We ordered a 2.5 seat Aissa sofabed right at the end of October and it arrived well in advance of Christmas. We've had various guests use it as a bed over the holiday period and everyone has commented on how comfortable it is and how well they slept, both with one person using it and for two.
The sofabed itself has exceeded our expectations in terms of how it looks and how comfortable it is to sit on. It's improved our living room and fits perfectly, despite being positioned in quite a tight space. It feels sturdy and well-made and the mattress is clearly good quality, in contrast with some other sofabeds that we viewed in showrooms. We're particularly pleased because we'd been struggling to find a compact sofa that works as a full size double bed.
Because we needed this for Christmas, we didn't view it in person and took a bit of a punt on it. We were quite nervous about this at the time, but we are delighted with it and couldn't be happier.

Couldn’t fault the service we received. We were served by a wonderful assistant in the Bath store and ended up buying a corner sofa and a bed settee. Delighted with both. We were promised delivery before Christmas and that was the case.
Very helpful staff in getting us the best deal

We had a chair delivered that we quickly decided was not what we wanted. Extremely uncomfortable and poor stitching in parts. We contacted Sofah. Com straight away. Now it has been 4 emails plus 2 messages on instagram. There is NO PHONE contact. I know it has been Christmas, but we have had no contact from them in response for 9 days. They say you are only allowed 14 days to file a want to return an item, so they are making this difficult already.
The lack of service and contact is appalling, the chair was over £700.
The experience so far is that returning an item is absolutely NOT easy as they claim on their website. Do not buy from this company in case you want to return and get a refund.

Bluebelle sofa - do not buy
I went in to Sofa com and sat on the Bluebelle sofa for quite a long time. It was so comfortable and looked lovely so I ordered it, at a cost of 2.5k. When the sofa arrived I immediately noticed that the cushions weren't very thick. Then I sat on it and my back was hurting after 5 minutes of sitting on the new settee. Over the next few weeks, I tried everything to make the settee comfortable but it was impossible , due to the extremely poor quality of the sofa and the cushions I received. I couldn't understand why this was so different to the experience I had in store. Further research online has shown me that many people have this same story and it seems that the showroom sofa models are vastly different quality to the sofa you receive. I complained to Sofa.com and they sent out the " repair company" Emmiera, who said the sofa was fine, which it clearly wasn't. I continued to complain, as I have paid a lot of money for a sofa that I literally was not able to sit on. A nice customer service guy offered me new cushions, which, in desperation, I accepted. When I got in touch with Sofa.com to arrange delivery they advised me that the nice guy had left and he shouldn't have offered me new cushions, I can have new cushions but I'd have to pay for them. I told they they were insane if they thought I was going to give them more money on top of the 4 .5 k they have had from me ( I bought another sofa and pouffe too at the same time as the Bluebelle) to buy more cushions when it's their fault for sending me such poor quality ones in the first place. Then they said they would send me the cushions for free, only because they had been promised by the previous adviser but usually I would have to pay and this was a one off. The new cushions are better quality than the originals. I have measured the seat cushions and the new ones are 3 inches thicker than the old ones . I'm not sure why they are better quality , surely they should all be manufactured to the same standard. Never again would I buy anything from this company. Many other customers posting about having to throw out the Bluebelle sofa as they couldn't sit on it too. It's an absolute disgrace that such shoddy goods are being sold at such high prices. I was devastated that I'd spent so much money on something that was useless .It's even more concerning that the sofa in the showroom is so different to the one the customers receive. I would avoid Sofa.com at all costs

Very helpful trying out in store
I was able to look at, and try out the sofas in Plymouth House of Fraser, where Scott was very helpful. He was patient, knowledgable and informative, and quite happy for me to sit as long as I liked with no pressure, which I was grateful for as you’re spending a lot of money. It was hard to choose a colour from the small swatches, but Scott brought out much larger swatches, which again made a big difference. I would have ordered in store, but due to the store suddenly closing due to electrical problems, I ordered online. I didn’t receive confirmation, and was concerned it hadn’t gone through so I rang the helpline. The lady was indeed very helpful and confirmed that it had. I was given a two hour delivery window a few days before the day of delivery, but received a phone call earlier on the day to say they were on their way. The men were very careful about dirty shoes, removed the packaging, fitted the legs and positioned the sofas where I asked. All in all very smooth. The sofas are a bit hard at the moment, but slowly softening up and becoming more comfortable. I’m very pleased with the colour. I have a small room and they fit perfectly.

Beautiful Sofa
From buying our sofa to having it delivered was just perfect. Everyone in the showroom were very helpful and patient! Once the sofa had been made, we were offered time slots for delivery. We were still decorating and sofa.com suggested later dates to fit in with us which was just perfect. Delivery was excellent. We were contacted 2 days before as promised, giving us a 2 hour time a lot, then on the day the guys called us to say when they were arriving. It took them about 10 minutes to arrange the sofa and I’m delighted with it. I would recommend sofa.com to everyone! Excellent!!
