Even 1 star is too much.. worst customer service.... no answer on email after 3 weaks and 2 emails sent... called them on the phone and the girl just ended the call at the middle of the discusion.. And at the store they cant help me... sorry but it will be the last time buying at Surplus Rd

Worst customer service ever, people are nice in store but when it is time to call and make claims for damage appliances or furniture, they are the worst and not even bothered to give any compensation for the damage caused and there is no empathy and really unorganized. The agent from store say to call customer service and they can help and compensate for the damage and I called and they were not helpful at all and instead made me call the brand itself. They can’t help much more.

Excellent customer service ordered Monday delivered Friday. Delivery guys put it where I asked them, very helpful and pleasant. Was a bit nervous after reading some of these reviews but when it was unwrapped wow!! Gorgeous furniture, very good quality. I bought the oak and white bedroom furniture really pleased with it. Would highly recommend

Francois at the LaSalle location was the least pushy salesman I've ever dealt with, making our purchase a pleasure. Furniture arrived at the specified date and time. We asked about the bad delivery reviews we had seen and he explained that late deliveries were due to people ordering items that were out of stock, he was very honest with us about the warranty, we chose not to take it as the things we were concerned about weren't covered. We are loving our new sofas

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever, people are nice in store but when it is time to call and make claims for damage appliances or furniture, they are the worst and not even bothered to give any compensation for the damage caused and there is no empathy and really unorganized. Vers Bad experience and 0 knowledge of customer service

What a bad experience when you are in the store they are very nice but after who they have you card 0 customer service we bought for over 4000$ the table was used and quartz was broken we asked to change they said yes but we waited all day the deliveryman never showed up we called they said that the table was discontinued but it was not true there was online in another branch and then they said they would compensate us for the day we waited for the deliveryman for $50 a real joke we had to go to the store the bedside tables they have different drawers one is white and another is brown it's not normal these people are supposed to be professionals but they have 0 knowledge of customer service it's frustrating one thing is for sure never buy anything from them and I do not recommend to my entourage I will make a good review on IG

Worst experience ever.

Worst experience ever.
We bought a couch in january and we were impressed by the fast delivery.
Although after unwraping the couch, we noticed that a part on the side was damage like if the leather had peeled off.

We contacted the number on our bill right away, like the delivery guy told us to do.
Took a very long time before getting an answer, and they refered us to the internet site for a reclamation.

We did the reclamation and then waited. We tried to call back a couple time after 1 week, then 2 weeks... but the unpleasant people on the phone said we would get a call eventually. Unable to help us immediately.

Took them about 1 month to answer us the first time. They were asking for pictures and decription (informations we sent already a month ago with our reclamation).

They took a couple weeks to get back to us and then offering to reimburse us 100$ on our 3000$ couch. We nicely declined since they delivered a damage couch and we asked for it to be replace with a new one.
They replied a couple days later with a second and final offer, to reimburse 300$. We declined once again since we were expecting to buy a new couch and not a used one. We wanted it to be exchange.
They then informed us that a technician would come to our place and would fix the couch.

We waited again for a couple weeks, then a technician came by to our house, stayed not even 5 min. Took a look at the couch, then said it would need to be changed. He told us he would send a report and that the compagny would get back to us soon.

We waited again for an extra month (now in april) before we get a new email from the customer service saying they recieved the ''piece'' and a technician would contact us to schedule an appointment to repare the membrane of the couch. We then questionned the fact the technician said it would need to be changed and then complain to them about how long it was taking to resorve our problem. We asked again to get a replacement of the couch they wrapped & delivered even though it was clearly damaged... but never got a straight answer. They always send empty answer with no true content.

We waited again for a whole month before recieving yesterday a new email informing us that they recieved the piece and a technician would call us to schedule the appointment. We tried to message them back asking why it wasnt done already since they informed us last month about getting the membrane already, but once again we got an empty answer with no direct response to our questions. I even asked them for a number to call to make an official complaint but no direct answer.

To be honest the couch is decent (if u dont look at the damaged part on the side), but not sure the couple hundreds we saved buying from them was worth the headache of dealing with their customer's service. Im pretty sure a robot could have respond better to our questions and complaints than their people.

Horrible business. Useless customer service. I would not recommend.

