I guess I should read reviews first and wouldn’t be conned by sleaze introductory offer. But ee slowly managed to increase my bills without me noticing as no communication at all about increases .
So now my bill is 50% higher than when started, which is criminal.
Can’t wait to end it and then never again.
By the way, wifi connection through out my house isn’t any better than other providers, and I tried few .

Moved broadband to EE from virgin. They promised to pay my early disconnection fee and it’s been a total nightmare. Apparently it was gonna be seamless but there is no sign of my money. Trying to get an invoice from virgin but they are rubbish as well. Don’t believe anything these guys promise, absolutely useless
I am absolutely furious - after receiving notification from BT that they were using EE, (a supposedly superior service with excellent customer service) I have been left with the worst service possible. My BT service worked 'ok', so I was excited to hear EE would be better. I'm now tied in to a 24 month useless service. I have purchased boosters to no effect. I did ask for an engineer to ensure everything worked as it should, but I had to be refunded as he came, plugged it in and left. This is so frustrating as CS are not interested. They test and say everything is fine. Well it's not. How do they get away with this?!!
BT to EE transfer. The most infuriating experience. At least FIVE very long phone calls to BT/EE to transfer over (this is at BT’s suggestion). Kit delivered and then BT requested we post it back because they needed to restart the order afresh (3 phone calls) but unclear reason why! Today after a 40 minute phone call and two weeks later told that a transfer over was not possible. A complete waste of time and resources. Different people each time and no continuity.

EE Broadband
Been waiting to get connected from their sister company Plusnet over to EE, the mobile discount sounded good. I was considering going to Vodafone and I ordered it and they offered me a £100 Gift card but I cancelled that sign up and spoke to EE which I was glad of at the time for the mobile discount but he mentioned he would quite happily apply £70 credit to my account. I've spoken to somebody on EE chat this evening as I am now connected to the Fibre Internet. She was saying there is nothing on the account regarding £70. So I then said plz listen to the phone call and you will hear it. She said my Manager is listening to the call now but it is quite long its 30 minutes call. It wasnt even 30 minutes when she replied back and said my manager says there is no mention of a £70 there. I said are you saying I am lying, she as made me feel horrible, I feel terrible and being called a liar I feel. You can get the transcript and read that and let us know if anything is there but im sure you wont find anything. I did apply for transcript and it said i'll receive it in 1 month. Honestly I have 14 days cooling off period and I am thinking of moving on to another provider now, i've been with Plusnet all these years and being a sister of BT and EE, I have never ever had a single problem with them. I am disgusted in it all. To top it up its my Birthday, what a great day i've had, Not! I am very upset, very very upset.

I got through to another person who happened to be a supervisor, in the wales call centre, he was lovely and helpful and listened to the 30 minute call with his collegue and it was right they did say £70 and said sorry and as a good gesture of will they made it £100 in credit. Smart Hub 3 USB Port Useless!
Bought an EE (BT) broadband contract and was supplied with a Smart Hub 3. On connecting it, I discovered I cannot use the USB port to hold a memory stick which, on my previous Hub 2, would act as network storage. What is the point of REDUCING functionality? Research of the issue revealed many other disgruntled users. Why would BT/EE do this?

Should be no stars
Should be no stars! I’ve had 10 days of hell trying to renew my BT broadband, TV and phone package. I’ve been with BT for over 20 years and EE about the same so I’m not a new customer . Over the years we’ve had some broadband issues but by and large these have been resolved. BUT this time I’ve been set up with packages I didn’t ask for, quoted a different price every day, told lies, promised emails that never arrive, promised call backs that never come, asked to return equipment that I don’t have and spoken to at least 12 people and ended up with no tv channels or sport until next week. This company is a complete shambles! I am beyond frustrated, annoyed and at a loss as to where to go next…..,

I switched from BT to EE broadband "for faster speed" as they advertise. So, from 45Mbps /BT broadband/ to 7.27 Mbps /EE broadband/ ...and they call this superfast broadband.
Do NOT recommend at all.

How can this company improve? Where do I begin? It will never improve as it is an anti-customer designed organisation. Inconsistent and dishonest. Said my previous BT (same company) would stay £29.99 until next March, then go up to £33.99 I agreed to that and what happens? £33.99 went through today. I have cancelled them. We had problems with ee years ago but I thought they might have improved. Don't touch them!

3 months and no wifi!!
Transferred to BT WiFi on the 14th November 2024. We did not receive a broadband box for 3 weeks after cancellation off old WiFi provider. Engineers visiting the property were supposed to arrive in the end of December, yet did not. After numerous phone calls and complaints, openreach was blamed. An engineer finally visit in the start of January, to which the external work is supposedly going to take 12 weeks to complete from the 3/12/2024. Absolutely shocking length of time to fit a broadband box, no compensation given apart from a 4g box to run phone WiFi. Really disappointing when the WiFi is for a lonely grandparent on his own during Christmas! Would not recommend this service to anyone.

WOW reading the reviews here l don’t l…
WOW reading the reviews here l don’t l will bother BUT l will say we have only been with EE one month and still waiting for the extra mini box (that we paid for in package) they offered my daughter a Tablet ad a good will gesture (free) and box will be sent out in 2 days that was last week? Called them one and half hours to get through, told there’s an error on account asked what was error reply……l don’t know…. THEN told the tablet was not free nor a gesture and will cost £14 a month WTF
So sent back, so anyone reading the reviews on here or any other reviews sites think long and hard before committing yourself to change to EE if you are with SKY (and it pains me to say this) stay with them, better the devil you know…… EE brag for 11 years they have been voted best supplier/ coverage, l am not sure who decided that result probably there own staff….

