L-Ambaxxaturi tal-Inizjattiva taċ-Ċittadini Ewropej jikkontribwixxu biex tixxerred il-kelma dwar l-Inizjattiva taċ-Ċittadini Ewropej, jitrawwem id-dibattitu u tingħata s-setgħa liċ-ċittadini biex jaġixxu fuq il-kawżi li jinteressawhom. Il-ħidma tagħhom issir fuq bażi volontarja.

Dawn ġejjin minn firxa wiesgħa ta’ organizzazzjonijiet attivi fil-livell Ewropew, nazzjonali jew reġjonali, u lkoll għandhom xi ħaġa komuni – għarfien espert fid-demokrazija parteċipattiva u għan komuni li jħeġġeġ l-involviment taċ-ċittadini fit-tfassil tal-politika.
