Bought a PC worth 3.400$ pc came with software problems which made the system unstable and made me lose money asking me to get it fixed when it was bought like this and warranty only covers hardware, nowadays these company's wanna do whatever they can to squeeze out money from your wallet.

I had a very disappointing experience at PB Tech Purana Road Glenfield. I went in to purchase a printer wire and encountered poor customer service at the checkout. A staff member named Mr. Liu was particularly unhelpful and rude. When I asked a simple question about the price difference, he responded in a manner that lacked basic courtesy. It’s frustrating to receive such treatment while trying to make a purchase. I hope the management addresses this issue to improve customer experience in the future.

I have always had a positive experience with PBTECH, It's my most trusted & loved store when it comes to tech. My packages always arrived well packed & in comparison to some of its competitors I've noticed its great pricing, especially when they have sales.
I've never had to contact customer support as I've never once had any issues in the multiple transactions I've had through them.
Recently I had bought the more expensive shipping 'only deliver Saturday' and two days from purchase it had arrived early hours of Saturday morning, this was around boxing day too so I could imagine the couriers would have been very busy.
Generally I usually find my products posted to me within the next few days of purchase.

Would highly recommend this store if you're considering who to buy from

Just got my laptop back from having the RAM upgraded. It took one day with the expectation of 1-3 days. It is running like a dream and the constant buzzing sound has also been remedied which is something I'd not discussed or expected. Thanks heaps to the service team at PB Tech Wellington - a pleasure to deal with as always.

Took my pc in to get fixed akl it…

Took my pc in to get fixed akl it needed was a new CPU been in the shop for 2 weeks been a huge pain in the ass. It is not that hard pb tech I could have done it my self in 20 mins and for free

My favorite store when it comes to tech

I have always had a positive experience with PBTECH, It's my most trusted & loved store when it comes to tech. My packages always arrived well packed & in comparison to some of its competitors I've noticed its great pricing, especially when they have sales.

I have been to this store ar Penrose

I have been to this store at Penrose, the guy Daniel tells he is manager , approached him, no proper greeting says" what " and when I asked about product he says this is not electric shop go else where , rude behavior , absolutely shocking behavior, "PB Tech sells. also cheap worthless products.
and I told him off better learn how to respond and respect customers. He tells be get out . Hope raised in a decent family and born to real biological parents. .could not even speak proper English.

After spending $4000 in the WELLINGTON…

After spending $4000 in the WELLINGTON SHOP thinking if anything breaks I can easily buy a replacement part.
This is not true!!!!!.
My son broke his laptop charger I paid over $2300 for.
I went into this shop,too be told no they don't have replacement parts or wouldn't even look,there online customer service was sympathetic at most stopped there.
I explained why would I buy something I couldn't buy parts if things happened.

I will never buy from this company ever again,there counter people are useless at best and have no people skills.

Found a better shop that helps people after they buy things.

DO NOT BUY PC'S FROM PB TECH

Purchased three PCs totaling nearly $17,000, and over two years, we’ve faced constant issues with faulty hardware. Despite repeated trips to the store and documented evidence of the problems, PB Tech has consistently refused to acknowledge the issues, showing a lack of service, communication, or care about the significant inconvenience caused. We’ve spent countless hours traveling back and forth, unable to fully use the products we paid for. With all issues and job references thoroughly documented, the biggest mistake was trusting PB Tech. Save yourself the frustration—shop elsewhere for PC builds and hardware.

Laptop RAM upgrade

Dishonored agreement and poor customer experience

I went there on Black Friday and secured a Jabra earbud for purchase. However, because they didn't have it in the store, they mentioned they will bring it to that store to get it ready for me to pick up. I was given a printed order confirmation.
4 days (Thursday) later I received a text message requesting to pick up the product as it arrived, I went there on the weekend and met with the same guy who ordered it for me. I handed over my papers and to my surprise he said the agreed price is no longer available for that product, although clearly the order was made to secure that price (now 30% more).
I even reminded him that upon ordering I proposed them to pay on that day but they said: "no don't worry you can pay when you pick up"
This is poor customer experience but the worse thing is that they were not apologetic, with no empathy and didn't show genuine intent to solve the problem and satisfy a customer.
I think as a retailer or any organization providing a service should honor their agreement - I'm sure there are options that are available for me if I wanted to engage with customer protection unit in NZ but don't have time for that.
Easiest for me is to share my experience as much as I can to as many people as I can to make a difference where possible. Believe me, I have already made a difference (even slight but meaningful enough) - Many of my colleagues and friends will no longer buy from there thanks to my experience.. well done.!

At it again..

At it again... Ordered five external drives for my systems, saw that PBTech had 5 units in Christchurch,
Great I thought they will be here within 48 hours if not sooner - maybe same day. BUT OH NO - Can't NOT inconvenience the customer instead of sending stock from the nearest store and then replenishing the nearest stores stock - lets send them from oh I don't know Wellington never mind the fact it takes longer and the customer has expectations that we will get what they need to them quickly. We could just send them from the Christchurch store and have them there in an hour but nah! that's just to damned hard.
Now what I was hoping to get the same day on the 3rd will not get here til the bloody 9th.
Great way to inconvenience your customers guys - Wonderful customer service.

Bought 500 bucks worth of reolink cctv

Bought 500 bucks worth of reolink cctv, salesperson told me I need a SG card for it so bought one.
Camera turns up, doesn't work properly plus there's a SG card that comes with it.
Sales people need to know their product.

PB Tech No integrity

I bought a Lenovo Smart Frame from PBTech. Unbeknown to me at the time (2021) there was no app support now for the last 5 years. Plus it was faulty as stopped every 30 mins and a long process to restart. I used this twice for family Christmas photos. I have been verbally promised a refund from PBTech superviser but have been given delay tactics and the run around for 2 months now. Very dissapointed with the faulty product and PB Tech's lack of integrity.

Reliable, fast, good customer service

Had a 6cat cable delivered overnight from Auckland to Wellington, even though my order was placed late afternoon. Have shopped at PB tech for years online and in store and it’s always great service.

Worst place ever for customer service…

Worst place ever for customer service help- or complete lack of. If independent self service is fine with you it might be okay but for any assistance or questions not a chance- seems understaffed and limited staff unwilling or unable to help.

Very satisfied repeat customer

I've using PB Tech online sales for years, whether click and collect or delivery. I've used them for both business and personal needs. Good range, good prices and good service, they are my go-to for all tech from laptops, phones, screens, networking and all the rest.
So many successful transactions, I often don't bother to check their competition.

If you want to be ripped off go to PB Tech

Misleading to say they offer the best prices or even do price matching. Overcharged by $100 for a monitor so not even close to being the ‘best’ as they call themselves even at sales prices. Will be avoiding in future.
