We had great service throughout.
We visited the showroom, but ordered online, all ongoing communication was via email and very promptly dealt with. The delivery was great and the men very helpful pl
acing sofas in position and explaining how the sofa bed worked. The sofas are lovely and mine work well in a small place so pleased to be able to use a local company and would highly recommend.

I was unable to visit the showroom but I had a video call with Christine who showed me the range I was interested in, and even lay down in the settees so I could gauge their length in real life!

Ordering was a doddle. I was able to specify the earliest date I could accept delivery, and the whole experience was painless.

I'm really pleased with my settee, chair and footstool. They look to be very well made, and are very comfortable. I would definitely shop at SofaSofa again.

First class customer service and products from SofaSofa.

We live more than 150 miles away from the show home, but we made an unbooked visit on the way to visit my dad. We were immediately pleasa
ntly surprised by the showroom set-up (a massive range of furniture in a very spacious room) and the staff were fantastic - very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We made a return visit a month later, and placed an order.
Communication from the company has also been first class. Delivery was on time and was very smooth, carried out by two friendly and professional men.
We are extremely happy with our lovely, extremely comfortable 'Lydia' two seater sofa and two arm chairs, in teal. We certainly recommend SofaSofa and definitely wouldn't hesitate to order from this company again. Thank you!

I ordered a beautiful leather sofa. I have two dogs so have to try to keep their claws from the leather but the leather is strong and I have leather cleaner. The lady on the phone when I gave my order was extremely helpful, and the gentlemen who delivered my sofa were polite and came at the time they said they would be here so all in all a very good experience.

Good products, you won't be disappointed!…

This company make good products at a reasonable price. I would go as far as to say that they are excellent, very well made. We had 2x3seater and a two seater for our sitting room. They must be about 10 years old and the cushions never go flat. They still look new. ( I don't have any dogs or cats).
Recently, in October, I bought a two seater for my conservatory and its beautiful. You are spoilt for choice in colour and fabrics. A friend once said that I was taking a risk buying from Wales when I live in Yorkshire but I have never been disappointed. I bought the recent sofa in a sale and saved twenty per cent .

Excellent

My new sofa is perfect

My new sofa is perfect. It is exactly what I wanted and is really comfortable too. This is the 4th sofa I have purchased from Sofa Sofa over the years and they have all been very well made and durable.

First class customer service and…

First class customer service and products from SofaSofa.

Don't waste your money

We purchased a Mezzo 3 seater leather sofa and arm chair at a cost just shy of £2000 from this company in 2021 and although we had good service from the sales person at the showroom that’s where the good service and good experience stopped.

Upon delivery the delivery drivers looked at our front door and decided that it wouldn’t go through the door frame and refused to try even though we’d had other sofas which were larger fitting through the door and after suggesting that they try it via the back door they had a look and again decided it wouldn’t go through there. I got my measuring tape out, measured up and told them it would be fine, they reluctantly tried and it went straight in, it just felt like it was too much effort for them to try – I’m certain it would have gone straight through the front door too.
Our leather sofa had an issue with one spot on a leather seat cushions where the leather was coming apart and after contacting them, they inspected it and advised that they would replace the cushion “purely as a gesture of goodwill on this occasion only” and then replaced the cover.

We now have an issue where the leather on the arm rests have indentations and dips from where arms have been resting on the arm rests – SofaSofa refuse to do anything as it’s “normal wear and tear and out of warranty” – now I’d understand if the sofa was 10+ years old but the fact that it’s not even 4 years old and hasn’t had much ‘traffic’ using it is a bit ridiculous – my belief is that the padding underneath the leather is just not good enough and is unfit for purpose for use as an arm rest – SofaSofa refuse to do anything to help.

We also have an issue with one of the boards on the arm rest construction having failed and collapsed, again SofaSofa have told me that despite the frame having a 5 year guarantee the boards are not covered by the guarantee – my belief is that the boards on the arm rest are not thick enough and are unfit for use as an arm rest – SofaSofa have said they would collect the sofa, inspect it but will not offer any repair if the conclusion is not covered under the guarantee – I’d also be without the sofa for approx. 14 days and be liable for delivery charges.

When purchasing this suite we were under the impression that it was of great quality however we quickly found out that our previous £800 leather suite from Ikea was much better quality.

