Digital Equipment for Schools

The Recovery and Resilience Facility supported the purchase 74,000 digital devices (mainly laptops) for distance learning. This was of crucial importance, in particular during the COVID-19 crisis, when basic equipment was often lacking, posing a significant danger of pupils falling behind, especially those already at a socio-economic disadvantage. 74,000 devices were bought and used during COVID-19 and, so far, almost CZK 2.7 billion (over EUR 100 million) were spent. More devices will be bought in the future.