Misleading Information…No concept of customer service

Bought chairs from this company that were defective. Upon trying to return them I learnt that all sales are final. No one in the store mentioned that sales are final. No where on the front of the invoice does it say sales are final. It does say it on the back of the invoice in small letters after you pay. Tried calling customer service but no answer. Need to communicate over the website and customer service is no helpful. They only offer a credit. A business in Quebec should no be allowed to operate this way. STAY AWAY from Meubles RD.

Wardrobe arrived damaged, scam company

Wardrobe arrived damaged, drawer runners are stapled on very weak, the wood is very poor quality, handles are cheap plastic and was advertised as quality wood with metal handles. I contacted the company they said they would replace the damaged Wardrobe and pay £50 compensation.not had anything and now ignoring my messages. Don't buy from this company

WORSE STORE EVER

I give them 0 stars, this is the worst store to buy from.
It is true they do not give a rats a.. about customer service. In fact they go out of their way to make things worse by sending automated emails they tell you to ignore. They have promised me a phone call a month ago & as recently as 2 days ago & still nothing.
DO NOT BUY THERE!!!!
I give them a FAILING GRADE.

Never buy from them. They have an old fashioned way of doing things :
ALL SALES ARE FINAL (ON WEBSITE OR ON SITE) they just don't give a single f** about the customer
My Chair I didn't picked up, it still there and I wanted to cancel 36hrs later they refused to do so.
The on only thing they brag about is they are proud Quebecois.. WHATF**** EVER.

It's actually zero stars

It's actually zero stars. They have the worst cliente services. We bought a sofa that came in defective. There is an arm that is lower than the other and some folds around it. They offered 90$ to compensate something that should have never left they depot. Obviously, they don't have quality control of their merchandise. Their automated services is garbage. We bought it in may and had delivered in june and we are still dealing with their poor services. They would not listen to our email and the guarantee email asking to be reimbursed. We are contacting the consumer protection. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! Never again I will give this kind of business another opportunity. Stay away!

Zero stars actually

Zero stars actually. 1500$ washer/dryer set. "Free" delivery only includes on the sidewalk, so I pay the 60$ to have it delivered inside. When they get to my house, the delivery guys inform me that to put them upstairs, it's another 60$, when on the site it says "in the room of your choice". I'm alone, not about to haul appliances upstairs, so I paid their little hustle. But now I am p*ssed about 120$ "free" delivery.

You know the sales are final... after you buy it

Never said BEFORE that sales are final. What you get is sales are final written in the BACK of the invoices, what a scummy practice, now returning is super cancer, having to deal with chargeback.
Even companies who went bankrupt like Sears said FINAL SALES. Surplus R and D NEVER bothered to say it.

EDIT: They reimbursed me on my credit card without too much fight. I just returned to the store and asked for it gently. Bringing the stars to 3 for being decent on this point

DON'T BUY

Seriously, do not buy from them it's a TOTAL scam. They won't write it before you buy the item but the sales are FINAL. So if you don't see your receipt between 24 hours you can't cancel and they don't give a shout about it. Here's what I received as an answer ''we will not take note of your complaint as these policies were determined by and for the company. If you think you have a case with the OPC, you are free to do what you want.''

MEUBLES RD = Worst company ever.

How can a store this bad and so arrogant with their customers and scamming them in the process over and over still allowed to sale legally in Canada. They are crooks and criminals in my book read the reviews and i can tell you from what i just experienced all those reviews are 100000000000000000%%%%%% true and even worse. They do not honor anything they promise you!! You will lose money , face , time , they will even go as do damages inside your house and claim it was your fault for buying during a busy period. At Meubles RD it's a business mentality to screw over the customer while staying arrogant. Never they will apologize or bow down or offer anything to you.

Do yourself a favor never buy there.
Tell your friends the same.
Please if you have 1 oz of self respect stay away thank me later. Stay safe from evil people like them.

keep away from this store. save yourself trouble.

They are very nice when you are buying furniture, but don't call them when the furniture arrives broken or cracked. they will tell you that you have to call the company that shipped it. "ZERO customer support." also one of the items did not arrive, we called them and they said back order next month, it is now over 5 months and still no furniture. UPDATE: they told my wife today, she has to wait till next year. I will drop the pieces that they delivered in front of their store tomorrow and god help them if they do not refund me. do yourself a favor and keep away from this cheep store. there is nobody responsible there.
