Do you sometimes struggle to take care of yourself whilst taking care of the planet? You are not alone. Join us on 11 February, 18h to 21h at Mundo Madou in Brussels.
Take part in one of our two workshops and return home with tools to work on your inner resilience and to build a stronger mind-body connection.
Meet likeminded souls over some comforting bites and drinks, and inspire each other to take care of ourselves, each other and the planet.
Programme
Doors open at 17h30. We start with the introduction at 18h.
Introduction - by Inés Elvira
Ines is EU Climate Pact Ambassador, Activist, emergent yoga teacher, facilitator of the “Work that Reconnects” and co-founder of The Earth Society. Striving for an inclusive, intergenerationally just and regenerative planet.
Workshop A: Cultivating Resilience in the Face of Adversity - by Jeroen Janss
Jeroen is founder of the Inner Green Deal and EU Climate Pact Partner. During his interactive workshop you will discuss the nature of resilience and some persistent myths (no, resilience is not endurance). You will explore how to deal with adversity in the current political climate and what we can learn from each other to respond wisely. By the end of the workshop you’ll have gathered some concrete tools to strengthen our inner resilience.
Workshop B: How climate action can be strengthened by inner transition and a strong mind-body connection - by Nina Klein
Nina is EU Climate Pact Ambassador and involved in the Wallonian Transition Network “Réseau Transition”. She is founder of Jardin Prangeleu (Durbuy), where she combines yoga and permaculture, and involved in Conseil Nature, a citizens initiative with a focus on nature connection.
During her interactive workshop you will explore the concept of inner transition - and why a strong body-mind connection can be the basis of sustainable action. You will discover mind-body connection practices such as inner transition, The Work That Reconnects and yoga - and explore how these practices can be used as pathways for changing hearts and minds.
- The event and both workshops are in English.
- You’ll be asked to choose one of the 2 workshops.
If you have any special needs, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
This event is hosted by EU Climate Pact in Belgium in collaboration with the Inner Green Deal and Pact Ambassadors Nina Klein and Inés Elvira.
