Marc has always been involved in European projects with his pupils, and the ‘citizenship’ objective is very present in his professional activities.
Raising young people's awareness of life and civic commitment, helping them to understand citizenship or to develop their critical thinking, ethical reflection and social awareness by bringing them into dialogue and debate has always been a personal motivation. These many activities led him to become even more involved in European issues by becoming an active member of Team Europe Direct Belgium, whose main objective is to ‘strengthen the capacity for citizen participation on the ground with a view to encouraging public debate on the European Union’.
Marc is a Humanities teacher, Erasmus and EPAS coordinator, eTwinning ambassador and member of Team Europe Direct Belgium.
