Moved broadband to EE from virgin. They promised to pay my early disconnection fee and it’s been a total nightmare. Apparently it was gonna be seamless but there is no sign of my money. Trying to get an invoice from virgin but they are rubbish as well. Don’t believe anything these guys promise, absolutely useless

BT to EE transfer. The most infuriating experience. At least FIVE very long phone calls to BT/EE to transfer over (this is at BT’s suggestion). Kit delivered and then BT requested we post it back because they needed to restart the order afresh (3 phone calls) but unclear reason why! Today after a 40 minute phone call and two weeks later told that a transfer over was not possible. A complete waste of time and resources. Different people each time and no continuity.

There was 3 attempts to fit my new router as they kept cancelling, twice on the day of fitting. After a week of swapping dates they swapped out the speedy BT tech for EE and that's day 1 of the issues. Thought I'd give them a week to adjust however different devices keep dropping out, can't load movies on my TV anymore, my phone is slow to load websites now and my security cameras keep disconnecting from the WiFi completely now. The EE tat has been removed by myself and Virgin are coming tomorrow to fit me out something that works since BT have been sold off to Kevin Bacon. BT have lost a customer who was more than happy with their own broadband, definitely would not recommend

Where do I start awful experience since December 20/24 received a request from BT to renew my contract to EE, after several calls I was put a full works package which I later decided to cancel and go to my normal deal and was told could not and had to wait several weeks which I did, rang later got change over and was told if I added my mobile would get a better deal, was conned I feel, my cost went up and could not cancel given an email that did not work was out of time ,Problems getting my new sim to work had to get Technical support to sort it, Big hassle no turning back now.be careful before any commitment.Reg P

Waiting for the Disaster !!
Reading these Reviews !! I have a feeling I may have signed up for a disaster !!!! Their expertise is sending out Messages , saying it is delayed because of Openreach . They convince you at sign up , you won’t see any problems !!! Looks like they have trained the Staff to be very good Liars .

Went from £25 a month to £38 a month… 😱🤯😞
Went from £25 a month to £38 a month for their crap connection of under 17mb couldn't even have a video call with someone without constantly freezing.
Get 2 mobiles online and the system couldn't handle it..
Now moved to Gigaclear and got 200mb for only £19 a month

EE You’ve got one star as zero wasn’t an option!
EE , why don’t you read and take note of the reviews written here? Your broadband is shocking but more importantly you don’t care. We call you and can’t get through (probably because you are inundated with calls complaining about your inadequate services) So we try the live chat to just be told there is no problem. Well, yes, there is a problem. I am paying for a service that I have not been able to use for over a week. I work from home, I am losing money So unfortunately, will not be able to pay my bills this month. And the first bill that has been shafted is you so don’t say I’ve not told you.

Terrible broadband

Very Painful process after ordering full fibre given two false install dates which I wasted two days off work, still not installed, its not about the time its about the misinformation no clarity and still don't know when it will be installed.

The worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. Endless phone calls promises to call you back, long rediculous waiting times absolutely useless tech staff that just want to get you off the phone
Charging for things you haven’t used without apologies, complaints that go unanswered.

Then 8am one morning knock on the door big guy yellow coat can I come into your house No I need to sort broadband No come back,I am deaf plus a dog No ID no van outside house. No support from EE or BT for there customers

We were forced to change from BT
We were forced to change from BT, which we have had little to no problems with, to EE broadband. As myself and my wife work from home we took out the "always on" paying £65 plus a month. To start with just setting up took over two weeks and an engineer having to be sent out and now, this week, our broadband keep dropping. This shouldn't be a problem because it should automate change to the 4g back up. It does. Can you speak to anyone at EE who knows what they are talking about? Of course not. There reply is "we will turn it off and on again"???? I've done that myself? What are you? IT? There is obviously a proper problem that was guaranteed by yourself never to occur as we would "always be on". Absolute sh*te show

Couldn’t be worse
Existing customer moving house, what could possibly go wrong!!
Unquestionably the worst customer experience of my life (and I’m in my 60’s). Over the course of 3 months I have spent nearly 2 full days on the telephone being fobbed off and passed from pillar to post. Every call a different story.
No need for me to relate the events, you only need to read the reviews that have gone before me.
Words of advice, write everything down names dates duration of call and do not assume anything anyone says to be correct.
If you have an alternative provider do not opt for EE for either broadband or digital landline.
You have been warned!!

Was advised to move from BT to EE and it would be seamless. Far from it, a protracted process, variable wifi, endless telephone calls and they still trying to charge me £80.99 per month for broadband only!

EE Broadband
Been waiting to get connected from their sister company Plusnet over to EE, the mobile discount sounded good. I was considering going to Vodafone and I ordered it and they offered me a £100 Gift card but I cancelled that sign up and spoke to EE which I was glad of at the time for the mobile discount but he mentioned he would quite happily apply £70 credit to my account. I've spoken to somebody on EE chat this evening as I am now connected to the Fibre Internet. She was saying there is nothing on the account regarding £70. So I then said plz listen to the phone call and you will hear it. She said my Manager is listening to the call now but it is quite long its 30 minutes call. It wasnt even 30 minutes when she replied back and said my manager says there is no mention of a £70 there. I said are you saying I am lying, she as made me feel horrible, I feel terrible and being called a liar I feel. You can get the transcript and read that and let us know if anything is there but im sure you wont find anything. I did apply for transcript and it said i'll receive it in 1 month. Honestly I have 14 days cooling off period and I am thinking of moving on to another provider now, i've been with Plusnet all these years and being a sister of BT and EE, I have never ever had a single problem with them. I am disgusted in it all. To top it up its my Birthday, what a great day i've had, Not! I am very upset, very very upset.
A update to my review:
I got through to another person who happened to be a supervisor, in the wales call centre, he was lovely and helpful and listened to the 30 minute call with his collegue and it was right they did say £70 and said sorry and as a good gesture of will they made it £100 in credit. Smart Hub 3 USB Port Useless!
Bought an EE (BT) broadband contract and was supplied with a Smart Hub 3. On connecting it, I discovered I cannot use the USB port to hold a memory stick which, on my previous Hub 2, would act as network storage. What is the point of REDUCING functionality? Research of the issue revealed many other disgruntled users. Why would BT/EE do this?
