How they are considered credible reviewers I don’t know, we watched a movie they rated highly, one of the worst films I’ve ever seen. Not considering their ratings again on movies

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The way this site is laid out is utterly useless. You search for top films and it does not even show where you can view them. It does not score 1 star it scores zero. Fire the geeks and get some real people with some common sense and your ratings will skyrocket.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have an account with rotten tomatoes, but try as I may I can NOT find any way to leave an audience review. If you try to contact them all they do is direct you to FAQ. I've followed their instructions on the internet, but the type in box NEVER comes up on my account. The most appalling website.

Rotten Tomatoes can’t be trusted.

Really bad anything woke they rate high even if it’s garbage also anything conservative they will rate really low no matter what these people are paid shills by Disney you cannot trust their critics reviews and even their audience reviews some people say on woke movies they delete negative reviews while keeping positive ones or flat out fabricating reviews.

It's clearly left leaning

It's clearly left leaning. Any movie that has a politically conservative stance will get slammed by critics even when the audience reviews are in the high 90 percentile.

The idea was brilliant

The idea was brilliant, execution was....well it needs to be executed.

The concept of reviewers trained (or at least paid) for the art Vs consumers/viewers etc was inspired. Two groups who could score something on it's artistic merit and enjoyment levels would give any fan a true reflection of what it is really like.......but with a lot of these things, it thinks too much of itself and forgetten what it's there for.

Rotten Tomatoes has gone the way of all big American sites, they now see themselves as more important than that which they review and have mixed their politics and policies in with their external content. It leaves everything needing to fix with RT's own personal world view and not that of the majority. Their new tactic to clean up the stats is to limit those reviewers to only a few who sign up to their own streaming services. So less of a majority view point and more of a RT dominated space.

R.I.P Rotten Tomatoes, I'd like to say you'll be missed, but I very much doubt you will be. You go to join all those (once) great sites like....thingy-ma-bob, that one with the thing and.....I can't remember it's name now but I'm sure I will at some point, in the temporary internet files of our computers hard drives

Rotten Tomatoes is Rotten/Corupt

A review site that does not let real users review the movie or tv show. What an absolute joke of a platform. Rotten tomatoes was once my go to, now you know it cannot be trusted.

It is paid shill critics, who pump crap films, and trick people into watching garbage. Money and sponsorship has ruined this once great platform, into a greedy waste of time.

I used to rely on user reviews, and they were mostly always accurate. Are there any alternatives to Rotten Tomatoes? It truly is rotten now

The Acolyte was reviewed bombed by Disney not the Fans

The Acolyte was reviewed bombed, but not by the fans......the fans have given it 14%.....the paid off critics that Disney have under their thumb gave it 85%.....which is complete bs, and a lie. It's not as good as the original star wars, fans hate it.....not because of gay actors, because of the badly written script....if all Kathleen cares about is diversity without amazing story telling, and trying to send the message....then it'll fail.......fans told you loud and clear, yet Screen Rant lie.....they'd rather have access than the truth by writing false narratives that simply don't exist. Fans are allowed to have an opinion and say this ones a piece of S$$T.

Absolute joke of a review website

Absolute joke of a review website. It's either full of glowing reviews paid for by production companies or review bombed by moron users.
This may have been a reliable source for film and TV reviews a couple years back but now it's certainly untrustworthy and should be shut down and forgotten about.

Something rotten this way comes

I'd give them half a star like you can on their own website. RT is not interested in honest reviews. I have posted a number of reviews on films and shows I like and don't like. Guess which ones keep disappearing from my profile? You're wrong if you said the positive ones. I keep posting them, they keep removing them. RT are part of the problem with why we have so much bland entertainment now. Media companies can always rely on them to put a positive spin on their crap shows so there is no reason for the media to stop making it

Rotton Tomatoes are out of touch.…

It wasnt until i saw that Disney decided that their job wasnt to produce likeable content for people to enjoy, and therefore turn in a profit, but rather that it was to alienate their fans by delivering movies or television that focuses on the wishes of a small margin within the population..... [a bad business idea if I ever saw one]...
....and then Rotton Tomatoes caught my attention. Here is a body of movie critics that seems to sing praises for unpopular entertainment.
I'm not sure why anyone would put faith in the opinions of critics that get it wrong time & time again. The ever widening gap between the critics opinion and that of the everyday viewer is enormous

Rotten Tomatoes: Unreliable with contempt for the reviewer

It often happens that my review of a film is initially posted and then disappears after a few hours and never returns.
My reviews meet all the conditions set by Rotten Tomatoes.
In that sense, Rotten Tomatoes is an unreliable and unpredictable organization.
My questions about this to Rotten Tomatoes received no substantive response.
If they act unprofessionally and with contempt for the reviewer for something so simple, I wonder what the reliability of their scores are and what interests influence these scores.

This site is totally untrust worthy

This site is totally untrust worthy. Clearly reviews can be bought. The mind blowing fact is the the shills are paid peanuts.
Rotten tomatoes is owned by Comcast ( NBC, sky, Universal and peacock) and Warner Brothers.

RT gave me PTSD

I usually like RT and use it frequently. But today, I was looking up a family friendly movie and they blasted me with a popup for Bad Boys - A very loud and violent preview. If RT is reading this please add some context when deciding what preview is blasted in front of a user. I've now got PTSD from your flashing me with that violence on the middle of watching family movie reviews. I'm calling my lawyer now.
