State Rehabilitation Council For The Blind

Position Description

Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the council is required to have at least (3) representatives of a community advocacy organizations that represent those who are visually impaired, blind, or deafblind.

While it is not required information on the application, the council must maintain a majority of members who are visually impaired, blind or deafblind. It is helpful to know if we are meeting that requirement while reviewing applications.
