This company is a SCAM!!!

This company is a SCAM!!!! After literally weeks of getting approved with them, they decided to put an 100% reserve on my account and is holding over $4k, refusing to respond to my questions, and simply ignoring me. The fact this company is BBB accredited blows my mind… that will change soon. STAY FAR AWAY I have yet to receive a “sorry for the inconvenience” or literally anything. They are destroying my business by withholding funds unlawfully. Absolutely horrid service, needs to be reported!

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to report concerning business practices by one of your payment processing partners, Zen Payments, based in Utah. As a prospective customer who attempted to utilize their services, I encountered multiple issues that I believe warrant your attention as they reflect poorly on partners associated with Authorize.net.
My experience with Zen Payments has included the following issues:

Potentially fraudulent application documents that were sent to me, which the company later claimed they had "nothing to do with"
Unresponsive sales representatives who failed to address my inquiries about their fee structure, which appears to deviate significantly from industry standards
False claims by their sales representative about having previously responded to my questions
Unfulfilled promises from management, specifically from Jake Barnhart, VP of Sales, who:

Promised to contact the processor to correct the questionable documents
Committed to being available via call or text for further assistance
Failed to follow through on any of these commitments despite my providing evidence that contradicted their sales representative's claims

Initially, I was encouraged when Mr. Barnhart reached out on a Sunday, which suggested the company was taking my concerns seriously. However, their subsequent actions have demonstrated a pattern of misrepresentation and lack of follow-through that raises serious concerns about their business practices.
As a trusted payment processing solution provider, I believe Authorize.net would want to know when one of their partners is potentially damaging the reputation of companies associated with your services. The lack of transparency, accountability, and basic professional courtesy I've experienced suggests that Zen Payments may not be upholding the standards that customers expect from businesses affiliated with Authorize.net.

1) No potentially fraudulent documents were sent to you. Our bank sent your boarding agreement with the correct format for a sole proprietor. All of your information was correct.

2) Our records show multiple call attempts, emails, and texts to you that were not responded to. Our VP of Sales reached out to you outside of work hours to remedy the situation.

3) No calls were made to the management team outside of the Sunday point of contact. We reached out to you twice on Monday to cover your questions and to let you know we had sent the boarding application. To which there was no response.

Be Careful

Processing with them was great for about a week. After that, got a random hold on all funds being paid out and put into the reserve which is putting my business in the negatives now. Ticket was created asking me to explain some discrepancies which I quickly addressed and explained in under an hour, but NO response after. I now can't process at all while they "review".

Your account was placed on hold for unverifiable transactions and multiple ACH rejects. We have attempted to authenticate these transactions but have not been able to due to your site being down and the necessary information not being collected. When we are unable to bill an account, or verify that a companies transactions are legitimate, a funding hold may be placed on the account until that is cleared up.

Fake 5 Star Reviews - AVOID At All Cost

They opened an account for my business but altered the terms of our agreement.

Zen Payments also added a 10% reserve with no clear reason or explanation on when funds would be released.

Be very careful with this company. The lazy explanation of fees / holds and opening accounts with altered agreements should make you think twice.

Mickey Robertson was so transparent and helpful . I thought I would never get approved but this man helped me gain the confidence I can get approved . If anyone leaves a 1 star they are a pure hater and their business is grossing under 100 dollars a month . Ignore the haters because these guys are struggling to make a profit so they going to take it out somehow . My business was hardest to approve and Mickey had his 💩 to get his on point

Great onboarding

Great onboarding. Other providers have messy portals interposed between us and onboarding staff - directly emailing and having Bridger assist via email and phone was great.

I have probably dealt with around 11 payment processors and by far and away this was the best onboarding experience I've had.
