Homebase is easily one of the best places to shop.The Herne Bay branch has so many kind and helpful staff.
We needed some paint mixed and they pointed out that they were buy 2 get the 3rd half price. The store is spotless and well maintained. Whenever I go there I know I will be treated with courtesy and respect. Staff on the tills are polite and friendly. A tragedy that it is closing down.

Took some time to find the click and collect order on the system but eventually found it in store - otherwise friendly and helpful staff member so its more of a system process issue I guess

Having been to another well known DIY store where the cashier was on the phone, made no eye contact and only spoke to tell me the amount. Being greeted today in Homebase with a friendly smile and hello at the till by Linda was a refreshing change. She then pointed out my item was on a 3 for 2 saving me money in the future and had a friendly chat while serving me.
Customer service seems to be lacking just about everywhere now and for some people who live alone the person at the till might be the only company they have that day.
Everyone should be more Linda ��

A gentleman helped me find the paint I wanted, nothing was too much trouble.

Linda and Bill at our Herne Bay store always go above and beyond for us whenever we are in store. Even taking heavy items to the car and loading them on safely, entertaining our 3 year old and being generally amazing, it's nice to see customer service at a 5 star level.

Been using this Homebase for years and it never disappoints. Always got a great stock of paints and DIY hardware so no complaints from me. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and on this occasion I was served by Linda who was very friendly and highlighted an offer I hadn't seen. Thank you!

Linda who served me was so kind and helpful. I ordered some guttering and connectors online for collection. The order was ready for collection super quick. One of the connectors for the guttering was missing its rubber seals and despite my concern that this was the last connector in stock Linda sourced the required seals needed. Very grateful to her so that I can complete my guttering today what with all this rain. Cheers!!!

Always polite, always has a little chat while putting your items through.
I wasn't in a good mood when I got there, water leak at home, but after talking to Linda again I left feeling much better and got the job done using the bits I'd bought. Excellent service