Were happy to take me from BT to EE…
Were happy to take me from BT to EE before contract ended, as same company. But when EE didn’t deliver, and I wanted to go back, hey presto there’s “early termination fees”. This is called anti competitive behaviour. The ombudsman got involved and told them to sort it out, but have they? Nope. The worst provider on the planet, you spend DAYS on the phone, trying to talk to someone with the IQ of a potato.

Pull you in then want to charge you more!!
Moved from BT to EE due to better phone deals. Advised that it was like for like. Had speed issues after installing new router. Engineer visit booked and didn't turn up. Rebooked and told us speed coming in was fine but EE routers are "rubbish"
Had EE Engineer booked and appointment was cancelled 45 minutes into booking window. Rebooked and tested speeds all good coming from the router. Now I admit I was credited for missed Engineer visits which is fine but we still have a issue with a ps4. The speed to the ps4 is so slow you cannot play a game unless it's hardwired which is not possible when in sons bedroom. We had no such issues when we where on BT. This is where I started to become frustrated as I was told that they can solve the problem by moving me to the new wifi7 router. I would get a box that could be plugged into the ps4 and all would be good. But only if I pay more money!! So I've gone from a service which was fine. To one that isn't and one that only wants more money. I asked if I could cancel and they said yes but it would cost approximately £400. So stuck with the issue or pay us a wad of cash to leave. Absolutely unbelievable. I would not recommend EE and I will now be looking into moving my phone contracts and eventually will leave the broadband service too. Customer service is appalling. Been with EE for phones for about 20 years back when they where orange. This is how you treat your customers?

Terrible service
I switched my home WiFi from Sky to EE because my contract with sky was coming to an end and EE were one of the only few companies offering service in our area. Shortly after switching we began to experience problems with the WiFi dropping signal very frequently 10-12 times a day and each time from 5-30 minutes. Since our initial technical issue we have had more than 8 visit by openreach to try and fix the problem which we have been told is apparently due to the EE hub which we have also replaced 3 times already !!! I contacted EE to cancel our contract and move to a different provider but I was told that as per the contract because when the signal doesn’t drop we get the minimum 11 mbs speed it doesn’t constitute as a default in the contract and that if I want to end the contract early I have to pay a £155 penalty. According to EE they only default from the contract if I have no service for 30 consecutive days, if my service only works for a few hours each day and not the rest of the time it means that they are providing the service which they should be ??!?? This to be seems ridiculous

Managed after a week of no communications that could help get my mb working, to speak to EE personnel, JOE. He was absolutely brilliant. And knowledgeable.
He talked me through the settings, correcting the errors and my mb was soon up and running. He was so patient and a total asset to EE. Well done! You are a star. ⭐

This company charges too much. I was paying £47 a month for my broadband. I am now paying £17 a month with another provider with better broadband

EE must be in over its head
EE must be in over its head. This is a first world country right ? I could probably get broadband set up in Botswana faster. What the ever loving hell is taking this so long? I ordered my broadband on 20Dec24 and they said they couldn’t turn on the service until 9Jan25! The day of, I learn they meant midnight on 9Jan25. The 10th I learn that there is a fault in the network and it might be ready on 15Jan25. Get it together EE. I expect some compensation for this. Please contact me.

They are a nightmare
They are a nightmare! I've had multiple accounts with them for home and office. Since the merge of operations between them and BT, they have been hopeless. I stopped using BT years ago as they were so bad.
Customer services is a joke with them.

Appalling, use another company
Ordered internet and although I had been told it would go through the flat - it did not.
Had to have it installed with router in my bedroom which was not convenient.
They did not meet the delivery date and I had cancelled my other internet.
Then they fitted it and the broadband did not deliver from one end of the flat to the other despite it being with the stated parameters.
Price was bumped up to £50 per month just for broadband in a three bed flat.
Then on 18.12.24 broadband went down and still has not been re-installed.
I am now paying and extra £50 per month to have WiFi broadband because the original braodband is not working and I am still being charged for it.
EE do not contact me to let me know what is happening, but they can always manage to charge me.
EE would like me to take out mobile phone contacts with them - I don't think so - I prefer service provision

I wish I knew what I know now
I wish I knew what I know now. Promised it would be cheaper - it isn't! Promised great connection with broadband - it isn't. Can't be fixed engineer said to wait a few days for it to settle....is it 1960! Sad I have left BT and even worse sad I left Sky even though it was mega expensive it was super fast and very efficient. Come on EE just read these reviews and get your act together. You are one of the UK biggest providers and your services are poor at best.

Customer service sub-optimal
Our broadband and signal is fine, no complaints but it was too with BT. What has changed since switch is billing and customer service. I received and SMS and emails saying latest bill is ready, click here to view bill but nothing, takes me to a home page all sales, deals, mobiles, sims… but not my bill visible. Totally useless.
Also called them to add a sports package, it was a Saturday lunchtime, hoping to see a 5:30pm game and a Sunday game. Told 2 days before added to my account. In this digital age, what takes two days? Cancelled that. Where did BT go?

If i could give zero stars I would, do not waste you time or money getting this installed. Multiple engineers out "i have reprogrammed your router and the speed is good now!!! If it happens again you will need a new router, we are having issues with this particular one." Next day crap signal , call customer service explain the situation and the same thing - useless
