Ablehnung in diesem Jahr sei und die meisten von ihnen indische Staatsbürger seien und jeder von ihnen ein sehr hohes Einkommen habe. Als ich dies mit einem meiner deutschen Freunde besprach, beantragte er dasselbe Auto und das Angebot wurde innerhalb einer Stunde angenommen. Es ist lustig, dass es solche Organisationen noch gibt.

Our sales associate with the car24 was a great guy, and when we spoke with him,he told that it's the 14th rejection this year and most of them are Indian citizens and everyone one of them have very high income. When I discussed this with one of my German friend, he applied for the same car and the offer got accepted within 1 hours. It's funny that there are organizations like this which still exist.

The credit cards are only for germans - Santander in Germany targets their products only for native german citizens. The same with Zinia credit card , they are automatically rejecting the foreigners. I will contact Amazon USA to break this cooperation with Santander. I hope Amazon USA is fair and solve this issue

Employees are rude maybe underpaid as normal in Germany.
They hang up on your face and communication is ALWAYS a fight.
Worse is none of them can speak an average of English.
This is a shame for a Bank but they got a fight with me if they want to.

SANTANDER SCAM, WORST BANK
SANTANDER SCAM! SANTANDER IS THE WORST BANK EVER. INITIATED CLOSING THE BANK ACCOUNT 3 MONTHS AGO WITH ZERO BANALCE AND THEY DID NOT CLOSE IT SO MY BANK ACCOUNT AMOUNT BALANCE IS -600 EUR, MINUS. CAN NOT RID FROM SANTANDER BANK. SANTANDER BANK IS THE WORST BANK EVER. DO NOT LET SANTANDER BANK SCAM YOU!

Punished for paying off credit sooner
I took a loan with no penalty for early pay off. However after sending the full amount of the balance, they refused to credit this amount and instead held the money somewhere in escrow and kept taking only the monthly payment and charging me further interest which made me have to keep sending more money. I called so may times and the customer service refused to help me or tell me a clear answer as to why they didn't credit the loan. They would hung up on me and laugh at me. I wrote e-mails and letters and after 2 months I finally got a ridiculous answer. Now 3 months after sending the full amount of the loan my loan is still not settled. I will report them now to the authorities in charge of this complaints in the German government. I don't recommend this bank at all.

I received a response from a decision…
I received a response from a decision maker who reviewed my account and offered a resolution. Possibly, the Customer Service person that I had a bad experience with was a lone Representative who did the company a disservice.
I would like to say.. Santander has offered a compromise to receiving a bad customer service experience. The young lady I spoke with was professional and willing to express empathy to my experience. We were able to come to a great outcome for both me and the company in addition to letting me know that the service I received was out of the ordinary and should have never experienced bad customer service. Thank you Santander for a great recovery and a happy outcome.v

Online banking is a nightmare
Online banking is a nightmare. You have to do everything by post. You can't even fill in a tax exemption form online. I sent it by post but they lost the form and never processed it, so I paid more tax that I need to claim back now... For the sake of your mental health, avoid this bank.

So, I applied for consumer loan, a personal loan for me, so whatever I do with that money is my problem. Now, after filling the online application, they called me to ask why do I need the loan for? I said it’s a personal loan, whatever I do with it, it’s my worry. But because the lady was asking again and again, I said ok, we want to buy an apartment in our home country, and are taking money for that, but for you, the bank, that should not matter, as you are not involved in any of that. But she said, sorry we do not finance property. Hahahaha.. this girl does not understand difference between a personal loan and a mortgage 😂 How can a bank run like this I do not know. But their rates are very good, so I would still try next time I need credit.

Keep blocking my account without any reasons
After every transfer to my own account of another Bank Santander locks my account and it takes for ever to unlock the account. It is always the same transaction, but they don't get it. Don't use this bank!!!!

Slow responses
It's easy for foreigners to open an account at Santander in Germany. But for non-German speakers, it's not easy to use their services. You have to use translation software to read their website, app, and emails. In their store, you can hardly find a member of staff who speaks English. And when you send your enquiries on their website, it takes weeks for them to reply to you.

Last year i purchased KTM bike with Santander 12months financing, i had all documents needed and the process was easy and everything was finished in 15min.
This year Juni KTM financing was over and I wanted to purchase new electric Bike. Hervis gave me one fair offer and the play time with Santander started. 3 day we have online written and talked over telephone for 1900€ financig. Absolutely everything was gaved to them and every single other day something else was needed that for my previous Bike was not needed. After all headaches I was forced to quit and look for other Bike somewhere else. (Money and my salary was never problem) Never again with Santander financing. I wonder what would’ve been needed for ca 5000€ electric Bike. Only 10 days before this Santander called me and offered me 15000€ consumer kredit, because I was eligible😂( I did not accepted) and 10days after I am not eligible for 1900…

7 weeks to answer support requests. Or fly 1500 km to their branch.
I have their Giro account now for half a year. But suddenly, I can't transfer money to other accounts. When I call, they tell me everything looks ok. I should send a screen shot which I did. A day after, I still could not use online banking. But now they tell me answering emails takes 7 weeks! I should be patient or visit a branch in person. Well, I'm out of the country right now and I do not think flying from Spain to Germany is a viable option. I do not know who runs their customer support, but somebody needs to be replaced.

Horrible customer service over the…
Horrible customer service over the phone. When I asked if anyone can speak English with me I was hung up on. Second when I contacted them in German, it was very hard to even finish sentence or say what I want to say not to be interrupted in the middle of the sentence. I could just feel annoyance after first question "Do you speak English?" Short answer no, only German. Followed by irritated answers by my each question. For only that reason this is first and last time I am cooperating with this bank

Incredibly rude staff
I wake firstly into the bank branch of Santander to ask for Business Account opening.
When the staff saw me at first, she said directly to me "no, we don't have business account".
I said "yes, you do. I saw it on the internet".
She then said to me "yes, only for companies with 5 millions of EUR".
Well. I will never go there again, even with 5 millions of EUR sitting in my company! The most snobbish bank is Commerzbank!! Santander is the same!!

Tried to use their service to buy some stuff online in Credit. But Santander simply doesn't have any service. In one month I didn't get any positive or negative decision. Just wasted time. I wouldn't recomend to use Santanders "service" !!!

We switched to Deutsche Bank
We switched from Santander to Deutsche Bank due to the poor level of service. Santander gave little help with our home loan and provided no help over the phone.
