DO NOT BUY!!!

DO NOT BUY!!!! Purchased an item for Christmas on Dec 13th and product was not delivered until Jan 7th. No communication from the vendor. I think this is a fraudulent business that it taking orders without any urgency for delivery. Never stated that product was out of stock - just took over two weeks to process an order. BUY ELSEWHERE!!!

Shady business, buyer be ware.

Most of the positive reviews on their website have strong markings of AstroTurfing. Their customer service guy while generally responsive and optimistic seems to be AI and not comprehending the issue with 30 day delivery times for domestically produced products. My order was made well before Christmas and spent more than 3 weeks before being sent to the shipper- then blamed the shipper for the delays. In no world does it take 21 days to package a liquor bottle for shipping. They don’t have this volume based on the online reviews. This is someone’s side hustle and they suck at it. Shop elsewhere. They are playing games with taking your money and delivering later. High fees and poor service are definitely hallmarks of a failing business.

Customer Service is lacking

Was so excited to find a place that would ship Chicago's Malört to a cousin in Massachusetts. They offered $9.99 flat rate shipping and then charged an extra $10 for collection of a 21+ signatory at the house.
They emailed a couple of weeks after the order was placed, asking how things were and I informed them that my cousin hadn't received the gift yet. They checked into it and emailed back saying that the package had to be picked up from an end point. They said if I didn't pick it up (I'm in Illinois, the package was in Massachusetts) that the package would be returned and I'd be responsible for the shipping charge. They said they can't control what UPS does. True. But you can control what you state on your web site and I paid $19.99 for my 70+ year old cousin to go out in the snow to UPS and pick this up. Had I known how much of a hassle it was going to be, I would not have ordered it at all. I won't be using this company again. Stick with wine.com, it's a MUCH better web site (even if they don't offer Malört)!

Legit Company but Need to be Patient

I ordered an MF Libations rye from Liquor Verse on 11/24/24. After I ordered I read the reviews and was worried it was a scam. But there were some good reviews so I waited. I received an email on 12/11/24 that my order was confirmed so I was hopeful. Today, 12/18/24, I received my order and I’m so excited! Packing was secure, product is perfect, and I have it in time for Christmas, which was my goal. My best advice is to order very early and be patient. I’m thrilled with the product and I can verify this is a legit company.

Hate Leaving Negative Reviews.

Placed an order on May 5th.

They started packing it on May 8th. Shipped it on May 13th. I've received numerous emails from them checking to see if the order was received. When I respond back saying nothing was received they don't respond. I've sent then around 5 emails, all with no responses.

The tracking number they provided now says the order was fulfilled by Vistawine Spirits and the shipment has been delayed since May 15 (it's May 30th now).

I really hate leaving negative reviews, but this has truly been an absolutely terrible experience.

Took order, didn't deliver

Took order, after a couple days emailed saying it was taking longer than normal to fulfill. Reached back out after a week, and only then they cancelled my order. Apparently, they didn't like the good price they had advertised and backed out out. Shady place, stay away.

NOT Recommended

Placed an order, was charged and then after 3 days had the order confirmed. After waiting 10 days and not hearing anything else or receiving the goods I had purchased, reached out to their customer service. Two additional days later I heard back and was informed they didn't have the inventory to fulfill the order. They actually then asked what I would like to do!? Um....refund my $ please. I wonder how long they would have held onto had I not followed up. Very sketchy.

Positive Experience

I read lots of bad reviews and was a little nervous. However, they had some items that I couldn't find anywhere else so I took a chance. Thankfully, it all worked out. My order did take slightly longer than some other retailers but nothing worth complaining about. All in all a positive experience. I would order from them again.

Deliberate misrepresentation of available products

Deceptive business practices and intentional misrepresentation of products they have in stock to sell. They even went as far as to notify me that the product I wanted was finally in stock again only to fail to deliver the order due to being out of stock.
Oh, and there is ZERO customer service. No way to speak to anyone about your order--only email which they respond to intermittently.
They will happily take your money, but getting the order is another story and customer service is a joke.
Horrific experience. Grade F. Use this company at your own risk.

Only use if you have too

Liquorverse is not a scam. I have placed multiple orders through them, and all have been delivered EVENTUALLY. I have had some deliveries show up in days, while other times they didn’t even have the product in stock and I had to reach out in multiple forms, multiple times in order to receive any contact and be informed of the delays. The only reason I use Liquorverse is because they are the ONLY place that has the product I buy. In this case, there is not much of an issue so long as I make sure to order ahead of time and stock up. As far as a service to supply your typical bottles that are available in most liquor stores and grocery stores in California, I would not recommend using this service. Their prices are not discounted, and customer service is non existent. Good luck getting things fixed if there is ever a problem with your order.

Dishonest

Dishonest, scam company. Weeks later, wont respond to emails, lying group of people.. I want my order. This item was shipped to distributors well over a month ago.. Sell items they cannot get or don't have in stock and then just hope. F- 0/10 One of the worst
