My wife and I both switched to United Healthcare prescription plans for 2025. I don't know what AARP's association with United Healthcare is but trying to switch our Medicare supplement from a Massachusetts plan to a North Carolina plan was a miserable experience with 7-8 phone calls and eventually rejecting the plan for one of us. Even though we were UHC members since 2019 changing states required a complete reapplication and much higher rates for one of us with lesser benefits.
What were you trying to do with your supplement when you moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina?
Were you wanting to keep your Massachusetts supplement but were told you couldn't? Or were you wanting to get a new supplement in North Carolina (perhaps because the premium would be lower than the Massachusetts supplement premium)?