I’m all for giving great reviews for great service and experiences with companies however I will never purchase anything from SofaSofa going forward and cannot recommend a company whose furniture are not fit for purpose.

Only 3* because...

Only 3* because...
I placed my order in person at their Crumlin Showroom. Collection was expected to be from the same office, and nothing to the contrary was discussed when I placed my order. A company called Oakridge Direct phoned me but because I had no reason to expect a call from this company I did not answer and blocked the number expecting it to be a nuisance call. It transpires that Sofasofa is part of Oakridge (which is located in Rhymney...near Merthyr) Very confusing.... So Oakridge had my order meaning that either they could transfer my order to Crumlin for me to collect or I could collect from Rhymney... dates for collection from Crumlin could not be agreed as being convenient to me. I chose to collect from Rhymney.
My order should have been transferred to Crumlin prior to notifying me it was ready. The staff at this office (Rhymney) were not at all inviting or friendly.

Bentley level customer service

Spending so much on a sofa is nerve wracking when you read all the DFS horror stories, these guys aren't even that expensive in comparison to such yet the quality is outstanding, a different league. I had one I didn't love and with absolutely no hassle whatsoever they changed it for me, every customer service rep and accounts team etc I've spoken too has been unreal, I've never experienced better customer service. Even the delivery drivers were top guys. The only issue I found was there aren't enough photos on the website showing different angles of the sofas which is why my first one was returned, if they fixed that they would probably have less returns and more orders. 10/10 still.

Super quality furniture and very good customer service

Super quality furniture and very good customer service.My daughter moved to Cardiff and bought her sofas from sofa sofa who I had never heard of. On a visit to see she took me to their showroom in Crumlin which was great. Spent a couple of hours looking at all the different sofas and deciding. From ordering to delivery everything went perfectly and all staff I dealt with were helpful and polite. The two delivery guys (we had the same ones twice as decided to order another chair) were superb. Ordered the Chiswick sofa and chairs in a bespoke fabric and extremely happy with the result. Waited a while to write this review as we had items delivered in August but they seem to be wearing very well and don't look/feel any different to the day they were delivered. Very impressed and will definitely use again.

Albany sofa poorly made

i have an albany sofa apparently you have to wash the whole sofa to keep the colour the same throughout as it fades (i've only had it 2 months and the arm cap had a slight mark but i've got to strip the whole bloody thing) and it has dropped in height making it extremely difficult especially for my ill husband to get up and down off. the customer services said you went for the softer cushion option so expect this but as i explained it's dropped 7cm from the advertised specifications in 2 months. I reckon by christmas we'll be sitting near enough on the floor. like they say buy cheap buy twice! i haven't even paid for it yet either!

Marvellous sofas and service

Took a chance and ordered a sofa, chair and two footstools online as they were the only company I could find who gave the option of loose covers (essential if you have dogs!) plus they were British made. I absolutely love my new furniture - marvellous quality and I’m so pleased I went to this company. The people on the ‘phone are lovely and so were the delivery guys. Would definitely only buy from them in future. Highly recommend.

Summer visit and purchase - positive

Visited the showroom a little while back (mid August) and got my items delivered on 21 August 2024. The showroom was perfect, welcoming but not pushy and we got plenty of time to look round the extensive stock. Lots of nice options and we found the ideal armchair and sofa. Liked the fabric and colour options, and paying etc was easy. There seemed to be a good level of staff. Manufacture and delivery was fairly quick and easy to arrange, and after a few months of use the furniture still looks lovely and is in good condition. I'd use Sofa Sofa again and may do so for a loveseat or small sofa!

From the lovely woman on the phone, who was extremely helpful to the delivery men who again were polite curtious and funny ,our experience was first class..absolutely love my three seater Madrid sofa and armchair . Top quality , good price and I can wash it !

Pleasent staff when ordering over…

Pleasent staff when ordering over telephone and was kept informed of delivery date. Delivery day time was a little earlier than stated but was telephoned to see if convenient. Helpful and pleasent delivery men. We are pleased with the 2 Madrid sofas so far but I have not washed the covers yet to judge. I was apprehensive about ordering from a brochure but I was pleased with telephone staff, product and service.
