Gosh, here you just had back surgery.

They called yesterday afternoon to change it.  The anesthesiologist wasn't comfortable doing it in the outpatient area due to his previous heart issues.  So we go next Friday to the main hospital to have it done.  Have a good weekend!

I go to SAILS exercise twice a week and walk a 1/2 mile to my mailbox.  Better than nothing!  I have an exercise bike that calls out to me!! “Ride me!”

*** As I lay in bed right NOW looking out my one window at the fall colors, it hit me that there is a GENTLE BREEZE moving the leaves on ALL the trees I am  seeing. My sign from my Grandparents who knew how much comfort hiding in my (yes mine/lol) HUGE tree as a child. A spot to let the wind rock me back and forth as I read or napped amongst the branches. Lol, and NEVER fell out. I am MISSING them big time right now. Thank you Grandpops and Mamamae for keeping me SAFE as a child.

Yep Sadie is my only reason!  She is her daddy’s girl.  I have to take care of her.  When I’m unable to take the next step she forces me to.  She is a ball full of energy the I can’t ignore!  I have drama in my life,  family that doesn’t always work and such loneliness in my heart.  But it is such a blessing to be able to put it into words with people that feel the same way.  This community is comforting to me to come to and know there are people just like me.  I’m not alone. ❤️

Hanging in there MC @mc6844 . Yes, my old lady has been behaving herself. Lol, told my mechanic the car is going to be the death of me. Walmart as usual tomorrow. I find Tuesdays they seem to have what I need on the shelves.

I have fond memories of helping my Grandparents put up and take down theirs. Then EVERYONE traveled from within our island (Jamaica, West Indies) and from other locations (USA, Canada, England) to celebrate and hang out. Those were the HAPPY DAYS!!!

  It is fake.  I use to put up TWO HUGE trees because I love Christmas so much.  I also put villages under my trees (something my brothers always did).  My neighbors at my previous home said when they came up the hill and saw this glow at the top of the hill, they knew our house was all decorated and lit up!🤣  The kids on the block loved it.  Growing up in a family of 7 with a widowed mother and very little money, Christmas was about the tree which cost $5.00, baking and caroling for the neighbors.  Typically we got one gift that we all shared.  It could be an old bike from Salvation Army that my older brother painted or an old sled that was repainted for us.  That was it, but you would have thought we got the BEST GIFT EVER.  We had each other and that was all that mattered to us.  Poor but happy and content. I tell friends and family I don't want gifts; I simply want them to come and share a meal and visit.

Lol, I had forgotten tomorrow is Veteran's Day so chances are my Upstairs Neighbors From H.ll will be off. And I am skipping my usual trip to Kroger. Will do Wednesday instead. This Wednesday we have Our Holiday Event. IF you plan on attending, remember to register. Thursday is my 9am appointment with my local LOA (office of aging) to switch my Medicare Part D to hopefully something that fits my 2025 budget. Aetna is deleting my CHEAP SilverScript Plan in 2025.  😭😭😭  Anyone else dealing with Medicare Decisions? Mister  🐈  has been in and out all morning I guess trying to get me out of bed. Got to luv him. My Chichuchua (spelling off  🙄)  = a tall cat indeed, my tiny dog I tell him. Everyone, hope you rested LAST NIGHT - I did in spite of another night of sad dreams and missing my only child in Florida. Hey Marcy @MarcyW882921 , remember to let me know if you run across any Sugar Daddy's in Florida = I need one to move me into their mansion but NOT Trump./lol  🤣😂  Keep your head up. Know you are MOVING FORWARD every time you take that step towards a NEW LIFE. One where your luv ones will ALWAYS be a part of. Keep stepping  👣👣👣.
