POSITION: Adults in recovery from or at risk of Substance Use Disorder

Position Description

Applicants applying for this position are adults in recovery from or at risk of substance use disorder. 

 

Applicants will provide a cover letter that includes the following:

• a brief description introducing themselves
• a brief description of their current and past experience as an adult in recovery from or at risk of substance use disorder
• a brief description of current and/or past experiences in accessing services in substance use treatment systems
• a statement identifying key skills, strengths and knowledge that you will bring to this council
• a statement identifying involvement or experiences with underrepresented and underserved communities with a focus on equity, in addition to other unique experiences and qualities that would help bring broader worldviews and experiences to this council.
• a statement identifying why they should be chosen to represent this group.
