Bottom line was the price. At the end of the day, with often significant price rises across all motoring expenses, anywhere a saving can be made without a compromise on product quality should be taken. Esure have been around a long time so should their services be required (although hopefully not), they will deliver on their product promises.
It was very simple to obtain the quotes I needed, even though the best day for me, according to MSE, was Christmas eve! I certainly got some highly competitive quotes, but I found that I couldn't pay as nothing was working on Xmas eve! However, the esure quote was valid for 15 days so I was able to pay on the following Monday, and receive all the documents electronically. So all in all I feel like a winner!
The Website is a bit of a struggle and vague questions. The staff not very interested in customers and not very knowledgeable of the products or face to face contact with customers. Everything is online NO personal contacts nor telephone numbers. Still have not received any acknowledgement that policy taken out and will be actioned, except that the premium has been taken, No cooling off period?? Unfortunately I have already taken out the insurance, If I cancel its £28!!! Make what you like its my experience of Esure.

No readily available helpline numbers, inconvenient new system up and pay for my…
Unable to phone up and pay for my renewal policy using a card. No customer telephone helpline numbers given in renewal paperwork, so had to search online. Even speaking to a very helpful human involved the faff of getting sent links via email and verifying and keying in information. This is not helpful for those with poor internet speeds, no internet, dyslexia or issues keying in numbers. The experience was much more inconvenient than last year. Forcing everything online needs a re-think.

Not very good at all overcharged me a couple of hundred. I get it that it's a computer generated price but the computer program has to be created pby developers. And the developers will only do as instructed by the business leadership otherwise they lose the contract. I entered all the details of the car I wanted to buy for a couple of weeks time and it gave a price. But that car fell through at the dealers as I wasn't happy with it and the dealer would not negotiate. I then agreed to buy another car same maker, Model, age, mileage no change also my details no change. The same price you would think. Well because I entered start policy today. The quotes on this car increased a couple of hundred pounds. Also my no claims are not protected on this policy either
