

I would not even give one star. The worst ever booking experience. But one star is the lowest rating.

I have been spending hours to cancel or rebook a flight and now ebookers/expedia after waiting again 35 minutes has forwarded me to Iberia. Sorry you should shut down your company. I want my money back plus the money I have lost spending to get it solved. The experience is a 2 1/2 weeks experience. Compensation for pain and suffering. NOW

Totally incompetent and rude customer…

Totally incompetent and rude customer service--ebookers.ch booked us on a flight to Tenerife plus rental car, however the arrival airport was different from the return airport--however, this was barely noticeable as the airport code differed by one letter. In order to return our rental car at the departure airport booked by ebookers, we have to pay an additional fee. This should have been clearly identified in the confirmation. DO NOT BOOK WITH EBOOKERS

I did buy flight tickets this summer…

I did buy flight tickets this summer with ebookers for all my family, few weeks before departure the company Cancel the flight, I request ebookers to get my money back, ebookers answer is: "no answer from the company", after 6 months I'm not able to get my money back & I have the feeling that ebookers don't care at all, this is my problem. I'll never use this platform again !

IF THERE WERE NO STARS STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH

This is honestly THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER EVER HAD ! I REQUESTED A REFUND IN MARCH AND EVERY TIME I GET TOLD ITS 8-12 WEEKS …….THEY HAVE TOLD ME THIS MORNING FOR A 4TH TIME THERE WAS A TECHNICAL ISSUE AND I NEED TO WAIT ANOTHER 8-12 WEEKS. I AM CURRENTLY ABOUT TO UNDER GO IVF AND HAVE NEVER BEEN SO STRESSED THEY OWE ME OVER £1200...….IVE BEEN PROMISED PHONE CALLS FROM MANAGERS ..NOTHING !!! WHATS WORSE IS THEY EMAIL YOU SAYING WE TREID TO CALL YOU YESTERDAY WHICH IS AN UTTER LIE!!!!!! Poor client service

No recalls, no refunds, nothing. Stuck in the line for far over an hour. When using their portal on the internet you get a reply to call, but you won't manage to reach someone. Very poor client service and refund policy.

never booking with ebookers again. Called them two days in a row to change flight dates. The call kept crashing and approx. 5 different people were redirecting me to different departments.... still didn't fix the dates for my flight. Never again!

Part of a worldwide hotel scam

Part of a worldwide hotel scam. They sell you hotel with nice descriptions and pictures but its bait and switch and put you in a hell hole nothing like the pictures and without any of the facilities and refuse to give any refunds because of their policy on not giving refunds. Customer service is run from Indian and is really awful!! Never use this company if you value your money
