Well that gym cost is likely cheaper than premiums for the two of you for a supplement plus D (if you ignore the out of pocket max of advantage plans which is far higher)

The problem with choosing an advantage plan is far more limited networks and if you need a lot of health care you may well pay far more in out of pocket than what you'd pay with a supplement counting that deductible, premiums for it, D, dental, visio...

If you live in one of the many states that don't let you change once a year, you will need to pass medical underwriting to change. Many won't pass and so are trapped for life paying for things they no longer have.

Actually only about 10ish states allow you to switch your supplement (with advantage plans there is no medical underwriting requirement so this reply is addressing supplements) outside of your guaranteed underwriting period. For the rest of them to s...
