I really wish I would've researched the company before I backed the Transformer Table 3.0 project.

The original delivery date was December of 2019. Eight months after the original date I still have not anything. They started selling the same products from the kickstarter on their website before they even fulfilled all the backer orders. The company keeps throwing out dates that are never met.

On the kickstarter page they promise that backers would receive their orders before the customers who order from transformertable.com. When contacted by customers who order through the company's website, the company promises that those customers would receive their orders first. This company is dishonest.
I wouldn't be surprised if most of the positive reviews are fake.

If I could give zero Stars I would. I am one of hundreds of people who paid for their order back in October as part of the kickstarter campaign and still have not received anything. And when I mean we haven't received anything I mean we haven't received anything! no apology no shipping information and apparently they are unable to predict when we will receive our shipping information. That is the latest information I was given by them. I don't believe a single review on here by people that say they received their product in a timely manner, especially ones that say they received it within a week. But if that is the case it means that they took people's money 8 months ago and are filling orders for people that ordered three weeks ago first. This information will come in useful when a class action suit is brought against them by the many of us that are planning it. Do not waste your money on this product, this company does not deserve your support. Trustpilot, I implore you to do a deep dive on the reviews on here because I would be willing to bet my non existent transformer table that they are completely made up by the owners.

ZERO STARS
Ordered on May 7 with a promised delivery for the end of May. I have called every week and keep getting told they will contact me the following week. I have reached out on social media, and they delete my posts. I doubt that I will ever receive my table and benches.

I have been waiting over 6 months as a Kickstarter supporter with no delivery of products and no communication as to what's going on. Worst experience ever! They were very quick to take the money but never followed through. I saw a message from a previous campaign supporter that has been waiting for over a year! Save your money!

Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional customer service.
They take your money and then ignore you. 3 requests sofar aboutexpected shippingdate with no response. Many that I have talked to have been waiting for over a year. Stay away until customer service and delivery times improve.

We ordered our table in June (and paid in full at this time!) and were told we would receive it by early July. Unfortunately the time frame came and went with no news from the company. My wife had to call and e-mail multiple times to try and get updates when none were provided. We finally got someone on the phone who told us to call back at the end of the month if we haven't heard anything. This would be almost over a month later than they promised delivery. We had sold our table and got ready for the new one (because we didn't have space for 2) assuming delivery would be accurate. It is appalling that they can not tell us when we will receive a table, and put the onus on us to call back if we haven't heard anything. I would expect much better, that they would be informing us when our table will be through production, and anticipated new delivery dates. We were not offered any benefit, discount or anything other than a "sorry" for missing delivery by over a month. I hope the table is great, but if you are ordering one, please be prepared for late delivery and poor customer service.

Ordered our table on June 1 and received it the following week. We love our table. We live in a condo so the additional pieces weren't practical. It's a quality product and yes, it's heavy! No issue at all with the customer service as it wasn't required, everything went well and we received our table in a sturdy packaged box. All in all we'd definitely order from them again and have told our family and friends about them as well. Thanks!

With limited space in our house but still wanting to host family dinners, this was the perfect solution. It tucks away nicely while not in use and gives our kids all that floor space until company comes over. Only minor issue has been a couple dings from shipping that we are still waiting on touchup paint to fix, but otherwise very happy!

My husband and I placed an order for the Transformer Table 3.0, two benches, and the Transformer Coffee Table 3.0 in May. We were promised a delivery date in late June. It is now mid-July and not only have we not received our order, we are finding it impossible to get a response from the company with a new shipping date.

We ordered the transformer table and two benches, and we are very happy with our purchase! They are both easy to use, my 12 year old can change the table on her own. The customer service has been great and we would definitely order again, we plan to get the coffee table!

Ordered my table and bench and very happy with the product. It works exactly as advertised and is a solid product. We’ve been using it as a combo work/dining table and looking forward to being able to host dinner parties again once we are allowed to have larger gatherings at home. The only hiccup was with the shipping company which showed up unexpectedly without calling to schedule a delivery date/window but nothing that can be faulted to the people at Transformer Table.

I love the concept, the table fits perfectly where I needed it. However I was expecting this to be family heirloom quality. It is not. The finish easily scuffs and scratches and we have a few places where wood just chipped from normal daily use and cleaning. Also almost immediately one of the leafs for the bench broke, I had talked with customer service, they were kind and said to email about getting a replacement. I never received a replacement. I did receive a super tiny bottle of touch up paint. The leafs in the benches do not stay together they wiggle apart and pinch my children. Now while trying to figure out why the legs on my bench were so loose the leg easily broke off. This is the worst purchase that I have ever made.

It frustrates me to have to write this poor review for what seems to be a great product I was looking forward to receiving. On June 14, 2020 I purchased a Transformer Expandable Dining Table in Hardwood and Transformer Coffee Table 3.0 both in Canadian dark oak (order # US-3115). Within one day, I received an email stating “your order is on its way”. Today is July 9, 2020 and I have yet to be contacted as promised by the Logistics Department confirming my ship date and tracking number. I was told it would take them 5 days to call me and still not call. Furthermore, most of the time I call the customer service number during business hours, I get voicemail. Now I have to go through the process of trying to get a refund for a product I was really excited to get and could use. You seem to have a wonderful product but your customer service is dreadful. Just manage your customer expectations and tell them the truth!

I love my table! The whole experience with Transformer has been great. I had questions that were instantly answered through their customer support and then when I thought I had ordered the wrong bundle they worked me through correcting the order (turns out I just didn't read the email correctly). Even though the issue was on my end, their support was gracious and efficient. The table and bench arrived right on time and the best part.... PRE ASSEMBLED. The only thing I had to do was take it out of the box (store the leaves) and enjoy. The pieces are lovely and sturdy. Even fully extended they don't shake or feel any weaker. I had the fun experience of having my whole family over and watching my skeptical father go from "You have nowhere for us to sit" to "WOW this table is amazing!" When it's not extended it takes up less room than a small desk and fully extended it sat my whole family with room to spare. If you're looking for a table that can fit any need any any event, this is it.

I ordered the table set up with bench and coffee table as an early birder via Kickstarter, last year in October, I have had zero communication from the company and no product. This is so upsetting, this company has failed so many, check all the systems, it's almost all the same feedback. And on facebook, they have disabled anyone who makes a negative comment or asks about why there has been an 8 month delay so far.

We love our transformer table!! It’s so versatile and we’ve had many ppl ask about it already! Great customer service, no issues with delivery and the product arrived in perfect condition. We didn’t get the coffee table for storage and have just been laying the panels flat in our office in a corner. Works well for us this way. Excited to have bigger groups over to have it fully extended! Only thing is you may want some seat cushions for the bench for longer periods of sitting. Otherwise, this table is fantastic for dining and for getting work done!

I find it funny that anyone would claim this company is a scam. I did not experience any issues with this company. Customer service responded quickly and was helpful when I wanted to change my order to add the coffee table and equally as helpful when I changed my mind. I ordered the table in black and two benches. One of the benches is serving a decorative touch in my entry way which is so nice. Be forewarned however, this table is HEAVY lol and I mean heavy... it attests to the quality of the wood but when you unpack be sure you have at least one other person to help. Looks expensive and well worth the price, so happy with my table!
