How to organise a campaign

Find all the information you need to organise your initiative campaign. Remember, this is a year-long European campaign with the goal of collecting at least 1 million signatures while also reaching the threshold in 7 EU countries.

Overview

Collecting over 1 million verified statements of support from EU citizens in at least 7 EU countries in 12 months is easier said than done. To overcome these challenges and succeed, it is essential to prepare your campaign plan well in advance and secure the necessary resources before you begin gathering signatures, by:

  • building and coordinating an effective campaign team across different countries, languages, and partners;
  • creating clear and coherent core campaign messages, while leaving room for adaptation to local circumstances;
  • creating a visual identity;
  • creating a strong campaign website for your initiative;
  • identifying your key communication channels.
