Having used GoodtoGo travel insurance previously I was confident they would provide my wife and I with good a value policy this time! We obtained full cover with our medical issues at a very competitive price. There helpline assured us we would have a worry free trip this time.
I have done a full year’s policy with another company, which was about £350, when they told me that it was going up to over £900. At that point, I told them to forget it and that I would shop around for a better price, despite the fact that I have never had to claim. At first I thought that all holiday insurance had gone up to an extremely high level, however, I didn’t give up and just as well. My policy for a full year, is very similar to what I was paying last year. So well done, Goodtogo, at least some companies are asking for premiums that are more affordable.

I rang good to go for advice on a medical assistance matter. The customer advisor was very patient and explained things in simple language. Fortunately I did not need to claim but at least was able to make an informed decision
I would not hesitate to use GTG in the future

We booked travel insurance in October 2024 for travel to USA in March 2025.Unfortunately in November 2024 my wife was diagnosed with lung cancer. I phoned goodtogo,but was informed that I had to make a claim via travelclaims, which I did and sent them a confirmation letter from consultant regarding my wife`s condition. They then emailed me back saying that they needed a form filled out my our GP. Why wasn`t a consultants letter good enough? We were then refunded our full costs by Virgin Atlantic so I emailed travelclaims and said I would no longer be pursuing our claim and could I have a refund as obviously we would not be travelling. Was then told to phone goodtogo ,which I did amd was told that I would receive 70% refund BUT they need to be told by travelclaims before they could process it although I`m the policy holder! So another email to travelclaims, then a further one 2 weeks later.Was then told to phone goodtogo to confirm. Was then told, { on 26th.February } that I could expect only 50% refund,less their admin.charge as I was cancelling outside of the cooling off period!!! I was an emergency situation not a change of plan.I will never use this company again.
